Abstract

The Independent Campus Program is an educational breakthrough in Indonesia that gives students the freedom to manage the course of education. This concept emphasizes the principle of academic freedom, where students have full control in designing the curriculum, choosing courses, and determining the course of learning. The main goal of Kampus Merdeka is to produce graduates who not only have academic knowledge, but also practical skills that are relevant to the needs of industry and society. The program invites students to be active in extracurricular activities, internships, and collaborative projects. In addition, Kampus Merdeka provides space for the development of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. Students are empowered to pursue their interests and talents, creating a more meaningful learning experience. The implementation of Kampus Merdeka has created a positive impact in shaping students who are more independent, adaptive, and ready to face the world of work. The community's response to this program is quite positive, but the challenges of implementation and adjustment are still the focus of discussion. Thus, Kampus Merdeka is a step towards transforming education that is more dynamic and relevant to the demands of the times.

Abstract

This study analyzes the synergy between zakat and waqf in an effort to realize sharia economic welfare in the era with a contemporary approach to fiqh muamalah. Zakat and waqf are seen as important economic instruments in supporting fair distribution of wealth, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development in society. Through a literature study, this study found that the synergy between zakat which functions as direct redistribution and long-term waqf can strengthen the foundation of the people's economy. This study also discusses the challenges of regulation, professionalism of management, and low public literacy regarding the importance of zakat and productive waqf as economic tools. Recommendations in the form of implementing digital technology, improving amil governance, and cross-institutional collaboration are expected to optimize the role of zakat and waqf in creating a more just and economically prosperous society in accordance with the principles of fiqh muamalah.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the potential of animation media as a tool for da'wah from the perspective of Quranic verses relevant to the principles of da'wah. Animation media was chosen due to its high visual appeal, its ability to simplify complex religious concepts, and its relevance to the lifestyle of the digital generation. In this study, a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach was used. Data were collected through a literature review of Islamic sources, content analysis of available Islamic animation, and interviews with experts in the fields of da’wah and animation media. The results indicate that animation has great potential to support da’wah by delivering Islamic values in an engaging manner, especially for children and young generations. Other findings show that the use of animation as a media for da’wah often does not fully leverage the principles of Islamic da’wah as outlined in Quranic verses such as QS. An-Nahl: 125 and QS. Ali Imran: 104. The main challenges identified include the lack of high-quality Islamic animation production, limited understanding of audience preferences, and the dominance of non-Islamic content on digital platforms. This research concludes that a more systematic strategy is needed to integrate Islamic da’wah values into animation production. With the right approach, animation can become an effective and relevant media for supporting the spread of Islamic values in the digital age

Abstract

The transformation of da'wah in the digital era has become a significant phenomenon in da'wah management. Along with the development of information and communication technology, da'wah methods have undergone fundamental changes from face-to-face interaction to the use of digital platforms such as social media. This study aims to examine the challenges faced by da'wah organizations in implementing technology, as well as to offer solutions based on the development of a more modern and adaptive da'wah strategy to changing times. Through literature studies and empirical analysis, Although the use of digital media offers wider reach and better accessibility, there are problems such as the digital divide, disinformation, and changes in audience preferences that need to be addressed. This study found that technology-based da'wah strategies must be adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the audience to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of da'wah. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for da'wah institutions in optimizing the use of digital technology, as well as developing a more innovative and responsive approach to social dynamics in society. Thus, the transformation of da'wah in the digital era is not only about adopting technology, but also about implementing strategies that are wise and in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the interpretation of syifa' (healing) verses in the Qur'an by two prominent exegetes, M. Quraish Shihab and Sayyid Quthb, focusing on six key verses: At-Tawbah [9]:14, Yunus [10]:57, An-Nahl [16]:69, Al-Isra [17]:82, Ash-Shu‘ara [26]:80, and Fussilat [41]:44. Employing a qualitative library research method with a comparative approach, this study examines the similarities and differences in their interpretations by considering each scholar’s historical and theological context. The findings reveal that while both exegetes agree that syifa' represents a form of divine mercy with healing properties, Quraish Shihab tends to elaborate on its dual function—spiritual and physical—using contextual and multidisciplinary reasoning. Sayyid Quthb, on the other hand, primarily views syifa' in a spiritual and moral light, emphasizing faith and justice within a socio-political framework. Quraish Shihab’s interpretation also opens space for scientific perspectives, as seen in his discussion of honey in Surah An-Nahl as a natural remedy, whereas Sayyid Quthb focuses more on spiritual purification. This study suggests that the Qur'anic concept of syifa' offers potential for integrating spiritual values with modern scientific approaches to health, thus encouraging a holistic understanding of healing that encompasses physical, psychological, and spiritual dimensions.

