Abstract

Fraudulent insurance claims pose a significant challenge to the sustainability and efficiency of insurance systems, resulting in substantial financial losses and eroding trust between insurers and policyholders. The complexity and volume of modern data make traditional fraud detection methods, such as manual assessments, increasingly ineffective. This study investigates the application of machine learning approaches, including Random Forest and Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), to detect fraud in insurance claims. Using a structured methodology, models were trained on historical claim data and evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, F1-score, recall, and precision. The Random Forest algorithm achieved an accuracy of 94%, while the ANN demonstrated superior performance on controlled datasets. Feature importance analysis identified key predictors, including claim amount and submission frequency, offering actionable insights for fraud prevention strategies. The integration of machine learning into claims management systems provides a scalable, accurate, and cost-effective solution to combating fraud. Future research will focus on testing with larger datasets and exploring hybrid approaches to enhance robustness and adaptability.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Quizizz in enhancing learners' motivation and engagement in the learning process. The study seeks to provide educators with insights into the benefits and positive impacts of incorporating gamification in teaching. The materials for this study include academic journal literature related to the use of Quizizz in education. Literature sources were obtained from academic databases such as Google Scholar and Mendeley. This research is limited to literature published within the last five years to ensure the relevance and currency of the findings. It focuses on studies discussing the use of Quizizz in educational contexts. Based on the analysis of several studies, it can be concluded that Quizizz effectively enhances students' motivation and engagement in learning.

Abstract

The digital era presents new opportunities in education, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies like ChatGPT. This study explores students' perceptions of using ChatGPT in face-to-face learning through a literature review approach. The analysis draws on various reliable sources, including scientific journals, books, and relevant research reports. The findings suggest that ChatGPT is beneficial for helping students understand materials, complete tasks, and enhance their learning motivation. Additionally, it is considered user-friendly due to its simple interface and quick response times. However, several challenges were identified, including limited digital literacy, the risk of receiving inaccurate information, and the potential misuse of the tool as a shortcut, bypassing deeper engagement with learning materials. The study concludes that ChatGPT holds significant potential to support face-to-face learning, especially when used responsibly under teacher guidance. To maximize its effectiveness, efforts should focus on improving students' digital literacy, establishing clear usage policies, and providing structured guidance during the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract — Netflix is a pioneer in the video on demand subscription platform in Indonesia and remains the most popular video streaming service in the world, but Netflix has been forced to relinquish its position as the SVOD provider with the highest subscribers to become the fourth position in Indonesia. The SI DeLone and McLean success model modified by Hudin and Riana in 2016 is used in this study to determine Netflix's success factors and can be used for sustainability progress. The Smart PLS software program was used to evaluate survey data from 410 respondents, which indicated that information quality had a significant effect on system usage (Statistics T=2.85; P-Values=0.005; F-Square=0.023) and user satisfaction ( Statistics T=2.927; P-Values=0.004; F-Square=0.024). However, the quality of the system has no significant effect on system use (T-Statistics=2.628; P-Values=0.009; F-Square=0.018) but has a significant effect on user satisfaction (T-Statistics=5.219; P-Values =0.000; F-Square = 0.086). In addition, service quality has a significant effect on system usage (T-Statistics=3.447; P-Values=0.001; F-Square=0.032) and user satisfaction (T-Statistics=3.654; P-Values=0.000; F-Square = 0.043 ). The use of the system also has a significant effect on net benefits (Statistics T=6.625; P-Values=0.000; F-Square=0.16) and user satisfaction (Statistics-T=7.417; P-Value=0.000; F-Square= 0, 14). The last factor is user satisfaction which has a significant effect on net profit (T-Statistics=6.509; P-Values=0.000; F-Square=0.124). Suggestions for further research are to develop a model with other models to achieve better research results and to find out more independent variables that influence the success rate of the Netflix platform in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the driving factors that can influence individuals in using mutual funds Bibit application. The proposed model has factors from the The theory of technology adoption (TAM) is implemented in this study to analyze how technology adoption of online mutual fund investment with millennial as the main object of research. This research is a quantitative research with a survey method by distributing online questionnaires. Sampling using purposive sampling method. This study Used 5 internal variables and 3 external variables which are Perceived Security, Perceived Trust and User Interface After gathering 168 data respondents, it is found that there are several factors that have positive significance to Actual System Use to adopt online mutual fund application, namely Perceived Security, User Interface, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of use, Attitude Toward Use and Behavioral Intention to Use. Meanwhile, Perceived Trust have no significance to Actual System Usage of Bibit application. This finding will be useful for online mutual fund application developers to transform conventional mutual fund to online platforms format.

