Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the Implementation of Global Citizenship Education for Celebes Global School students. Global citizenship education is a prerequisite for citizens to be able to participate in the differences of modernity, which requires skills that citizens must possess. This research method uses case studies through observation and in-depth interviews. The results of the study show that Celebes Global School Makassar implements global citizenship education by organizing student exchanges with the aim of learning from each other's cultures that represent Western (Australian) and Eastern (Indonesian) cultures. Celebes Global School, in collaboration with intra-school organizations, regularly celebrates interfaith holidays together such as Hijriyah New Year, Christian New Year and Chinese New Year. Celebes Global School Makassar realizes the importance of global citizenship education by organizing international standard education through implementing curriculum integration between Indonesia and Australia.

Abstract

Artikel ini menelusuri Islam Nusantara dalam perspektif nilai ke-Indonesiaan yang menunjukkan sisi humanisme-religius dalam moderasi beragama warga negara sebagai bentuk nasionalisme yang diwujudkan dalam gerakan keagamaan. Melalui studi pustaka, artikel ini menganalisis keterkaitan konsep Islam Nusantara dengan nilai-nilai ke-Indonesiaan yang telah melebur menjadi praktik keberagamaan sekaligus menjadi warna bagi negara Indonesia yang majemuk dan plural. Ditemukan bahwa keterkaitan antara Islam Nusantara dengan nilai ke-Indonesiaan terletak pada berkembangnya praktik keagamaan yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai ke-Indonesia yang diperkuat melalui kearifan lokal sehingga memperkuat identitas Islam dan Indonesia yang sama-sama bersifat terbuka, moderat, humanis (menjunjung nilai kemanusiaan), kolektif (mengutamakan persatuan) dan egaliter (menjunjung kesetaraan). Hal tersebut merefleksikan bahwa konsepsi Islam Nusantara menjadi ruh bagi moderasi beragama di Indonesia yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Cultural diversity is a distinctive characteristic of Indonesian society, which consists of various ethnicities, religions, races, and groups. The philosophy of Pancasila, as the nation's foundational ideology, functions to unite these differences into a harmonious whole. This article aims to explore how Pancasila values support social understanding and the formation of national identity within the framework of cultural diversity. Using a qualitative approach and literature review method, this article examines the role of Pancasila in maintaining harmony amidst diversity and its contribution to shaping an inclusive national identity. The study concludes that Pancasila plays a crucial role in strengthening the sense of unity in the midst of cultural plurality and contributes to the formation of a strong and harmonious national identity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Card Edu Spin learning media in Pancasila education subjects at SDN 2 Bolangitang Timur as a solution to the lack of utilization of learning media in the classroom. In its implementation, the researcher applied the edutainment method in the hope of creating a fun learning process and presenting a more relaxed classroom atmosphere. The development of Card Edu Spin learning media uses the ADDIE development model which includes five stages: Analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. However, this study was only carried out up to the implementation stage due to the limited time available to the researcher. The validation results from experts and users showed that the Card Edu Spin media obtained an average score of 90.4% which was stated (very feasible) for use by teachers and students in elementary schools and the results of the trial use of Card Edu Spin media showed a score of 100% which was also stated (very feasible). Thus, this study successfully showed that the Card Edu Spin learning media developed can be an effective solution for the importance of using learning media at SDN 2 Bolangitang Timur and provide an alternative to interesting and interactive learning media. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Card Edu Spin pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di SDN 2 Bolangitang Timur sebagai solusi atas kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran di kelas. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peneliti menerapkan metode edutainment dengan harapan dapat menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan menghadirkan suasana kelas yang lebih rileks. Pengembangan media pembelajaran Card Edu Spin menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahapan Analisis (analysis), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development) , implementasi (implementation) dan evaluasi (evaluation). Namun, penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan hingga tahap implementasi karena keterbatasan waktu yang dimiliki oleh peneliti. Hasil validasi dari para ahli dan pengguna menunjukan bahwa media Card Edu Spin memperoleh nilai rata-rata 90,4% yang dinyatakan (sangat layak) digunakan oleh guru dan siswa di sekolah dasar dan hasil uji coba penggunaan media Card Edu Spin menunjukan skor 100% yang juga dinyatakan (sangat layak). Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berhasil menunjukan bahwa media pembelaja Card Edu Spin yang dikembangkan dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk pentingnya penggunaan media pembelajaran di SDN 2 Boangitang Timur dan memberikan alternatif media pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

