Abstract

Not just a means of knowledge transformation, but the learning process of humanistic education is part of developing human values. This research uses a literature study method with a descriptive qualitative research type with library research which seeks to describe the role of humanistic learning theory and its application in learning. The theory of humanism, which was initiated by key figures such as Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers, has the main goal of encouraging human self-development towards autonomous self-actualization. The implementation of humanistic theory in education includes forming students with noble character, motivating students to learn actively, and creating an environment that supports students' positive self-development. The main aim of education by applying humanistic learning theory is to humanize humans.

Abstract

The current development of science is the result of the knowledge development carried out by previous scientists, including Al-Khwarizmi. One of the Muslim scientists who lived during the Abbasid era. He is a leading Muslim scientist who made many contributions to human civilization. As a great figure of his time, Al-Khwarizmi produced many monumental works. This article discusses Al-Khwarizmi's biography and his contribution to the development of science in the modern era. To obtain this information, researchers conducted a literature review related to the topic. The results of the literature review show that Al-Khwarizmi made many contributions and thoughts in the fields of mathematics and astronomy which are very helpful for the benefit and development of science in the modern era.

Abstract

The vocabulary of the Indonesian language has absorbed many words from foreign languages, one of which is Arabic. This vocabulary is spread across various aspects of Indonesian society. This research aims to understand the absorption of Arabic vocabulary into the Indonesian language in the state speeches of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo, during the annual session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR). The researcher employs a qualitative approach with a content analysis methodology. Data collection involves the use of documents, with the primary data source being the state speeches of the President of RI during the annual MPR sessions from 2020 to 2023. Data analysis follows Miles and Huberman's theory, including data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. Data validation is conducted through triangulation. The research findings indicate that the absorption of Arabic vocabulary into the Indonesian language in the state speeches of President RI Ir. Joko Widodo during the annual MPR sessions from 2020 to 2023 includes 79 loanwords. These consist of 22 words with similar sounds, 21 words with dissimilation, 6 words with metathesis, 1 word with diphthongization, and 15 words with anaptyxis. Meanwhile, zeroization includes 15 words, comprising 6 words with apheresis, 5 words with syncope, and 4 words with apocope. Abstrak Kosakata bahasa Indonesia banyak menyerap dari bahasa asing, salah satunya adalah bahasa Arab. Kosakata tersebut tersebar di seluruh aspek kehidupan masayarakat Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyerapan kosakata bahasa Arab menjadi bahasa Indonesia pada pidato kenegaraan Presiden Republik Indonesia Ir. Joko Widodo dalam sidang tahunan MPR. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumen. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa teks pidato kenegaraan Presiden RI dalam sidang tahunan MPR pada tahun 2020-2023. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan teori Miles dan Huberman yaitu penyajian data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyerapan kosakata bahasa Arab menjadi bahasa Indonesia pada teks pidato kenegaraan Presiden RI Ir. Joko Widodo dalam sidang tahunan MPR pada tahun 2020-2023 terdapat 79 kata serapan. Yaitu meliputi 22 kata serapan dengan bunyi yang sama, 21 kata desimilasi, 6 kata metatesis, 1 kata diftongisasi, dan 15 kata anaptiksis. Sedangkan pada zeroisasi terdapat 15 kata, dengan rincian 6 kata apheresis, 5 kata sinkop, dan 4 kata apokop.

Abstract

Assessment management is an important process that optimizes resources to achieve program goals effectively and efficiently. This research examines assessment management and further study. The method used is library research, with qualitative analysis of related literature. The results show that assessment management serves to measure the effectiveness of educational programs through accurate data. Assessment in the field of education, especially in guidance and counseling and further study selection, has a very important role, both to measure the success of the program and to help students make the right decisions regarding their further studies. The assessment mechanism is carried out to be able to ensure that the program runs effectively and further study decisions are made based on careful consideration.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply analyze gender issues in multicultural guidance and counseling practices in Indonesia and formulate a conceptual model of counseling that is gender-equitable and sensitive to the local cultural context. The research approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological design, with participants consisting of school counselors, guidance and counseling lecturers, and prospective counselor students who were purposively selected. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results showed that counselors' understanding of gender is still normative and influenced by cultural and religious values. Gender bias and stereotypes are still evident in counseling practices, while the counseling strategies applied tend to emphasize social harmony rather than individual empowerment. The main obstacle lies in the lack of training and institutional support for gender-perspective counseling. This study produces a conceptual model that integrates three main dimensions: counselors' awareness, knowledge, and skills in dealing with gender issues in multicultural contexts.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini menjelaskan mengenai upaya pencegahan peredaran rokok ilegal dengan komunikasi interpersonal di warung kabupaten Kudus. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan sosialisasi melalui brosur “Gempur Rokok Ilegal” yang dibagikan ke warung-warung yang ada di desa Kirig, Kecamatan Mrjobo, Kabupaten Kudus. Secara langsung pengawasan dilakukan dengan operasi pasar dalam memantau peredaran rokok ilegal dengan program “Gempur Rokok Ilegal”. Mahasiswa KKN Tematik melakukan koordinasi dengan Kepala Desa dan tokoh masyarakat setempat untuk mendukung pelaksanaan program ini. Brosur yang dibagikan merupakan brosur yang dibuat dan dicetak oleh Mahasiswa KKN Tematik UMK 2023 di Desa Kirig. Kegiatan penyebaran brosur kampanye “Gempur Rokok Ilegal” berjalan dengan baik dan tertempel pada warung-warung. Warga menyambut dan menerima kegiatan dengan senang hati. Banyak warga yang masih belum paham mengenai bahaya dari rokok illegal dan bagaimana rokok bisa digolongkan illegal. Mahasiswa KKN berusaha memberikan pemahaman dan penjelasan lebih lanjut agar masyarakat lebih mewaspadai adanya penyebaran rokok illegal dan segera melaporkan jika melihat adanya penyebaran rokok illegal.