Abstract

Leadership literacy is a fundamental element in developing excellent human resources (HR) within Islamic preaching institutions, especially in the era of disruption characterized by rapid social, technological, and communication changes. This study employs a literature review method by analyzing books, reputable international journals, and academic documents to understand how leadership literacy is a key strategy in enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of HR management in Islamic preaching institutions. The findings indicate that leaders with strong leadership literacy can manage organizations adaptively, utilize technology in preaching, and establish sustainable leadership regeneration systems. Moreover, leadership literacy contributes to fostering an innovative organizational culture, strengthening collaborative networks, and improving leadership succession in response to global challenges. Thus, this study emphasizes that revitalizing leadership literacy is crucial for developing excellent human resources within Islamic preaching institutions and ensuring their relevance in the modern era.

Abstract

In the digital era, optimizing the utilization of Islamic philanthropy, such as Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf (ZISWAF), is crucial for empowering the Muslim community economically. This study aims to analyze the collaborative model between Islamic financial technology (sharia fintech) and Islamic financial institutions (IFIs) in enhancing the effectiveness of Islamic philanthropic fund distribution. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review, the findings reveal that synergy between these entities enables a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable system for collecting and distributing funds. Fintech is a digitalization accelerator and access expander, while IFIs ensure sharia compliance and professional fund management. This collaborative model can transform beneficiaries (Mustahiq) into donors (Muzakki), strengthen the Islamic microenterprise sector, and foster an inclusive and just Islamic financial ecosystem. The study recommends strengthening regulations, enhancing sharia digital literacy, and integrating systems between fintech and IFIs to support an Islamic philanthropy-based community economy.

Abstract

In the digital era, artificial intelligence (AI) plays an increasingly significant role in Islamic da'wah management. This research examines how AI can be integrated into contemporary da'wah strategies to increase the effectiveness of Islamic propagation. The main focus of the research includes Big Data analysis to understand religious trends, personalized da'wah content based on audience preferences, the development of an Islamic chatbot for more responsive interactions, and the automation of da'wah content distribution through digital media. The research method used is a literature review approach and a comparative analysis between conventional and AI-based da'wah methods. The results show that AI can increase the reach and efficiency of da'wah by providing a more interactive and relevant experience for the audience. However, AI implementation also faces challenges, such as algorithmic bias, limitations in understanding the spiritual and emotional aspects of da'wah, and the need for content validation to ensure it remains in line with Islamic principles. Furthermore, collaboration between religious scholars, academics, and technology practitioners is crucial to ensure that AI is used ethically and responsibly in da'wah. This study concludes that AI has great potential to support Islamic preaching in the digital era, but it must remain a tool that complements the role of ulama and da'i, not replace them. With wise integration and proper oversight, AI can be an innovative solution to strengthen da'wah that is more inclusive, adaptive, and relevant to current developments.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dakwah sebagai upaya menyampaikan ajaran Islam dengan memanfaatkan media modern, salah satunya film. Di era digital, da'i dituntut kreatif dalam memilih media agar pesan dakwah dapat diterima dengan baik oleh mad'u. Film Merindu Cahaya De Amstel dipilih sebagai objek penelitian karena mengandung pesan-pesan keagamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan film tersebut dan menganalisis pesan dakwah terkait akidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan isi analisis berdasarkan teori semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film ini menyampaikan pesan dakwah meliputi keyakinan, perintah, larangan, ibadah sosial, adab, dan budi pekerti yang baik. Melalui film ini, dakwah dapat dilakukan secara inovatif, menjadikan media sebagai sarana untuk memperluas penyebaran nilai-nilai Islam secara inspiratif, Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pemanfaatan media kreatif dalam menyampaikan pesan dakwah, agar mampu menjangkau generasi muda dan masyarakat umum secara lebih inklusif dan menarik. Abstract This research examines da'wah as an effort to convey Islamic teachings by utilizing modern media, one of which is film. In the digital era, da'is are required to be creative in selecting media so that the da'wah message can be well received by the audience (mad'u). The film Merindu Cahaya De Amstel was chosen as the object of study because it contains religious messages. This research aims to describe the film and analyze the da'wah messages related to faith, sharia, and morals. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis based on Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic theory. The findings reveal that the film conveys da'wah messages including beliefs, commandments, prohibitions, social worship, manners, and good character. Through this film, da'wah can be conducted innovatively, making media a means to expand the dissemination of Islamic values in an inspiring manner. This research emphasizes the importance of utilizing creative media in delivering da'wah messages to reach the younger generation and the general public in a more inclusive and engaging way.
