Abstract

The HR Assistance Lecturer (superior) activity at Palangka Raya University carries out financial literacy education with a focus on the theme "Exploring the World of Credit Cards and Credit Wisely." This activity aims to provide employees with an in-depth understanding of financial management, credit card management, and credit intelligence. Through this program, employees will be provided with comprehensive educational materials in the form of guides, brochures, and presentation materials. A digital-based interactive learning platform is also being developed to facilitate self-learning. In addition, a tracking and evaluation system was designed to measure the effectiveness of the activities. The program also includes promotional campaigns and financial literacy campaigns to raise public awareness of the importance of financial literacy. In order to strengthen the program, counseling and support services were provided for employees facing difficulties managing debt. A partnership plan with the bank was implemented to provide support, resources, and access to relevant banking services. This activity is expected to provide direct benefits to employees in improving their financial literacy competencies and providing the best service to the community in civil registration aspects that involve financial aspects

Abstract

Pemilhan umum adalah hak setiap masyarakat untuk terlibat aktif dalam setiap kegiatan dalam pemilihan umum, banyak rangkaian kegiatan yang bisa diikuti oleh masyarakat, hal ini juga yang dilakukan oleh pemilih pemula dikota palangkaraya dalam kegiatan pemilihan umum serentak tahun 2024. Pemilih pemula dikota palangkaraya terlibat aktif dalam mengikuti proses pemilihan umum. Hal ini dilakukan karena pemilih pemula ingin mengkespresikan suara yang dimiliki dalam proses pemilihan umum tahun 2024. Penelitiam ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu dengan menarik kesimpulan terhadap hasil wawancara yang dilakukan dengan beberapa informan yang sudah dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria tertentu. Untuk teknik pemilihan informan menggunakan tekni snowball dikarenakan masih tertutupnya masyarakat yang bersedia untuk diwawancara sehingga dengan teknik snowball tersebut didapatkan petunjuk dari informan yang sudah diwawancarai untuk mewawancara informan selanjutnya sampai hasil wawancara dianggap jenuh. Terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pemilih pemula dikota palangkaraya, yakni pemilih pemula mengumpulkan informasi politik terkait dengan pemilu untuk dijadikan refensi dalam menentukan pilihan di bilik susara, selain itu pemilih pemula dikota panagkaraya juag aktif menyaksikan debat politik yang disisrakan secara langsung di televise nasional dan juga saluran youtube dan pemilih pemula dikota paangkaraya juga mengikuti kampanye politik dalam rangka memberikan dukungan politik secara langsung dalam proses pemilihan umum tahun 2024. Yang terakhir pemilih pemula memberika dukungan secara voting kepada kontestan politik dengan memeberikan suara di Tempat Pemungutan Suara (TPS).

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to overcome the issue of tedious presentations by the students of SMAN 10 Palangka Raya. This issue occurs due to the lack of students' digital literacy, affecting their public speaking abilities. For this reason, the team provided the use of digital media mentoring to students for problem-solving. The digital media used in this activity were Prezi and Canva. The mentoring used explanation and learning-by-doing methods. The activity was held on May 2023. The students received the information well. It was proven by the questionnaires that were answered, 92.3% stated that this activity was useful to enhance the knowledge of the use of digital media in presentations. They stated that this activity could help make presentations more interesting and interactive.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) program for beneficiaries in Menteng Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis focuses on targeting accuracy, data verification and validation, and the timeliness of aid distribution.The results show that the BLT program has been relatively effective in reducing the economic burden of low-income communities. The use of a decile-based data system and the involvement of neighborhood units (RT) in verification contribute to improved targeting. However, challenges such as data inconsistencies, duplicate beneficiaries, and limited evaluation remain. From a sharia perspective, the program aligns with the principles of justice (‘adl) and public welfare (maslahah). Nevertheless, strengthening transparency, accountability, and data validation is necessary to ensure fair and sustainable distribution in accordance with Islamic economic principles.

Abstract

The low literacy rate and limited infrastructure continue to be ongoing issues in the city of Palangka Raya. As an effort to improve the literacy value of the community, especially in the narrower social sphere. Therefore, in this case, the establishment of libraries at the Village or Subdistrict Government level is very much needed. As a step to regulate the management and organization of libraries from the city level to the sub-district level, the Palangka Raya City Government has enacted Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2019 concerning Library Management. This Community Service Program focuses on improving community literacy, particularly for students of SD Negeri 1 Kereng Bangkirai, conducted in the village of Kereng Bangkirai. Thru this activity, it is expected that there will be an increase in community visits to the "Harati" Library in the village of Kereng Bangkirai and that it will enhance interest and awareness of literacy, especially among the students of SD Negeri 1 Kereng Bangkirai. Thus, this Community Service activity can run and have a maximum impact.
