Abstract

Current technological advances have a significant impact. All conveniences can be obtained with this progress, including in the business of buying and selling goods. On the other hand, advances in digitalization have made businesses look empty due to the decline in consumers shopping in person. The aim of this research is to explore the toughness of MSME traders around the Suramadu bridge on the Madura side. The method used is descriptive-qualitative. The informant criteria used were two small and medium-sized traders around the Suramadu bridge on the Madura side. The results of the analysis show that MSME traders around the Suramadu Bridge on the Madura side have good resilience amidst the rise of e-commerce. All existing aspects, namely control, commitment, and challenge, are classified as good and show toughness and tenacity in carrying out their activities. Keywords: Hardiness, E-commerce, UMKM Traders

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the narcissistic picture of young women who use Instagram. Instagram is a social media that can share all activities in the form of photos, videos and words. Narcissistic behavior is behavior that tends to pride itself excessively in order to gain recognition from others. The research method uses descriptive qualitative related to understanding the tendency of narcissistic behavior through Instagram social media. Participants are 18-year-old high school (SMA) girls. The results showed that the tendency of narcissistic behavior for young women who use Instagram, namely likes to upload photos and videos of themselves, shows a good impression and image in cyberspace, is proud and happy when they have lots of likes and followers, shows feeling superior, participants feel if they are attractive compared to their friends. friend, sensitive to criticism. There are factors that can contribute to the behavior of narcissistic tendencies, including lack of attention, influence of friends, frequency of using social media, the desire to show existence.

Abstract

Bedtime storytelling is an oral tradition that has been passed down for generations. Many previous studies have found the benefits of storytelling, which is usually given to children at bedtime. Some of them are: (1) Fostering a proactive attitude; (2) Strengthening the relationship between parents and children; (3) Increasing knowledge; (4) Training concentration; (5) Increasing vocabulary; (6) Fostering interest in reading; (7) Triggering children's critical thinking; (8) Stimulating children's imagination, fantasy, and creativity; and (9) Providing lessons without seeming patronizing. However, behind the various benefits of bedtime storytelling, with the development of technology, especially media using the internet, the question arises, is bedtime storytelling still effective today? The purpose of this study is to find out whether storytelling before bed is effective for children. The research was conducted by distributing Questionnaires of Children's Activities Listening to Fairy Tales in the form of google forms. The results showed 139 respondents (90.3%) answeredyes, 13 respondents (8.4%) answered neutral, and 2 respondents (1.3%) answered no. Based on the results, it can be said that storytelling before bedtime is still effective. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that storytelling (before bed) is still effective, especially to improve children's language skills.

Abstract

The pregnancy process causes pregnant women to experience physiological and psychological changes during pregnancy, which make them uncomfortable and experience emotional changes. There are many problems that pregnant women may face, including dealing with the birthing process and anxiety during pregnancy. This anxiety is influenced by several factors, one of which is the maternal age. The aim of this research is to analyze differences in anxiety of pregnant women in facing childbirth based on the maternal age. The research method used in this research is descriptive-quantitative. The research sample consisted of pregnant women who had their pregnancy checked at RSIA dr. Hikmah Sawi Bangkalan. The total sample for this study was 50 pregnant women. Data collection on the anxiety variable facing childbirth used the PASS scale (Perinatal Anxiety Screening Scale). Data were analyzed using the one-way Anova test to determine differences in pregnant women's anxiety about facing childbirth in terms of maternal age. The results of the research show that there is a significant difference between maternal age and pregnant women's anxiety about facing childbirth.

Abstract

Effective communication training enhances the soft skills of vocational high school students by fostering the development of communication skills, a crucial component of the soft skills that employers increasingly demand. This training aims to equip and prepare students to face the demands of the world of work. The training method used is to combine theoretical and practical approaches, including simulations, group discussions, and exercises as a form of evaluation. Through this training, students gain an understanding of increasing self-confidence, the ability to work in a team, and the skills to convey ideas effectively. The results of this training are expected to provide a significant increase in students' communication skills, which in turn will increase competitiveness in the world of work when they graduate later.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui efektivitas pemberian dongeng dengan media boneka dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa pada anak prasekolah etnis Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen. Penelitian ini melibatkan 20 anak didik dari TK Islam Anak Soleh Kabupaten Bangkalan. Penelitian dilakukan selama 1 minggu dengan memberikan perlakuan berupa pemberian dongeng berbahasa Madura dengan media boneka. Metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tes Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT) yang diadaptasi dalam Bahasa Madura. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS 26,0 for Windows dengan uji statistik Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pemberian dongeng menggunakan media boneka dengan kemampuan berbahasa pada anak prasekolah etnis Madura, nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) adalah 0.941 (p>0.05). Beberapa faktor yang diduga dapat memengaruhi hasil penelitian yaitu kurangnya keterlibatan anak-anak saat didongengi, terbatasnya kreativitas pendongeng, pelatihan pendongeng yang kurang memadai, dan kurangnya variasi dongeng.
