Abstract

Many people are interested in cookies. Due to the high consumer interest in cookies, many companies produce cookies with various variants, one of which is Rizky Bakery. The problem faced by Rizky Bakery is how to determine the amount of production of 6 types of cookies to reach the maximum profit. Rizky Bakery carries out production activities to meet high market demand and standard demand. This study constructs a model that accommodates both conditions. The model is solved by using the Branch and Bound method constraints on materials, manufacturing time, fee labor, payment for resellers, and production targets. The purpose of this research is to determine the total number program model and the optimal solution by maximizing the profit of cookie production using Branch and Bound. Optimization using the Branch and Bound method can utilize the Python programming language with a limit of 50 iterations. Data collection methods used for this research are interviews and documentation. The limitation of the problem in this research is that the model to be studied is limited to the average condition of demand is standard and when demand is high. The results of the analysis at times of high demand showed that the production of nastar cookies, castangel cookies, mawar cookies, putri salju cookies, peanut cookies, and custard cookies in 300-gram packaging respectively are 250, 45, 80, 39, 90, 150 and in 500-gram packages are 40, 10, 10, 6, 45, and 45. While, the result of standard demand in 300-gram packaging respectively are 100, 25, 50, 16, 50, 60 and the 500-gram packaging respectively are 10, 3, 10, 2, 10, 20. The profit earned when the demand is high is IDR 8,769,412.00 and the standard demand is IDR 3,769,504.00.

Abstract

College is an educational institution that has an important role in providing contributive discourse in social life. How the tradition of critical thinking, respecting pluralistic thinking, and trying to strengthen a multicultural society becomes an academic culture in the intellectual arena. In developing an academic culture, the academic community, in this case becomes an agent, with the appropriate capital and habitus, can change or achieve certain goals. So, to make this happen, analysis and practice are needed that support the development of academic culture. One of the roles of this research is to explain Pierre Bourdieu's thinking and its relevance to the development of academic culture in higher education. Of course, the academic culture in question is in accordance with the goals of each educational institution. Apart from providing Bourideu's perspective, this research also aims to explain the steps that must be taken by agents in an intellectual arena. This research uses a literature or library research method to understand Bourdieu's basic thought concepts related to academic culture. Finally, Bourdieu's concept of thought provides analysis and practices that must be carried out in developing an academic culture in higher education. And how to overcome the problems that occur in it.

Abstract

Atherosclerosis is a leading cause of coronary heart disease. This study analyses how elliptically shaped stenoses alter blood-flow velocity in coronary arteries. The governing equations are discretised with the finite-volume method, coupling pressure and velocity through the SIMPLE (Semi-Implicit Method for Pressure-Linked Equations) algorithm and accelerating convergence with the Successive Over-Relaxation (SOR) technique. A weighted Gauss–Seidel iteration whose over-relaxation factor ( in this work) damps low-frequency error modes, cutting the number of iterations needed for residuals to fall below 10⁻⁴ by roughly 40 % compared with the standard Gauss–Seidel scheme. Simulations of 30 %, 50 %, and 70 % constrictions were carried out in MATLAB R2013a and ANSYS Fluent. Quantitative and qualitative cross-validation of the two software packages confirmed consistent velocity and pressure fields, though minor discrepancies arose from differing numerical schemes and model assumptions, underscoring the need for experimental verification. The highest centre-line velocity occurred at 70 % stenosis—0.72075 m/s in MATLAB versus 0.90 m/s in Fluent—while the lowest was recorded at 30 %. Velocity–pressure profiles showed that increasing inlet velocity or degree of narrowing elevates velocity but decreases pressure, with the largest drop (11492.4 Pa in MATLAB; 11747.32 Pa in Fluent) again at 70% stenosis. Study limitations include modelling blood as a Newtonian fluid and idealising arterial geometry; future work should incorporate non-Newtonian rheology and patient-specific shapes to enhance physiological accuracy.

Abstract

Adaptive technology in education offers an innovative solution to enhance learning quality by personalizing instructional materials according to students’ needs. This study aims to analyze the potential of adaptive technology in Indonesia’s education system and identify its implementation challenges. Using a literature review method, this research examines various studies on the application of adaptive technology in education, particularly within the "Merdeka Belajar" framework. The findings indicate that adaptive technology can enhance student engagement, facilitate data-driven learning, and assist teachers in accurately identifying student difficulties. However, major challenges in its implementation include limited infrastructure, gaps in digital literacy among educators, and cultural resistance to technology in education. To address these barriers, strategic measures such as strengthening digital infrastructure, implementing TPACK-based teacher training, and educating communities about the benefits of adaptive technology are necessary. With these recommendations, adaptive technology is expected to be effectively integrated into Indonesia’s education system, fostering more inclusive, flexible, and high-quality learning.
