Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to examine the impact of Islamic environmental management policies on the sustainability of the tourism sector. Specifically, it aims to investigate how the implementation of these policies influences the environmental practices, reputation, operational efficiency, and overall sustainability of tourism businesses. Research Methodology: This study employs a qualitative research approach, utilizing a combination of literature review and case study analysis. The literature review explores existing literature on Islamic environmental ethics and sustainable tourism development, while the case studies focus on selected tourism destinations where Islamic environmental management policies have been implemented. Data collection methods include document analysis, interviews with key stakeholders, and on-site observations. Results: The analysis reveals that the implementation of Islamic environmental management policies in the tourism sector has positive outcomes. Firstly, it leads to increased awareness and commitment to environmental sustainability among tourism businesses, as reflected in the adoption of eco-friendly practices and the preservation of biodiversity. Secondly, it enhances the reputation and image of tourism businesses, generating positive responses from both the local community and tourists. Lastly, it contributes to operational efficiency by reducing long-term operational costs through resource efficiency and waste reduction practices. Limitations: This research has several limitations. Firstly, the study focuses on a limited number of case studies, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Secondly, the research relies on self-reported data from tourism businesses, which may introduce bias. Lastly, the study does not examine the economic impacts of Islamic environmental management policies on the tourism sector. Contribution: This research contributes to the existing literature by exploring the impact of Islamic environmental management policies on the sustainability of the tourism sector. It provides insights into the potential of Islamic principles in promoting responsible environmental practices and enhancing the overall sustainability of tourism businesses. The findings of this study can inform policymakers, tourism practitioners, and researchers in developing strategies to integrate Islamic values into environmental management practices in the tourism industry.

Abstract

Communication is a fundamental aspect in the business world. In the context of sharia business, communication does not only focus on the effectiveness of information delivery, but must also be based on Islamic values ​​and principles. This study aims to explore the concept of sharia business communication and how it can be implemented to build solid business relationships based on Islamic principles. Through a literature review, this study identifies the principles of sharia business communication, such as honesty, fairness, empathy, and transparency. Furthermore, it discusses how the application of these principles can strengthen trust, cooperation, and synergy between business actors in the sharia business ecosystem. This study also highlights the challenges and strategies in integrating Islamic values ​​into modern business communication practices. The results of this study are expected to provide insight for business actors, academics, and stakeholders in developing business communication that is in line with sharia principles, so as to create a more ethical, collaborative, and sustainable business environment. ABSTRAK Komunikasi merupakan aspek fundamental dalam dunia bisnis. Dalam konteks bisnis syariah, komunikasi tidak hanya berfokus pada efektivitas penyampaian informasi, namun juga harus dilandasi oleh nilai-nilai dan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep komunikasi bisnis syariah dan bagaimana ia dapat diimplementasikan untuk membangun relasi bisnis yang kokoh berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Melalui tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip komunikasi bisnis syariah, seperti kejujuran, keadilan, empati, dan transparansi. Selanjutnya, dibahas bagaimana penerapan prinsip-prinsip tersebut dapat memperkuat kepercayaan, kerja sama, dan sinergi antara pelaku bisnis dalam ekosistem bisnis syariah. Studi ini juga menyoroti tantangan dan strategi dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam praktik komunikasi bisnis modern. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pelaku bisnis, akademisi, dan pemangku kepentingan dalam mengembangkan komunikasi bisnis yang selaras dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah, sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan bisnis yang lebih etis, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan Posyandu Balita Taman Kapuk di Desa Kedawung bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan anak-anak balita serta memberikan edukasi kepada orang tua mengenai pentingnya pemantauan tumbuh kembang. Kegiatan ini meliputi pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin, penyuluhan gizi, dan pelatihan kepada kader Posyandu dalam memberikan pelayanan yang optimal. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara aktif, diharapkan tercipta kesadaran akan pentingnya kesehatan anak, serta peningkatan keterampilan kader dalam mendukung program kesehatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah balita yang mendapatkan pemeriksaan kesehatan dan pengetahuan orang tua tentang nutrisi yang baik untuk anak. Melalui program ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif untuk pembangunan kesehatan di Desa Kedawung.   ABSTRACT Community service through the Taman Kapuk Toddler Posyandu activity in Kedawung Village aims to improve the health and welfare of toddlers and provide education to parents about the importance of monitoring growth and development. This activity includes routine health checks, nutrition counseling, and training for Posyandu cadres in providing optimal services. By actively involving the community, it is hoped that awareness will be created about the importance of children's health, as well as improving the skills of cadres in supporting health programs. The results of this activity show an increase in the number of toddlers who receive health checks and parental knowledge about good nutrition for children. Through this program, it is hoped that it can provide a positive contribution to health development in Kedawung Village

