Abstract

This research endeavors to delve into the multifaceted role of Augmented Reality (AR) as a pivotal marketing tool within the evolving landscape of the retail sector in the aftermath of the pandemic. The research methodology adopted encompasses a quantitative approach, employing the robust Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) - Partial Least Squares (PLS) model. The process of data acquisition unfolded through a meticulously crafted online survey utilizing a Google Form-based questionnaire. The survey garnered responses from a diverse sample of 100 individuals who had actively engaged with AR features in their retail product purchases on at least two occasions. The research findings cast a spotlight on the considerable potential that AR holds in not only augmenting customer satisfaction but also in wielding influence over consumer purchasing behavior within the context of the post-pandemic retail sector. The implications drawn from these findings are transformative, suggesting that retail entities possess the capacity to strategically optimize AR technology as a dynamic and effective marketing tool. This optimization, in turn, stands poised to elevate consumer experiences, amplify levels of customer satisfaction, and catalyze the overall growth trajectory of businesses operating within the retail sector. The study introduces the concept of "Augmented Optimization Marketing," providing a nuanced perspective on the strategic utilization of AR in enhancing marketing endeavors. In essence, this research paints a comprehensive panorama of the strategic significance of AR in shaping the future landscape of retail marketing. JEL Classification: D12, M31, C83, L81, O33

Abstract

In the modern business landscape, traditional methods of understanding consumer behavior are constrained by time, cost, and depth limitations. The emergence of Digital Twins, which are virtual replicas created through real-time data integration and advanced algorithms, has fundamentally transformed how we perceive consumer behavior and market responses. This study aims to address challenges related to data security and privacy, exploring potential solutions within the context of applying Digital Twins in drive-thru services. Using a quantitative approach with a sample size of 2000 American drive-thru service customers, the research employs SEM-PLS for data analysis. Online questionnaires are distributed through Triaba to collect targeted data. The findings indicate that while process efficiency in drive-thru services has little impact on service quality, Digital Twins can still lead to waiting times that challenge customer expectations. Although limited to America, this research confirms the significant role of Digital Twins in enhancing drive-thru service efficiency and customer satisfaction, providing valuable insights for users and system integrators during implementation.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in the global economy, employing nearly 90% of the workforce and contributing nearly 50% of the world's gross domestic product. However, many MSMEs have difficulty finding and retaining repeat customers, which is one of the main challenges for small businesses. This study aims to find out how customer data can be used to improve marketing strategies and meet customer needs and preferences more effectively. This research also aims to provide solutions and recommendations for MSMEs to improve their marketing through personalizing the experience for their customers. This study uses the SEM-PLS method with a quantitative approach. The population is taken from SMEs operating in the city of Semarang. 100 Samples are determined through Quota Sampling. Personalized marketing involves using customer data to customize the customer experience, which can create a closer relationship between customers and MSMEs. This research is still limited to the effectiveness of Personalized Marketing on customer loyalty in MSMEs. There have been many studies that discuss MSME customer loyalty with the marketing communication method. However, there are not many studies that specifically discuss personalized marketing for MSMEs.

Abstract

In business, understanding consumers is paramount. Digital Twins technology provides virtual representations of consumers and real-time insights. This study evaluates the implementation of Digital Twins in drive-thru services, focusing on efficiency and user experience. A survey was conducted with 2000 drive-thru consumers in the US and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings of this study indicate the significance of Digital Twins in purchase accuracy, interactivity, and satisfaction. The importance of strategic implementation is highlighted to maximize benefits and offer a framework for secure implementation. Limitations of this research include geographical constraints of the respondents, data collection methods, and limitations in relevant literature due to the new nature of Digital Twins technology in the context of drive-thru services. Future research needs to explore cross-cultural comparative research, longitudinal studies, and mixed-methods approaches to further understand the impact of this technology.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of work pressure, digital fatigue, and work-life balance on the productivity and well-being of the sandwich generation in the context of work from home (WFH). The research approach uses an explanatory quantitative method involving 582 respondents who have been working remotely for at least one year. Data were collected through an online survey using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The results of this study reveal that work pressure, digital fatigue, and work-life balance (WLB) serve as significant mediators of the productivity of the sandwich generation in the WFH context. The findings indicate that the sandwich generation, who face dual demands, is vulnerable to stress and burnout in a virtual work environment. This study also identifies the need for flexible work policies, psychological support, and time management training to mitigate the negative impacts of digital fatigue. The contribution of this research lies in its specific focus on the sandwich generation, filling the gap in the literature regarding the impact of digital fatigue in the WFH context. The practical implications suggest that organizations should develop more inclusive strategies to support employee well-being in the digital era. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for further studies on the impact of technology and changing work patterns on the mental and emotional well-being of workers, especially within the context of the sandwich generation. Keywords: sandwich generation; digital fatigue; virtual office; work from home. Kata kunci: generasi sandwich; kelelahan digital; kantor virtual; work from home.