Tradisi munjungan yang telah secara turun temurun dilakukan oleh masyarakat kabupaten pandeglang, tidak banyak diketahui oleh umum, bahkan masyarakat lokal pandeglang sendiri. Faktanya, tradisi ini memiliki banyak nilai positif bagi generasi muda secara umum. Belum diketahui apakah tradisi ini juga dapat dijumpai pada masyarakat di daerah lain, namun secara jelas hampir seluruh masyarakat di berbagai daerah di kabupaten pandeglang melakukan tradisi ini. Tulisan ini secara umum akan menyoroti bagaimana tradisi Munjungan dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Mengingat bahwa pembelajaran sejarah pada hakekatnya ialah bertujuan untuk pembentukan jati diri peserta didik secara umum dan khususnya peserta didik di wilayah kabupaten pandeglang serta Tradisi Munjungan perlu untuk dilestarikan, maka keduanya dapat dikombinasikan. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara penulis dengan berbagai pihak terkait, kajian literatur dari berbagai sumber tertulis, hingga observasi di lapangan. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa tradisi Munjungan dapat diintegrasikan pada KD 3.8 dan dikembangkan menjadi sumber belajar Sejarah.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the strategies and approaches used by shipping universities to teach anti-corruption practices and build integrity in the maritime industry. The study was carried out using a descriptiveanalytical research model that involved reviewing relevant literature and sources of information. The findings of this research suggest that anticorruption education should be an essential part of maritime education. Effective educational strategies include the use of real-life case studies, simulations of corruption scenarios, and collaborative learning to enhance students' understanding of corruption risks in the maritime context. A holistic approach is also adopted, which involves collaboration with industry, establishing a code of ethics, and cultivating the values of integrity. The research results indicate that implementing this approach can produce graduates who are more aware of anti-corruption practices, promote integrity, and contribute to improving ethics in the maritime industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didorong oleh tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mata pelajaran PPKn untuk kelas IV di SDN 1 Bonepantai, khususnya rendahnya minat siswa dalam belajar, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang terbatas dan monoton. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengembangkan komik digital interaktif sebagai alat pembelajaran yang efektif untuk PPKn di kelas IV SDN 1 Bonepantai. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D dari Thiagarajan. Data dikumpulkan melalui validasi oleh para ahli dalam bidang media, bahasa, konten, dan pengguna (umpan balik dari guru). Kelayakan media ini mendapatkan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 92% dari para ahli tersebut. Uji coba kelompok kecil menunjukkan tingkat persetujuan sebesar 95%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media komik digital dalam pelajaran PPKn dapat meningkatkan motivasi, minat, berpikir kritis, dan pemahaman siswa, yang pada akhirnya membuat proses pembelajaran lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Learning discipline is a crucial element in achieving optimal educational outcomes. However, the reality at SDN 4 Bonepantai shows low discipline among fifth-grade students in Civics (PKn) due to the dominance of monotonous learning methods. This study focuses on efforts to improve student learning discipline through the implementation of the Time Token Cooperative Learning model, designed to train speech management and responsibility. Using a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, this study involved 15 students and was conducted in two cycles encompassing planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of quantitative data analysis showed significant, gradual improvement; in the first meeting of cycle I, the student discipline level reached only 27% (4 students) and increased to 40% (6 students) in the second meeting. The positive trend continued in cycle II, where the first meeting recorded a figure of 67% (10 students) and achieved the success target in the second meeting, with 80% (12 students) meeting the discipline indicators. The main conclusion of this study confirms that the implementation of the Time Token model has proven effective in building learning discipline, regulating active participation, and increasing student compliance with rules in Civics learning. ABSTRAK Disiplin belajar merupakan elemen krusial dalam pencapaian hasil pendidikan yang optimal, namun realitas di SDN 4 Bonepantai menunjukkan rendahnya kedisiplinan siswa kelas V pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) akibat dominasi metode pembelajaran yang monoton. Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya peningkatan disiplin belajar siswa melalui implementasi model Cooperative Learning tipe Time Token yang dirancang untuk melatih manajemen bicara dan tanggung jawab. Menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), studi ini melibatkan 15 siswa dan dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang mencakup perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan secara bertahap; pada siklus I pertemuan pertama, tingkat kedisiplinan siswa hanya mencapai 27% (4 siswa) dan meningkat menjadi 40% (6 siswa) pada pertemuan kedua. Tren positif berlanjut pada siklus II, di mana pertemuan pertama mencatat angka 67% (10 siswa) dan mencapai target keberhasilan pada pertemuan kedua dengan 80% (12 siswa) siswa telah memenuhi indikator kedisiplinan. Simpulan utama penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan model Time Token terbukti efektif dalam membangun kedisiplinan belajar, mengatur partisipasi aktif, serta meningkatkan kepatuhan siswa terhadap aturan dalam pembelajaran PKn.

Abstract

Civic Education at the elementary level plays a strategic role in shaping students’ character, civic awareness, and democratic competence, while textbooks as primary learning resources strongly influence how civic values are framed, understood, and practiced. This study is novel in providing one of the first systematic, cross-national comparative analyses of Indonesian and Thai elementary Civic Education textbooks, integrating textbook content analysis with teacher perspectives to reveal divergent civic paradigms in Southeast Asia. Employing a qualitative descriptive design with a comparative content analysis approach, six officially approved textbooks were examined using an analytic matrix encompassing curriculum alignment, language readability, appropriateness of illustrations, and representation of civic values; these findings were triangulated with thematic analysis of responses from 25 Indonesian elementary teachers. The results indicate that Indonesian textbooks demonstrate relatively strong curriculum alignment, employ communicative language and contextual illustrations, and integrate Pancasila-based values through everyday narratives, although conceptual depth remains uneven across grade levels and often requires teacher adaptation. In contrast, Thai textbooks emphasize social harmony, loyalty, and national identity through more formal language and limited visual scaffolding. Overall, the findings reveal contrasting paradigms in textbook design: Indonesia is moving toward student-centered, competency-oriented civic learning, whereas Thailand remains largely normative and state-centered. The implications underscore the need for more consistent conceptual depth, multimodal resources, and structured opportunities for critical engagement so that Civic Education textbooks become more contextual, inclusive, and pedagogically robust in supporting contemporary goals of democratic citizenship education.