Abstract

Retaining customers is considered important compared to attracting new customers, because it can be considered cheaper than attracting customers who have left, customer loyalty will reduce bank costs to find new customers. Therefore, customer satisfaction and loyalty are very important for the banking world. This can be measured using the TAM method. Customers will be very satisfied and loyal to a bank, but will also quickly move to another bank that can provide better satisfaction than other banks. For this reason, it is necessary to periodically improve mobile banking service facilities as factors of customer interest in performing self-service.

Abstract

This study evaluates the impact of integrated digital personnel systems namely SIASN, MyASN, and MOLA on administrative efficiency within Indonesia’s civil service. These platforms were introduced as part of a broader e government reform initiative designed to simplify civil servant workflows, reduce delays, and improve transparency. This study specifically evaluates whether the systems shorten turnaround time (TAT) for services including promotions, retirements, and inter-agency transfers. Employing a Difference in Differences (DiD) approach, this research analyzes panel data from regional civil service offices, comparing outcomes in treated and control regions before and after the implementation of digital systems in late 2022. Data sources include timestamped service records from MOLA, performance reports (LKjIP and LAKIP), and SPBE index scores as a proxy for digital readiness. Key outcomes assessed include average TAT and the percentage of services completed within national performance benchmarks. The findings reveal a statistically significant reduction in TAT across all service categories in treated regions. Retirement processing times dropped by an average of 3.4 days, while promotion and transfer services saw reductions of 1.7 and 2.0 days respectively. The percentage of on time promotions increased by 26.4%. Results were more pronounced in regions with higher SPBE scores, underscoring the importance of institutional digital capacity. Robustness checks affirmed the reliability of the findings across various model specifications. The study concludes that digital personnel systems substantially enhance administrative performance when supported by institutional capacity and strategic implementation frameworks. These findings provide actionable insights for policymakers seeking to scale digital reforms across the public sector. By reinforcing efficiency, accountability, and responsiveness, integrated systems represent a critical step toward modernizing governance in Indonesia.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami Sistem Manajemen Keamanan Informasi berdasarkan ISO/IEC 27001:2013, untuk mengetahui karakteristik keamanan informasi dan pada industri manufaktur yang sedang bertransformasi menuju teknologi Industri 4.0, untuk mengetahui persyaratan ISO/IEC klausul 27001:2013 yang telah dipenuhi, baik dari segi framework (kebijakan dan prosedur) maupun aspek penerapannya serta memahami penerapan Sistem Manajemen Keamanan Informasi berdasarkan SNI ISO/IEC 27001:2013 pada industri manufaktur yang sedang menuju Industri 4.0 (Smart Factory), khususnya dalam operasional Data Center. Untuk mengukur tingkat kematangan keamanan informasi digunakan metode Indeks KAMI. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan gap analysis dan pendekatan PDCA (Plan – Do – Check – Act) dengan mengikuti tahapan sesuai dengan ketentuan ISO/IEC 27001:2013. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology can make it easier for anyone to obtain, process, and disseminate various information systems. Information system security is an important aspect in maintaining information confidentiality. One way to maintain the security of information systems is by conducting risk management. The goal of risk management is to control and lessen the likelihood of risks that could jeopardize information system security. This research aims to carry out a risk management process in one of the government agencies in Indonesia by controlling mitigation that refers to ISO / IEC 27001: 2022. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). The results of this study were the discovery of 15 risks, 50 risk threats, and 15 impacts caused by the risk. This research resulted in 42% of the risks falling into a moderate impact.
