Abstract

The use of multiple-choice exam questions in academic evaluations in schools is often fraudulent, such as cheating or student cooperation, which can reduce the validity of the assessment. This application is designed to randomize the order of questions and answer options automatically, so that each student gets a different question. Using qualitative methods based on black box testing and white box testing using laptop hardware, smartphones, and Windows 10, XAMPP, MySQL, and Visual Studio Code software. Test results show that this application is effective and efficient in randomizing questions and answer choices, minimizing cheating, preventing collaboration, and encouraging students to learn better.

Abstract

In this case the development of clothing from year to year changes in motifs from certain areas. Traditional batik has many types and motifs where each variation contains a meaning that reflects the art of its manufacture, thus leading to a special meaning that is good to see with the many other motifs and variations. This research method uses several sources from the library, references and materials related to this research. The formula is how to design an application that can be used as an interactive batik introduction and the implementation process of this introduction media application can be more interesting. Testing this application using the black box and white box testing methods, the test results are stated that the test has been successful. The results of this study are Image Processing Applications as a Media for Introduction to Batik Nusantara, which helps users in selecting or matching batik cloth models that have been provided by markers easily and attractively.

Abstract

The purpose of making an internet-based broiler chicken prototype system is the formation of a system that can regulate the temperature of the broiler chicken coop automatically by controlling the heating device and also the fan in the closed house-based broiler chicken coop. The other goal is a system that can control the water pump on broiler farms by turning it off automatically according to the condition of the tandom whether it is full or almost empty. In this study, researchers used a descriptive method. This internet of things based broiler farm prototype uses a DHT22 sensor to get the temperature and humidity values and also uses an ultrasonic sensor to get the water level value in the broiler farm air tank. As well as using Nodemcu ESP32 as a data processor and also using firebase cloud as a database. Based on the test, the resulting system can run well with an error rate for Ultrasonic sensors of 0.02% after 6 tests, for DHT22(temperature) sensors of 2.36% after 5 times of testing, for DHT22(humidity) sensors of 7 times. ,55% after 5 times of testing

Abstract

Dalam memproduksi ayam yang selama ini kita lihat dalam peternak ayam hanya fokus menggunakan produk pakan tertentu saja. Pakan dapat dinyatakan berkualitas baik apabila mampu memberikan seluruh kebutuhan nutrien secara tepat, baik jenis, jumlah, serta imbangan nutrien tersebut bagi ternak. Komponen nutrient tersebut sangat berpengaruh terhadap produksi ayam pedaging terutama untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi daging. Selain itu diperlukan bahan tambahan kedalam campuran pakan untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan daya tahan tubuh ayam pedaging. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui langkah-langkah penerapan metode Sugeno dalam sistem menentukan volume produksi ayam dengan memilih pakan ayam. Pembuatan sistem ini dengan menggunakan software Visual Studio Code sebagai editor serta merancang desain aplikasi dengan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan juga XAMPP sebagai databasenya. Menggunakan metode Sugeno untuk mengetahui menentukan volume produksi ayam dengan memilih pakan ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dapat membantu dalam mencari atau menentukan pakan yang baik digunakan sesuai kebutuhan dengan menampilkan merk pakan yang direkomendasikan dari proses pengujian metode Sugeno dengan melihat nilai tertinggi dari 3 nilai hasil pakan yang berbeda. Dapat dilihat bahwa pakan yang banyak direkomendasikan adalah pakan Japfa dengan presentase tertinggi yaitu 44,4%, pakan Pokphand 33,3% dan pakan Malindo 22,2%.

Abstract

Sebagian dari beberapa pelanggan atau vendor sering kali lupa akan kontrak yang telah di lakukan dengan PT. PLN sehingga mengakibatkan keterlambatan dalam pengurusan kontrak. Hal ini tentu dapat menghambat kerjasama antara dua pihak. Sehingga dalam hal ini penulis ingin membuat sistem monitoring kontrak PT. PLN UP3 Parepare berbasis web untuk menyelasaikan masalah dengan cara mengingatkan pelanggan tentang masa akhir kontrak mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini mencatat setiap pelangan yang dilakukan pekerja dimana dengan adanya sistem ini maka On Duty bisa menginput semua kontrak masuk yang dilakukan karyawannya dan secara otomatis pada setiap akhir tahun data – data laporan tersebut bisa direkap secara cepat menjadi sebuah laporan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Metode pembangunan sistem menggunakan model pengujian BlackBox dan WhiteBox, alat bantu analisis dan perancangan sistem informasi terstruktur diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP. Dengan adanya aplikasi sistem monitoring ini, diharapkan mempermudah karyawan PT. PLN UP3 Parepare dalam memonitoring pelanggan atau vendor yang terlah menjalin kerjasama.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini teknologi semakin canggih dan mempermudah para pengunanya dalam mengakses semua informasi yang ada bahkan sampai melakukan jual beli dalam sebuah wadah platform (E-commerce). Tujuan utama dari penelitian pada UKM kopiesme coffee adalah bagaimana membuat suatu wadah alternatif penjualan e-commerce UKM kopiesme yang berada di kota enrekang untuk memepermudah konsumen dalam memilih biji kopi sesuai dengan keinginannya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kab/kota enrekang di UKM kopiesme selama 2 bulan (desember 2021– februari 2022). Analisis pengambilan data menggunakan android dan metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan wawancara terhadap pihak pengelola UKM kopiesme coffee dan para pembeli yang sudah menjadi langganan tetap maupun belum di UKM kopiesme coffee. Adapun hasil dan kesimpulan yang di peroleh dalam penelitian terkait e-commerce pada UKM kopiesme yaitu telah dihasilkannya aplikasi e-commerce penjualan biji kopi berbasis android pada UKM kopiesme yang berisikan beberapa tampilan menu yaitu menu saya, menu jualan, menu beranda, menu keranjang dan menu live chat. Dimana menu yang terdapat dalam aplikasi e-commerce ini mempunyai beberapa fungsi masing-masing dalam setiap penggunaannya

