Abstract

This article examines collaboration as a core value in Islamic education, focusing on the partnership between two funeral organizations: the Muhammadiyah Branch Leadership Muslim Corpse Association (RKM PCM Palangkaraya) and the Shalahuddin Muslim Family Association (KKM Shalahuddin), which is affiliated with the University of Palangkaraya. The study utilizes a qualitative multi-case research approach to analyze the nature of cooperation, motivations, benefits, obstacles, and challenges in the kifayah process between the two families. Data collection methods included interviews with organizational administrators, observations of the kifayah process, and analysis of organizational charter documents and membership fees. The findings revealed a clear division of responsibilities: RKM PCM Palangkaraya oversees the rituals of washing and praying for the deceased, while KKM Shalahuddin provides equipment and coordinates the burial. This collaboration is vital for ensuring that the burial aligns with Islamic law, despite facing challenges such as communication barriers and funding limitations. The partnership enhances service delivery and nurtures mutual respect between the organizations. However, the lack of prior discussions regarding tahlil practices may create confusion about roles and responsibilities. The study underscores the importance of incorporating effective communication and mutual understanding into educational curricula, allowing students to grasp the values of cooperation and the principles of corpse management in Islam. This knowledge ultimately fosters character development and community skills, highlighting education's role in addressing societal needs within an Islamic framework. Future research is recommended to further investigate tahlil practices in this collaborative context to clarify the roles and responsibilities of each organization.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the implementation of rehabilitation for narcotics addicts based on the concept of Islamic education according to Imam Al Ghazali at IPWL Bahrul Maghfiroh, Malang City. The research was conducted qualitatively using a phenomenological approach with purposive sampling techniques through interviews with Rehabilitation Home Assistants, Guardians of Addicts, and Representatives of Addicts who are currently undergoing or have completed the rehabilitation period. The research results show that Therapeutic Community (TC) is the main program at IPWL BMCI Malang City based on Islamic education through an Islamic emotional approach because it prioritizes environmentally friendly therapy. The TC concept applied is Al-Ghazali's educational concept within the scope of Hablumminallah and Hablumminannas. The Hablumminallah concept can be seen in the principle of Man Helping Man to Help by the Mujahadah Principle, the Recovery Concept by Tadzkiyatun Nafs, as well as the Right Living concept by Al-Ghazali's Educational Curriculum Principles, namely that they are both oriented towards a straight approach to Allah. The problem with the Islamic education-based Therapeutic Community program is that the companion cannot know the truth of the expressions expressed by the rehab students as a whole, the companion can only detect changes in behavior and prevent behavior that will arise from signs obtained through information extracted after counseling. personally.

The product results were then tested in a learning process involving thirty students as research subjects.  All data was analyzed using SPSS 21 software with correlation analysis techniques. The results of the analysis regarding the use of the resulting music products have run well in accordance with the design that has been determined. Furthermore, the results of statistical analysis show that music intervention is proven to stimulate children's emotions in early childhood in the learning process with a value of 0.041. Abstract

This article aims to analyze the factors influencing the decision-making process of Muslim parents from upper-middle economic backgrounds in selecting Islamic-based educational institutions in Palangka Raya. Hasanka Boarding School, as one of the most favored modern Islamic educational institutions, becomes the focus of this study, highlighting the need to examine the underlying reasons and motivations of parents in choosing this school. The research employed a mixed-method approach with case study, using closed-ended questionnaires for quantitative data collection and open-ended questionnaires for qualitative descriptive analysis. The study involved 55 respondents, all of whom are parents of students at Hasanka Boarding School Junior High School. The instrument items were developed based on the framework proposed by Abuddin Nata concerning the factors that influence parents in choosing Islamic education. The findings indicate that religious aspects (95%) are the dominant factor motivating parents to choose Hasanka Boarding School, followed by the quality of education and teachers (91,6%), as well as the school's role in supporting social development and future aspirations (90%). Meanwhile, the integrated curriculum and school reputation were found to be lower in the hierarchy of motivating factors. These findings were analyzed through the integration of several theoretical frameworks, including Maslow's theory of motivation, Lancaster's consumer choice theory, Islamic education theory, community-based education theory, and religious moderation theory. This study contributes to strengthening the understanding of the multidimensional factors that influence educational decisions among Muslim middle-class communities in the modern era.
