Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada tindakan pengancaman dan penyelamatan muka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bentuk/wujud strategi kesantunan khususnya yang mengacu pada tindakan pengancaman dan penyelamatan muka dalam podcast ASIX episode Anang&Ghea berdasarkan kajian pragmatik. Berkaitan dengan tujuan tersebut, jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa tuturan dari penutur dan mitra tutur (Anang dan Ghea). Sumber data utama yang digunakan sebagai objek dari penelitian ini berupa podcast ASIX episode Anang dan Ghea. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC), teknik catat, dan analisis konten. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan model interaktif (reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak strategi kesantunan positif misalnya memberikan pujian/simpati, mengupayakan kesepakatan, memberi asumsi, dsb. Sedangkan temuan bentuk penggunaan strategi kesantunan negatif yang muncul pada ujaran bersikap pesimis, menggunakan bentuk pasif, nominalisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to classify the use of imperative sentences in Bengkulu on the TikTok account @roykiosaki_ through syntax studies. This research study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Therefore, this research specifically analyzes the imperative sentences used by one of the content creators on the TikTok platform. The data in this research is in the form of speech or conversation (dialogue) between characters in which there are imperative sentences and their context. The data source in this research is the TikTok video account @roykiosaki_. Data was collected using the listening method and note-taking techniques with orthographic transcription. Data was obtained from speech/conversation (dialogue) between characters played personally in which there were imperative sentences and their context. Data collection techniques used include Cakap Free Involvement Listening (SBLC) techniques, note-taking techniques and content analysis. The data analysis technique uses the distribution method as well as the loss technique and replacement technique as advanced techniques. This research includes an analysis of imperative sentences in the Bengkulu regional language on the TikTok social media account @roykiosaki_ based on syntactic studies, namely involving intonation and imperative sentences as well as language markers which can result in differences in the way they are delivered but have the same meaning, namely commanding sentences. The results of this research concluded that there were 46 data each, 26 ordinary imperative sentences, 2 soft imperative sentences, 2 request imperative sentences, and 16 prohibition imperative sentences in the TikTok video content @roykiosaki_, no invitation imperative sentences were identified. The particle markers "-lah" and "-kan" in Bengkulu are most commonly used in ordinary imperative sentences and prohibitions. Of the several words that indicate imperative sentences, they can be deleted or replaced (substituted) using the technique for direct elements (BUL), but there are also words that cannot be deleted or replaced because they will change the meaning or are even unacceptable/meaningless at all. Keywords: Imperative Sentences, Bengkulu, Intonation, Lingual Markers, Social Media

Abstract

Conversational implicature is able to strengthen the contradictory illocutionary function. This paper aims to describe information on strengthening the illocutionary function through conversational implicatures by analyzing the language and sentence structure of the main character's utterances. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The object of this research is implicitly determined through the utterances of the main characters Arya and Inggit who play “My Lecturer My Husband Season 2” taken from webseries media. The data taken was in the form of words and sentences implied in Arya's conversation/dialogue with Inggit. Data collection techniques used free-involved listening (SBLC), notes/transliteration techniques, and content analysis techniques. Method triangulation is used to examine several combinations of methods/techniques in research related to testing the credibility and validity of data. The process of data analysis was carried out by describing all the uses of conversational implicatures in strengthening the speech of contradictory/unusual illocutionary functions. The results of this study indicate that the language variations in the utterances conveyed by the main characters Arya and Inggit in the webseries "My Lecturer My Husband Season 2" prove that there are many implicit/hidden utterances uttered by the two of them with specific intentions. Conversational implicatures in the webseries "My Lecturer My Husband Season 2" include conversational implicatures forbidding, refusing, complaining, and affirming as well as strengthening the illocutionary function of changes in sentence structure (prohibition-asking), (prohibition-threats), (prohibition-innuendo), (prohibition-command), (ban-affirmation).

