Abstract

The community service was a program inspired by the problems of Sikat stone craftsmen in capital management, access to markets, and knowledge of business management. This program adopted a participatory approach in order to enhance the skills of the craftsmen in capital management and access to the market, including the implementation of sustainable economic principles. The main objectives of the program were improved capital management, increased market access through digitized marketing, and the introduction of the concept of sustainability to the craftsmen. Among the major issues analyzed were poor capital management, limited market access, and lack of knowledge in sustainable economics. The result of such a process is that, so far, 80% of the artisans have been able to implement better financial recording systems; 70% have begun to use digital marketing, realizing a 30% increase in sales within the first three months of the exercise. Also, 60% of the artisans so far have pledged to shift to more environmentally friendly raw materials. It has, therefore, brought about changes in capital management, market access, and awareness of sustainable practices among the sikat stone craftsmen. These deeds, while perhaps holding a great potential for independent and sustainable business growth, have their drawbacks; there is a dire need for continuous mentoring and monitoring if these changes are to persist.

Abstract

Agriculture plays a very vital role in the development of the rural economy; nevertheless, a large number of farmers are found to be confronted with financial crises due to changes in market prices, inefficient practice, or a very poor awareness of modern technologies. Equipping farmers with up-to-date digital innovations along the value chain focuses on sustainable farming practices, financial literacy, and digital marketing strategies to maximize income. The general vision is to increase farmers’ productivity, profitability, and resilience by equipping them with knowledge that will enable to adapt to changing markets. Participatory approaches involve farmers in workshops and field demonstrations of sustainable agriculture, digital marketing, and financial management. Farmers learn how to manage their farms more effectively by developing their e-commerce platformto market their products, using social media to access broader markets, and applying precision farming techniques. The program participants witnessed improved incomes for the farmers, enhanced access to markets, enhanced financial management, and an improvement in agricultural productivity. Application of the digital tool supported the introduction of sustainable farming practices, therefore, contributing to economic resilience in the long term, as well as environmental sustainability.

Abstract

Within any organization, the value of risk management depends on the level of organizational trust, the commitment, and the organizational core functions of financial viability. Still, for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), risk management assignments for the organization value are still seen functionally and technically. This neglects the management control systems from the behavioral and psychological aspects. Consequently, there is minimal scholarship that dissects the interrelations of the human component and organizational systems articulated for commitment and loyalty in the smaller business dimension. To fill this void, the current study utilizes the framing of Behavioral Risk Management Theory with Social Cognitive Theory to assess the relationship of risk management to organizational commitment with self-efficacy as a moderating variable. Quantitative data were acquired using a structured questionnaire and distributed to SME employees in the Bali Province. These data were analyzed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). It was ascertained that risk management systems function and organizational commitment. Self-efficacy was identified as a significant antecedent influence on organizational commitment. Employees who advanced self-efficacy view risk management systems as organizational supports, access organizational structures, and perceive that organizational trust is extended to them, reinforcing commitment to the organization. This study delineates the need for GRM systems and incorporates psychological risk management systems. Subsequent studies may improve the model by adding variables like perceived organizational support, trust, and leadership style to better capture the human aspects of risk management in maintaining committed employees and resilient organizations.

Abstract

This community service program was conducted at a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Padangsambian Klod, Denpasar, with the aim of enhancing financial literacy through waste bank education as a sustainable economic and environmental solution. The activity, carried out in January 2025, was designed as a one-day intervention involving preparation, introduction, practical workshop, financial literacy training, and reflection. The program adopted a participatory approach, ensuring active involvement of SME owners and local community members. Results showed a significant improvement in participants’ awareness and attitudes toward waste management and financial practices. Before the program, most participants perceived waste as valueless and had limited understanding of basic financial management. Afterward, they demonstrated better knowledge of waste as an asset, applied simple bookkeeping techniques, and expressed stronger motivation to save and engage actively in community initiatives. The integration of waste bank education with financial literacy proved effective in linking environmental responsibility with economic empowerment. Furthermore, the cultural relevance of the program increased participants’ acceptance and ownership, fostering opportunities for replication in other communities. In conclusion, this initiative demonstrates that short, well-structured interventions can generate meaningful changes and contribute to sustainable community development.

Abstract

In today’s complex and fast-changing work environments, organizations increasingly rely on employees who can take initiative without waiting for instruction. However, this urgency is often undermined by a persistent behavioral pattern: the bystander effect, where individuals hesitate to act due to perceived shared responsibility. While previous research has explored organizational silence and proactivity separately, few studies have examined how internal communication affects proactive behavior through the lens of the bystander effect. This study uses Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to analyze data from 200 employees across the public and private sectors in Bali. The results reveal that organizational communication significantly reduces the bystander effect and enhances proactive behavior, both directly and indirectly. The bystander effect is shown to be a meaningful psychological mechanism that mediates these dynamics. Future research should explore how remote work, digital communication, or leadership style influence this relationship over time.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the effects of motivation, work discipline, and interpersonal relationships on employee job satisfaction at PT Enggang Angkasa Sarana, a Bali-based company that provides aircraft maintenance and operating support.  Enhancing job happiness is essential for raising employee commitment, performance, and organizational stability.  To improve comprehension, the study combined qualitative data with a quantitative methodology.  Since a saturation sample technique was used, all 95 permanent employees were included in the population and could participate as respondents.  SPSS was used for data analysis after structured questionnaires were used to collect the data.  All variables were shown to be valid and reliable by instrument testing.  Traditional assumption tests were used in multiple linear regression analysis to confirm that the data met the requirements for linearity, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, and normality.  The results show that motivation, work discipline, and human interactions all significantly and favorably affect employee job satisfaction, both separately and collectively. Motivation was found to have the strongest influence, followed by work discipline and human relations. These findings suggest that improving interpersonal relationships, enforcing consistent discipline, and strengthening motivation through recognition and development opportunities are essential strategies for enhancing job satisfaction and supporting optimal employee performance at PT Enggang Angkasa Sarana.

Abstract

Abstract

This Community Service Program seeks to improve students' caring attitudes towards the environment at SDN 6 Padang Sambian Klod through the application of the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) concept. The main problem in focus is the student’s low level of knowledge and participation in appropriate waste disposal activities which results in pollution of the environment. This problem is solved through direct observation, counseling, discussions, and practical work including waste sorting and recycling workshops. The students’ improved awareness and behavior is profound. More than eighty percent of students have shown improvement in waste management understanding, practiced waste segregation, and recycling. Teachers and parents also noted that students were actively participating in cleanliness activities at school and at home. Even so, there are still problems such as a greater proportion of these facilities need to be provided and sustained waste management practices need to be more deeply entrenched. The conclusions drawn are that further education and better facilities would help children develop better environmental attitudes.

Abstract

ustrial waste, especially from food and beverage packaging, has emerged as a pressing environmental concern. Among the challenges is the limited awareness and understanding among students regarding appropriate recycling practices within industrial settings. This community service activity aimed to enhance students’ knowledge and awareness of recycling management systems, with a focus on fermented beverage packaging in industrial environments. Conducted by students of Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (UNDIKNAS), the program included a company visit to PT. Yakult Indonesia Persada in Mojokerto, where participants engaged in interactive counseling sessions, educational media presentations, focus group discussions, and direct observations of recycling processes. The activity resulted in high levels of student engagement, with participants actively discussing and questioning the presented material. Observational learning allowed them to grasp the practical application of the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Overall, the activity proved effective in deepening students’ environmental awareness and understanding of sustainable industrial practices while fostering stronger academia-industry collaboration.
