Abstract

Social media has a very important role in social relations in the digital era like today. Social media in social relations refers to the use of social media platforms to interact and communicate with other people. Social media allows individuals to interact with people from various backgrounds and expand their social networks. Apart from that, social media can also influence individuals' behavior and communication patterns in their social relationships. The use of social media can have positive impacts such as facilitating interaction and expanding relationships, but it can also have negative impacts such as spreading misinformation and decreasing privacy. The positive and negative impacts of social media must be taken into account. This research aims to analyze the influence of social media on social relationships in the digital era. The research method uses qualitative methods with a literature study type of research. The research results: 1) Increased interaction and use of social media, 2) Changes in communication patterns, 3) Positive and negative impacts of Social Media. Social media has a significant influence on social relationships in the digital era. As a researcher or user of social media, it is important to understand its impact and use it wisely

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the application of the Discovery Learning learning model with the research subjects of students in class X.3 UPT SMA Negeri 6 Maros, totaling 28 students. The type of research used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). This research takes the form of a cyclical assessment process consisting of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data regarding student activities during the teaching and learning process and the teacher's ability to manage learning were collected using observation sheets. And data regarding student learning outcomes is collected by giving a learning outcomes test at the end of each cycle. The results of observations in the first cycle of learning results by applying the Discovery Learning learning model showed that learning completion reached 14.3% or 4 students out of 28 students had completed learning. The results of observations in cycle II of completeness of learning outcomes reached 35.8% or 10 students out of 28 students had completed their studies. From the results of the actions in cycle I and cycle II, it was concluded that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model could improve student learning outcomes at UPT SMA Negeri 6 Maros for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Providing motivation is something that is absolutely necessary for world campuses to increase learning motivation and learning outcomes. Internal and external motivation is a requirement that cannot be ignored. This study aims to analyze the causes of the increase in N-Act members of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar through PKM. The research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive analysis research types. The data was obtained through interviews with 5 students from Muhammadiyah Makassar University. Analysis of presentation of motivation is based on David McClelland's theory. The research results: 1) Achievement of N-Ach Through Student Creativity Programs, 2) Giving motivation encourages the desire to achieve, 3) The influence of providing information encourages students to achieve achievements. The implication of providing motivation is not only to increase interest in developing student creativity but also to create an atmosphere of competitive competition within the scope of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar

Abstract

This research holistically explores the role of innovation, cultural heritage, and identity in the context of maritime anthropology. The focus on fishing technology, cultural practices, and the influence of globalization provides a profound understanding of the dynamics of coastal community life. The research findings also identify interactions among communities, comprehending knowledge exchange and adaptation to sustain cultural heritage and innovation. Additionally, the inclusion of contributions from previous research enriches the understanding of community participation in coastal development programs. These findings establish a solid foundation for the preservation of cultural heritage and a deep understanding of coastal community life.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activeness of students' critical thinking in Sociology Learning by applying the Problem-Based Learning Model. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPS 1 at SMA Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar with a total of 17 students, consisting of 8 male students and 9 female students. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative using a class action research design consisting of two cycles. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, student learning outcomes tests, and field notes. In this study, a multiple choice test was conducted at the end of the cycle. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 60 and an average percentage value of 60%, while the classical completeness of 60% was in the sufficient category and continued in the next cycle in cycle II action obtained an average of 83 .0, the average percentage gain is 83.0% with 90% classical completeness in the very good category. The results of the data on cycle II activities have fulfilled the KKM which has been determined by the student learning outcomes in thematic learning obtained by cycle I and cycle II indicating that there has been an average increase of 30%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the problem-based learning model can increase the activeness of critical thinking in learning Sociology in class X IPS 1 at Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar High School in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

Abstract

Pemilihan umum adalah pesta demokrasi untuk memilih calon pemimpin yang tepat untuk memimpin.Oleh karena itu, masyarakat harus sadar politik dan berpartisipasi dalam proses politik. Pemilihan 2024 akan datang dengan semua masalah dan perubahannya. Pemilihan 2024 mengalami banyak kontroversi, yang membuat pemilih pemula kesulitan menghadapinya. Oleh karena itu, peneliti tertarik mengkaji tinjauan sosiologis pemilih pemula untuk menghadapi transformasi pemilu 2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kajian tinjauan sosiologis tentang pem- ilih pemula dalam konteks tantangan transformasi Pemilu 2024 dapat mem- bantu kita memahami lebih baik bagaimana pemilih pemula berpikir, bersikap, dan bertindak secara politik. Ini mencakup banyak hal, termasuk kesadaran politik dan pendidikan, efek lingkungan sosial, interaksi di media sosial dan online, partisipasi politik aktif, tantangan dengan media dan informasi, dan ketidaksetaraan dalam akses dan partisipasi. Hasilnya dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan metode pendidikan pemilih, meningkatkan demokrasi, dan meningkatkan partisipasi pemilih pemula dalam proses pemilihan umum. pendekatan studi kepustakaan atau library research dan kualitatif deskriptif.
