Abstract

Vibrio sp merupakan bakteri patogen yang terdapat pada tambak udang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara quorum sensing rate dengan kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp di tambak udang vaname (L. vannamei). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desain kausal ex-pose facto dengan purposive sampling. Kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp sebenarnya berfluktuasi dengan peningkatan tertinggi pada akhir siklus budidaya udang. Kelimpahan fluktuasi bakteri Vibrio sp juga terdeteksi pada hasil analisis pemodelan dinamis. Dari hasil analisis pemodelan dinamik terlihat bahwa fluktuasi kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp berkorelasi dengan kemampuan quorum sensing bakteri dan kelimpahan biomassa bakteri di perairan tambak. Selain itu, kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp juga berkorelasi dengan kelimpahan bahan organik di perairan tambak yang digambarkan dengan grafik berosilasi. Dalam analisis pemodelan dinamik juga digambarkan bahwa tingkat beban limbah di perairan tambak akan terus meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya umur budidaya udang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp di tambak memiliki model yang sama dengan kondisi eksisting, dan kelimpahan bakteri Vibrio sp juga mempengaruhi quorum sensing rate dengan menggambarkan model fluktuasi dari grafik pemodelan yang sama.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan industri perikanan adalah peningkatan volume ekspor produk perikanan ke berbagai negara tujuan. Karantina ikan memiliki peranan penting dalam menjamin keamanan produk perikanan yang diekspor. Mengingat permintaan negara-negara pengimpor lobster yang hingga saat ini belum terpenuhi, harga lobster akan cenderung meningkat. Hal ini merupakan peluang bagi para nelayan dan pembudidaya untuk mengembangkan usaha penangkapan dan budidaya lobster untuk di ekspor dengan memperhatikan standar kesehatan dan keamanan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan instalansi karantina ikan (IKI) dan proses ekspor lobster laut di perusahaan Bumi Pertiwi. Metode deskriptif digunakan melalui pengamatan dan wawancara langsung. Hasil menunjukkan Perusahaan Bumi Pertiwi telah menerapkan Cara Karantina Ikan yang Baik (CKIB) dan memiliki sertifikat IKI dengan grade B dari BKIPM. Sarana meliputi 30 bak karantina, laboratorium, dan fasilitas penunjang seperti genset dan limbah cair. Pemasukan lobster laut dilakukan sortasi dan karantina intensif kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana utama, selama beberapa hari sebelum pengemasan rapat berdasarkan standar tujuan ekspor. Sehingga diharapkan penyebaran penyakit yang berbahaya dapat ditekan agar kualitas dan kuantitas tercukupi dan mendukung kegiatan penangkapan dan budidaya lobster. Selain itu, persentase margin terbesar berada pada sektor ekspor dengan nilai 0,97% dibandingkan nelayan atau pembudidaya serta pengumpul.

Abstract

The flood disaster in the coastal area of Pekalongan City resulted in stagnant water, thus impacting the livelihoods of the community previously. The adaptation that has been made to deal with these conditions is by cultivating saline tilapia. Feed is the most important factor in supporting the growth of saline tilapia production. However, research on feed quality and frequency that has been carried out for tilapia production has not been optimal in obtaining the results obtained. This study aims to determine the effect of different feeding rates on growth performance, feed utilization and survival rate of tilapia reared in stagnant brackish water. The study consisted of feeding rates of 3%, 5%, 7% and 9% with three replications, and parameters were observed every seven days. Based on the research results it is known that the optimal feeding rate in saline tilapia culture ranges from 6.67% - 7% based on growth parameters. Although the other parameters do not show the same feeding rate as the growth parameter, these parameters are still in a good range for saline tilapia culture.

Abstract

Silvofishery is an aquaculture concept that is integrated with the mangrove ecosystem. The concept of silvofishery cultivation is an environmental conservation model combined with the use of an integrated fish cultivation model. This silvofishery concept is very good to be developed in coastal waters. The hope is that in the future there will be activities to develop field class programs for silvofishery cultivation with various empowerment topics. The aim of this service is to make efforts to increase understanding and insight for fish farmers in Degayu Village regarding the silvofishery cultivation system which is carried out using the field class concept.  The method used is community empowerment through practical education about silvofishery cultivation. Furthermore, in this practice, an impact analysis was also carried out by distributing participant response questionnaires. Next, the data from the questionnaire was analyzed descriptively. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in the ability and insight of fish farmers regarding silvofishery cultivation techniques by 40%, knowledge about feeding management by 80%, knowledge about water quality management by 40% and ability regarding feeding practices by 30%. This means that this silvofishery cultivation field class activity is very progressive in improving the quality of human resources for fish farmers. This silvofishery cultivation field class activity is also interesting enough to increase interest in aquaculture literacy for fish farmers. This cultivation field class model is highly recommended to always be carried out consistently as a form of knowledge transfer effort between practitioners (academics) and the program beneficiary audience. From this service activity it can be concluded that the service activity has had an impact on increasing understanding and insight for cultivators in the technical fields of silvofishery cultivation, feeding management, water quality management, and comprehensive technical feeding practices.

Abstract

Degayu Village is one of the coastal areas affected by tidal flooding, which has closed most of the areas in the area. The surrounding community felt various losses, such as loss of jobs, housing and residence. So far, community land covered by water has not been utilized properly. An alternative solution of sea bass aquaculture could be the answer, because the advantages of sea bass make it possible to cultivate it in this location. Therefore, this community service aims to provide alternative solutions for utilizing flooded land. So that people can carry out cultivation activities independently and profitably. This community service activity method is carried out through counseling and providing demonstration plots, using step net cages as containers and sea bass for biota aquaculture. The results of the activity showed good understanding from the participants after the counseling was carried out with a percentage increase in understanding of 53.3%. Apart from that, this activity is really needed by the community which can be seen from the enthusiasm of the questions asked as well as the readiness to install equipment for the plot demonstration. The results of one week's rearing of sea bass aquaculture also showed good conditions. This condition can be seen from the growth of cultivated biota and the healthy physical condition of the fish. The conclusion of this service is that it is effective because it can provide knowledge and alternative efforts to participants regarding sea bass aquaculture.