Abstract

This paper aims to describe research information regarding language variations through socialfactors in the conversations of characters in the media webseries "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5":Sociolinguistic Perspective with analysis of the variety of language and speech that appears by the characters ofthe webseries "Imperfect The Seri S2 Episodes 1-5”. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approachbecause the data taken is in the form of written and unwritten word/sentence data. This qualitative researchmethod is used to help understand the social factors that influence the emergence of language variations in thelanguage used in each communication by the characters in the webseries "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5". The data collected in this research is descriptive data in the form of words/sentences of characters'conversations in the webseries "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5" using data transcription of the characters'utterances which contain variations/variety of language. The data source for this research comes from theWebseries "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5". Other supporting sources in this research are journals andarticles that are relevant to this research. In this research, the data collection techniques used include FreeListening Free Cakap (SBLC), katat techniques, and content analysis. The use of these techniques was chosenbecause it is in accordance with the research focus which relates to oral data that has been transliterated. Thedata analysis technique in this research was carried out through three stages, namely the first stage of datareduction, the second stage of data presentation, the third drawing conclusions. The results of this researchshow that there are variations in language in the utterances/utterances of each conversation in the role ofcharacters in the media webseries "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5" which is influenced by social factors.It can be concluded that in the research results there are 54 forms of language variations used by the charactersin the web series "Imperfect The Series S2 Episode 1-5". Of the 54 data, 22 data are forms of funnymispronunciations, 12 data are forms of language/abbreviated words, 5 data are shortened forms, and 2 dataare forms of interjections.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasikan penggunaan dimensi sinonimi oleh pengarang dalam cerpen “Mi-Re-Do-Sol...Sol-Mi-Re-Do!" karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma melalui kajian analisis wacama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Objek data penelitian ini adalah sinonimi. Data yang digunakan berupa tuturan dan percakapan/dialog antar pelaku yang di dalamnya terdapat aspek leksikal yaitu sinonimi beserta konteksnya. Sumber data untuk penelitian ini berasal dari dokumen cerpen yang berjudul “Mi-Ré-Do-Sol ...Sol-Mi-Ré-Do!” sejumlah 8 halaman. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diterapkan mencakup metode simak dengan menggunakan teknik pencatatan. Teknik yang dianalisis menggunakan metode agih (distribusional) dengan teknik balik (permutasi) ataupun teknik ganti (subtitusi) sebagai teknik lanjutan. Penelitian ini mencakup analisis tentang dimensi sinonimi dalam cerpen “Mi-Re-Do-Sol...Sol-Mi-Re-Do!” karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma yang melibatkan penanda leksikal dan gramatikal pada satuan lingual yang dibagi menjadi 6 dimensi yaitu morfem bebas dengan morfem terikat, hubungan antara kata dan kata, kata dengan frasa atau sebaliknya, frasa dengan frasa, klausa dengan klausa, klausa dengan kalimat. Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 27 dimensi antar morfem, 18 dimensi antar kata dengan kata, 2 dimensi antar frasa dengan kata, 2 dimensi antar frasa dengan frasa, 2 dimensi antar kata dengan klausa, dan 2 dimensi antar klausa dengan klausa. Tidak ada dimensi antar kata dengan frasa maupun dimensi klausa dengan kalimat yang teridentifikasi.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the phenomenon of the use of ambiguity of meaning in the language structure of Indonesian society in words, phrases or sentences that are often used in society such as homographs, homophones, particles, homonyms, hyponyms, and polysemy and ambiguity of meaning at the syntactic level based on research. semantics. The research method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method because the data obtained is taken from written and unwritten words with more in-depth observations. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique carried out in this research went through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The first stage of data reduction is the stage of sorting data into certain concept units, certain categories and certain themes. The second stage of data presentation is that the data is presented/exposed after going through data classification/categorization which is then analyzed to form conclusions. The data in this research were taken from utterances/phrases related to the use of ambiguity of meaning in language and communication used in society based on semantic analysis. The data source in this research is the habits of speakers and interlocutors (speakers and listeners) regarding frequent communication so that terms with ambiguous meanings appear in each of their conversations/utterances. Other supporting sources in this research are relevant journals and articles. The results of this research can be concluded that there are 50 data, each of which is 10 types of data according to the category of language meaning terms which refers to the use of ambiguity of meaning based on the analysis of homographs, homophones, particles (-ber) & (-ter), homonyms, hyponyms and polysemy.
