Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of teachers in encouraging student innovation through project-based learning methods in junior high school. This study uses a descriptive research approach to understand the experiences and views of teachers and students. The data used is qualitative data. The subjects of this research are Madrasah teachers, namely junior high schools, namely MTsS SA Al-Mukarrim. Data collection techniques and instruments through interviews, observations, and document studies. Based on the research, the findings show that teachers have an important role as facilitators, mentors and supervisors in the learning process. Teachers encourage students to experiment, identify problems, and design problem solving. The application of learning approaches is very effective for teachers in developing students' creativity, critical thinking, and innovation through project-based learning methods.

Abstract

This action research aimed to improve the performance of teachers through a collaborative approach at SD Negeri Lulut 2, Klapanunggal, Bogor Regency. The study identified key issues in teacher performance and student learning outcomes, planned collaborative strategies involving teachers, the school principal, students, parents, and other stakeholders. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, analyzed, and action plans implemented. The findings showed a significant improvement in teacher performance and student learning outcomes, particularly in classes 5 and 6. Collaboration among stakeholders proved essential in achieving these improvements. However, challenges such as resource availability for innovative learning implementation remain. Continuous commitment and collaboration are essential for sustained educational quality improvement.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SD Negeri Karyabakti IV, aimed to determine whether the cooperative learning model of STAD (Student Teams Achievements Divisions) could enhance mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of mixed operations of integers for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Karyabakti IV. The subjects of the study were 37 fourth-grade students consisting of 22 male students and 15 female students. Data collection was carried out through observations conducted by the school principal and peers, and also by assessing students' mathematics learning outcomes through written tests. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) The Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning method applied by the researcher to fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Karyabakti IV, focusing on the topic of mixed operations of integers, could enhance students' mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen in the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes from the pre-cycle stage with a KKM completeness rate of 10.81%, which increased to 45.54% in the first cycle and further increased to 72.97% in the second cycle. 2) The mathematics learning using the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) method also improved teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of online game addiction on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at SDN Karangmakmur III. A qualitative approach was used to gain in-depth understanding through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results show that the majority of students addicted to online games experience a significant decline in learning motivation. This is reflected in their low academic performance, lack of concentration in class, and minimal participation in school activities. Parental support and teacher involvement are crucial in maintaining students' learning motivation. Recommended intervention strategies include healthy technology education, limiting game playing time, and promoting alternative activities. Collaboration between teachers, parents, and school authorities is essential to mitigate the negative impact of online game addiction and enhance students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to explore product innovation in MSMEs and the role of human resource management (HRM) in enhancing customer satisfaction. Using a literature review approach, this research collects and analyzes various relevant sources on product development and HRM in the context of MSMEs. Product innovation in MSMEs is considered a key factor in gaining a competitive edge in the market, involving market research, the application of modern technology, and sustainable product improvements. Additionally, effective HRM plays a critical role in enhancing employees' capabilities through competency-based training programs such as skill training, digital marketing, and inventory management. These training programs aim to improve employees' skills in facing dynamic market challenges and enhance customer service quality. The study also shows that a work culture supporting collaboration and creativity, as well as involving employees in strategic decision-making, contributes to product innovation and customer satisfaction. The results indicate that effective HRM can increase customer loyalty and competitive advantage for MSMEs, while continuous product innovation is crucial for achieving sustainable business growth

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Lesson Study with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach in teaching mathematics to sixth-grade students at SD Negeri Karyasari 1. The method of classroom action research was employed to observe two cycles of teaching, involving planning, implementation, and evaluation of lessons. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of student learning outcomes. The results of the study indicate that the application of the RME approach within the Lesson Study framework can enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts, improve learning motivation, and strengthen collaboration among teachers. This research provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of this instructional approach in the context of primary education.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning is a learning model that uses projects as the core of learning (Permendikbud, 2014:20). This learning model is an innovative learning model that involves project work where students work independently in constructing their learning and culminating it in real products (Nanang Hanafiah and Cucu Suhana, 2009:30). Project Based Learning learning model is a learning strategy where students must build their own content knowledge and demonstrate new understanding through various forms of representation (NYC Department of Education 2009:8). characteristics of the PJBL Learning Model The Project Based Learning, learning model was developed based on the level of development of students' thinking, centered on students' learning activities so as to enable them to carry out activities according to their skills, comfort and learning interests. This model gives students the opportunity to determine for themselves the project they will work on, both in terms of formulating questions to be answered, choosing topics to research, and determining research activities to be carried out. The teacher's role in learning is as a facilitator, providing materials and work experience, encouraging students to discuss and solve problems, and ensuring students remain enthusiastic while they carry out the project. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) Learning Model in improving mathematics learning outcomes for junior high school students. This study employs a comparative approach, comparing mathematics learning outcomes between students taught using MMP and those taught using conventional teaching models. Data were collected through hypothesis testing of mathematics learning outcomes for both groups. The data analysis results indicate a significant difference in mathematics learning outcomes between the two groups, with a significance value (sig.) smaller than the commonly used significance level. These findings suggest that the implementation of MMP effectively improves mathematics learning outcomes for junior high school students. The practical implications of these findings are discussed in the context of developing more effective and inclusive mathematics teaching strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Problem-Based Learning (PBL) teaching materials for algebra content in Junior High School (SMP). The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the study indicate that PBL-based teaching materials can improve students' understanding of algebraic concepts and critical thinking skills. The trial was conducted on eighth-grade students at SMP negeri 3 Depok, with results showing a significant increase in students' final test scores compared to before using the PBL-based teaching materials.
