Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of several topics relevant to constructing an approach to teaching educational administration and leadership in Muslim countries. First, it places the topic in the context of the changing nature and critiques of the field that argue for a greater internationalization to both resist some of the negative aspects of globalization and to represent countries’ traditions in the professional curriculum. The study of education administration and management theory is a part that provides direction and views on how an educational administrator carries out his duties based on truth values, both practical and theoretical values. This journal will explain the theory of management and administration which is very important and influential in an institution. In its application, management and administration are a mutually sustainable unit so that an institution can achieve its goals if its leaders can manage the administration properly, be it the management of Human Resources, Finance, Infrastructure and so on. If the administrative arrangements can run well, then the management in an institution will automatically be organized by itself.

Abstract

This study addresses the problem of low self-esteem among students in rural madrasah, which is primarily caused by uniform instructional practices and limited attention to learners’ psychological needs. Such conditions contribute to poor self-confidence, low motivation, and weak learning engagement. The purpose of this research is to develop and examine the effectiveness of the Uniqcall Education Learning Service Management Model in improving students’ self-esteem at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Fatah Cikembang, Kertasari District, Bandung Regency. The study is theoretically based on Self-Determination Theory, Self-Efficacy Theory, and Universal Design for Learning, which emphasize autonomy, competence, relatedness, and inclusive instructional design as foundations for positive student development. The research employed a Research and Development approach using the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and a standardized self-esteem questionnaire administered before and after the intervention. Quantitative analysis demonstrated a statistically significant increase in students’ self-esteem after the implementation of the Uniqcall Education model. The findings show strengthened dimensions of autonomy, competence, and social relatedness, supported by more personalized, collaborative, and technology-assisted learning services. The model successfully created meaningful learning experiences and improved student psychological well-being. This study concludes that the Uniqcall Education learning service management model is effective in enhancing self-esteem and supporting student development in madrasah contexts. The novelty lies in an integrated management model that combines psychological development principles with learner-centered services, positioning self-esteem improvement as a central outcome of educational management and offering a replicable framework for school quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of a quality management model using the SYNTHESIS Framework approach in association universities. This study was conducted in the province of West Java, an area known as one of the centers of higher education in Indonesia. West Java has a number of Association Universities that play an important role in providing quality education for the community. From a planning and implementation perspective, there is a positive trend toward a more systematic, participatory, and values-based quality management system. The quality planning process at institutions such as Halim Sanusi University and STEBI PUI Bogor has begun to be directed beyond meeting administrative demands to become rooted in a holistic and contextual institutional vision. In terms of planning, quality policies have been strategically designed to accommodate the direction of institutional development, stakeholder needs, and national accreditation requirements. This planning is characterized by the involvement of leaders, quality assurance units, and various elements of the academic community through deliberation forums, quality workshops, and integration into the strategic plan (Renstra) and annual work program. This demonstrates efforts to synchronize quality planning documents with actual implementation in the field. Meanwhile, from an implementation perspective, it was found that quality policies in several units have begun to be implemented using a systems-based approach and a continuous quality improvement cycle. However, implementation still faces challenges such as gaps in human resource capacity, limitations in information technology, and inconsistencies in quality control across all levels. Nevertheless, the collective spirit to implement a culture of quality has grown and continues to be strengthened through training, coaching, and regular monitoring and evaluation. The policy system for integrated quality management at the Association of Higher Education Institutions has shown significant progress, particularly in terms of institutional awareness and strengthening the quality structure. However, the full success of this policy depends heavily on consistent implementation, increased human resource capacity, and a long-term commitment to cultivating quality as an integral part of higher education management