Abstract

Computer Vision banyak diterapkan dalam bidang pertanian untuk mendeteksi penyakit tanaman secara otomatis. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan Algoritma Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) untuk mendeteksi penyakit pada tanaman cabai dan tomat. Aplikasi ini dibangun dengan HyperText Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Python, JavaScript, dan Flask, memungkinkan pengguna mengunggah gambar tanaman untuk diklasifikasikan. Model CNN mencapai akurasi pelatihan 91%. Saat diuji menggunakan dataset terpisah, model memperoleh akurasi tinggi. Namun, setelah diterapkan dalam aplikasi untuk deteksi nyata, akurasi menurun menjadi 75%, yang bisa disebabkan oleh kondisi pencahayaan, kualitas gambar, dan perbedaan dataset. Kesalahan untuk deteksi nyata terutama terjadi pada kelas Cabai Leaf Curl 50% dan Tomat Normal 40% dari masing-masing 10 kali uji deteksi sampel. Analisis kinerja model menggunakan precision, recall, dan F1-score menunjukkan bahwa Cabai Leaf Curl memiliki recall tertinggi sebesar 0.9619 dan memiliki precision tertinggi 0.9711. Sementara pada Tomat Late Blight mendapatkan skor terendah pada Recall 0.7594 dan F1-Score 0.8510, menunjukkan tantangan dalam klasifikasi. Analisis heatmap mengungkapkan bahwa model berfokus pada fitur gambar tertentu tetapi tidak selalu pada area penyakit. Peningkatan kinerja melalui optimasi preprocessing data, augmentasi gambar, dan arsitektur model yang lebih kompleks diperlukan untuk meningkatkan akurasi serta mengurangi kesalahan klasifikasi.

Abstract

This study investigates the accessibility of public spaces, particularly roads and sidewalks, for persons with disabilities in the city of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This research is driven by the critical need to create an inclusive environment that serves all individuals, emphasized by the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Indonesian Law No. 8/2016. The purpose of this research is to evaluate infrastructure, identify obstacles faced by individuals with disabilities, and propose a model of disability-friendly public spaces. We used case study methods, focusing on the city of Parepare which involve the collection of in-depth interview data with people with disabilities, public space managers, and government officials, direct observation of roads and sidewalks, and analysis of relevant policy and regulation. We used thematic analysis to analyze the collected data, identifying key themes related to accessibility challenges and potential solutions. These findings reveal that the streets and sidewalks of Parepare often lack adequate accessibility features, such as sufficient width, smooth surfaces, and clear signage. Obstacles such as utility poles and parked vehicles further hinder mobility. The implication is the need for improved infrastructure design, policy implementation, and public awareness to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. This study recommends enhancing collaboration with the disability community, conducting regular audits of public spaces, and implementing universal design principles to create an inclusive environment and make Parepare a Disability Smart City (DSC).

Abstract

The car wash service industry faces various operational challenges such as long queues, difficulty in finding a reliable location, and unclear information about prices and services. This study aims to optimize car wash services through a web-based booking system. This system allows customers to book services online, choose a convenient time, and make electronic payments, which can reduce waiting times and increase convenience. The research method used is a mixed approach, with data collection through surveys, interviews, and observations at several car wash locations. The results show that the implementation of a web-based booking system improves operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, especially in terms of ease of booking, speed of service, and quality of information provided. However, there is still room for improvement in terms of the timeliness of the wash and the quality of service results. This study also identifies factors that influence customer adoption of web-based systems, such as ease of use, perceived benefits, and social influence. In conclusion, the implementation of a web-based booking system has a positive impact on the performance of the car wash service business by improving operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and service quality.

Abstract

The increasing demand for efficient and reliable student attendance systems highlights the limitations of conventional manual methods, which are often time-consuming, prone to fraud, and lack accuracy. This study develops a real-time attendance system based on facial recognition using the YOLOv8 deep learning model integrated with TensorFlow. The system is designed to automatically detect and recognize students’ faces through a webcam and record attendance data in real time. The research method involved three main stages: face registration, model training, and attendance recording. A dataset of 4,200 face images from 14 students was collected to train the model. The recognition process used cosine similarity with a threshold of 0.7 to balance accuracy and avoid false recognition. The results showed that the system could effectively recognize student faces under varying lighting and expression conditions with high accuracy, while also recording attendance automatically and reliably. The system proved to be efficient in reducing time consumption, minimizing fraud, and ensuring more accurate attendance records. This study demonstrates that YOLOv8-based face recognition can provide an effective solution for modernizing school attendance management.
