Abstract

Education in Indonesia has experienced various changes, in the form of policies or laws. Islamic education is an important part of indonesia’s journey to independence. Issues regarding the legality and role of religion in the national education system are then rexognized and can be applied at every level of education. This article aims to understand the history and system of Islamic education since independence, the new order and the reform era. This article is library education in Indonesia has experienced various changes, in the form of policies or laws, Islamic research where the author collects data from various references. The results of this research state the role and position of Islamic education and make the position of relegius education ( including Islamic education) an intergral part of the national education system. This law as the starting point for the revival of Islamic education within the framework of equal education policies.

Abstract

Artikel ini dilatar belakangi oleh pentingnya penilaian dalam ranah keterampilan. Dalam pelaksanaan penilaian hasil belajar psikomotor dapat dilakukan dengan tes perbuatan atau tes unjuk kerja (test kinerja) atas keterampilan yang telah dikuasai peserta didik. Penilaian unjuk kerja merupakan penilaian yang dilakukan dengan mengamati kegiatan peserta didik dalam melakukan sesuatu. Penilaian ini cocok digunakan untuk menilai ketercapaian kompetensi yang menuntut peserta didik melakukan tugas tertentu seperti: praktik sholat, praktik olahraga, bermain peran. Teknik dan instrumen evaluasi hasil belajar psikomotor yaitu skala penilaian, daftar cek, dan Catatan Anekdotal (Catatan Kejadian). Analisis instrumen evaluasi hasil belajar psikomotor dapat juga dijelaskan secara teoriti (analisis kualitatif) maupun secara empiris (analisis kuantitatif).

Abstract

The Nine-Year Compulsory Education Policy in Indonesia aims to enhance access to and quality of basic education for all school-aged children. This study aims to analyze the perceptions of teachers and parents regarding this policy and to identify the factors influencing their views. The research methodology employed includes both quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data were collected through questionnaires and in-depth interviews with teachers and parents in several regions of Indonesia. The analysis techniques used include frequency distribution, percentages and averages to describe teachers' and parents' perceptions of the 9 Year Compulsory Education policy. The results indicate that the majority of teachers and parents support this policy, despite some challenges in its implementation. Factors such as economic conditions, accessibility to education, and the quality of educational facilities influence their perceptions. The recommendations from this study include increased policy socialization, provision of adequate educational facilities, and enhancement of teacher competencies.

Abstract

The factors causing the low quality of education in Indonesia are largely attributed to the disproportionate role given to schools, the lack of adequate learning planning, the implementation of learning that is not optimal, the ineffective management of the curriculum system, and the application of learning outcome measurements that focus on cognitive aspects. This study aims to describe the implementation of project-based learning in supporting the achievement of curriculum objectives in the Pancasila profile strengthening project at Samirono State Elementary School, Yogyakarta Special Region. The approach in this research uses qualitative with case study method. The data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data using observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The technique to ensure data validity is using data triangulation. While the data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which goes through three stages, namely data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The result of this study is the implementation of project-based learning is an appropriate learning model to achieve curriculum objectives related to the development of potential and the development of Pancasila student profiles.

Abstract

The effort to meet the target material according to the applicable curriculum often leads to a learning approach that focuses on the quantity of material taught rather than ensuring that students truly understand each concept taught. The essentialist principles advocate for a focus on the comprehension of key concepts rather than mere breadth of content. Amid discussions on various learning approaches in science education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, questions arise regarding the relevance and application of essentialist principles. This research aims to explore the implementation of essentialist principles in science education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The study took place at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Qomar in Palembang. The method employed was a qualitative approach with data collection conducted through interviews. Data analysis followed the framework outlined by Miles and Huberman. The findings of this research can be summarized as follows: the implementation of essentialist principles in science education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has a significantly positive impact. The application of essentialist principles assists students in gaining a deeper understanding of fundamental science concepts, focusing on core knowledge and skills, and enhancing their interest in the subject. Therefore, this approach can serve as a strong foundation for improving the quality of basic education in the field of science.

Abstract

Indonesia has diverse ethnic groups, religions, and cultures. This diversity can trigger identity conflicts if not appropriately managed; therefore, a non-extreme understanding is required. One of the obligations of university students is to carry out community service, including efforts to strengthen religious moderation. This community service's purpose is to explore efforts to strengthen religious moderation through the Safari Ramadan activities conducted by the Special Student Activity Unit for the Institute for Quranic Recitation Development and Da'wah (UKMK LPTQ & D) at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang and its implications for the community, the campus, and members of UKMK LPTQ & D. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews and observations, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with students and community members. Based on the findings, the efforts to strengthen religious moderation during the Ramadan Safari activities reached all age groups, including children, adolescents, youth, and adults. These efforts were implemented through various programs, such as religious moderation seminars, religious moderation studies in mosques, religious moderation quiz competitions, and training on religious moderation for adolescents and youth. Keywords: Religious moderation, Safari Ramadhan, University student Abstrak: Indonesia memiliki beragam suku, agama, dan budaya. Keberagaman ini dapat memicu konflik identitas apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik. Untuk menghadapinya, diperlukan pemahaman yang tidak ekstrem. Salah satu kewajiban mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi adalah melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, antara lain dalam hal penguatan moderasi beragama. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah mengungkap upaya penguatan moderasi beragama dalam kegiatan Safari Ramadhan yang dilaksanakan oleh Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Khusus Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur'an dan Dakwah (UKMK LPTQ & D) UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, serta implikasinya terhadap masyarakat, kampus, dan anggota UKMK LPTQ & D. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Wawancara dilakukan secara semiterstruktur terhadap mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, penguatan moderasi beragama dalam kegiatan Safari Ramadhan menjangkau semua kelompok usia, mulai dari anak-anak, remaja, pemuda, hingga orang tua. Upaya penguatan moderasi beragama dilakukan melalui berbagai program, seperti seminar moderasi beragama, kajian moderasi beragama di masjid, lomba cerdas cermat moderasi beragama, dan pelatihan moderasi beragama bagi remaja serta pemuda.
