Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, subjective norms, and perceived risk on the intention to make cash waqf through Tokopedia, with attitude as an intervening variable among Generation Z in Banten Province. This study used a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 120 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and subjective norms had a positive and significant effect on the attitude and intention to make cash waqf through Tokopedia. Meanwhile, perceived risk had a negative effect on intention. Attitude was also proven to significantly mediate the relationship between the independent variables and the intention to make cash waqf. This study indicates that digital waqf platforms such as Tokopedia have significant potential to increase Generation Z's participation in cash waqf. Therefore, increasing digital literacy, public trust, and easy access to digital waqf services are crucial for optimizing cash waqf collection in Indonesia.

Abstract

STEM literacy is an essential skill for students in the 21st century; however, its level remains relatively low among junior high school students. The Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model offers a potential approach to improve this ability. This study aimed to analyze the effect of CTL on seventh-grade students’ STEM literacy and examine differences in STEM literacy improvement between students taught using CTL and Discovery Learning. A quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design was employed. The participants were 74 seventh-grade students from a public junior high school in Serang City, divided equally into experimental and control classes. The instruments consisted of a STEM literacy test based on six indicators proposed by Pitiporntapin et al. (2023), an observation sheet, and a student response questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test due to non-normal distribution. The results showed that CTL had a significant effect on students’ STEM literacy, with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. A significant difference in STEM literacy improvement was also found between the experimental and control classes (0.000 < 0.05). CTL implementation reached 100%, while students’ responses were very positive, with an average score of 84.35%. These findings confirm that CTL is effective in enhancing STEM literacy among seventh-grade students in the context of environmental conservation around the school.

Abstract

The school’s existing technological resources form the foundation of this community service project. MTS Al-Khairiyah in Kampung Panacekan possesses adequate technological resources, ranging from internet access to laptops and computers. The school has also recently begun administering computer-based exams independently. The problem identification phase revealed that, although these resources are available, teachers have not fully utilized them to develop Canva- and AI-based teaching materials due to a lack of knowledge regarding how to use these applications. This community service initiative aims to optimize existing potential to produce the best possible results so that teachers can independently and sustainably create digital teaching materials based on Canva and AI. This initiative employs the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, ensuring that the school’s existing assets can be effectively developed and utilized. The results of the community service project show that teachers are now able to independently create digital teaching materials based on Canva and AI and use them in Islamic Religious Education classes.