Abstract

Purpose of the Study -- This study aims to analyze the relationship between Islamic economic principles and their role in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in sectors such as education, poverty alleviation, and renewable energy. The research also explores the effectiveness of innovative Sharia-compliant financial instruments, such as green sukuk and waqf-based funds, in addressing global sustainability challenges. Research Method -- A mixed-method approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews. A sample of 205 respondents, including practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders in Islamic finance, was analyzed using statistical techniques such as regression analysis, ANOVA, and path analysis to evaluate the relationships between variables and measure the effectiveness of Sharia-based instruments. Result -- The findings indicate a significant positive relationship (β = 0.68, p < 0.01) between the application of Sharia principles and the achievement of SDGs, particularly in education and poverty alleviation. Moreover, 70% of respondents support the development of innovative financial instruments such as green sukuk, which was found to have a substantial impact (coefficient = 0.72) on financing renewable energy projects. However, challenges such as regulatory gaps and technical constraints were identified, highlighting the need for enhanced awareness and policy support. Conclusion -- The study concludes that Islamic economic principles are highly relevant to achieving SDGs, particularly when integrated with innovative financial instruments. Practical implications include the need for regulatory frameworks to support Sharia-compliant financial products and increased collaboration among stakeholders to optimize their potential for sustainable development. Socially, the research underscores the importance of ethical finance in addressing global inequality and environmental challenges.

Abstract

Purpose: This literature review aims to synthesize existing models and theories on the antecedents and consequences of driving donation behavior, particularly within the context of digital and technological advancements in nonprofit fundraising. Research Methodology: This study employs a qualitative literature review approach, analyzing peer-reviewed journal articles, books, and reports to map the psychological, sociocultural, technological, and organizational factors influencing donation behavior. The review integrates theoretical perspectives including social exchange theory, behavioral economics, and cultural frameworks. Results: Findings reveal that emotional appeal, transparency, personalization, technological integration (such as AI, mobile platforms, and blockchain), and cultural sensitivity significantly influence donor intentions and behaviors. Moreover, reciprocal communication and social proof through digital platforms enhance donor trust and sustained engagement. Consequences include increased donor loyalty, organizational credibility, and more effective fundraising outcomes. Limitations: This review is limited by its reliance on secondary data, which may not fully capture emerging real-time donor behavior trends. Future empirical studies are needed to validate and extend the findings across diverse sociocultural contexts. Contribution: The study offers a comprehensive conceptual framework to guide nonprofit organizations in designing effective, culturally attuned, and technology-driven donation strategies. It also identifies gaps in literature, paving the way for future research in behavioral and technological dimensions of charitable giving.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in marketing and halal branding in fostering consumer trust toward halal MSME products in West Java, with a focus on the mediating effect of socio-religious perspectives. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected from Muslim consumers and analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the proposed relationships. The results confirm that AI-driven marketing and halal branding significantly enhance consumer trust, both directly and indirectly through socio-religious values. Notably, the integration of AI with culturally sensitive, faith-based branding emerges as a novel strategy to strengthen trust in halal MSMEs. The study contributes to the literature on Islamic marketing and digital consumer behavior by highlighting the synergy between technological innovation and religious-cultural values. Practical implications suggest that MSMEs should prioritize AI-powered personalization while embedding socio-religious messaging in their branding. Future research could explore demographic moderators or longitudinal designs to generalize these findings.

Abstract

Purpose of the study — The purpose of this study was to examine the antecedents of halal tourism and their implications for destination development and marketing. Research method— The research method employed was a systematic literature review, which involved searching and analyzing relevant scholarly articles and publications.Result— The results of the study revealed several key findings. Destination attributes, including halal-friendly facilities and services, emerged as crucial factors in attracting Muslim travelers. Effective marketing and promotion strategies, infrastructure and services, cultural and religious considerations, and socio-economic factors were also identified as significant determinants of halal tourism. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the factors that shape the growth and success of halal tourismConclusion— The antecedents of halal tourism play a vital role in attracting and satisfying the needs of Muslim travelers. Destinations and tourism stakeholders should consider these factors in their planning, development, and marketing efforts to tap into the growing halal tourism market. The practical implications of this study suggest that investing in halal-friendly facilities, implementing targeted marketing strategies, and respecting cultural and religious practices can enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of destinations in the halal tourism industry.
