Abstract

The issue of poor scientific learning results, particularly for the water cycle curriculum, is the main emphasis of this study's class V pupils at SDN 5 No. 050728 Tanjung Pura. By employing DoSiAr media, this project seeks to enhance students' learning outcomes in scientific classes concerning the water cycle. Using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) technique, which comprises of two cycles, the research was carried out in class V at SDN 5 No. 050728 Tanjung Pura. Records, exams, and observation sheets were used to gather research data. Utilizing DoSiAr media, the study's findings demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in learning from cycle I to cycle II. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa pada wacana narasi di kelas IV, V, dan VI MI Bi Al Nazhar Desa Pekubuan, Kec. Tanjung Pura. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif yang dalam proses pelaksanaan penelitiannya banyak menggunakan angka-angka mulai dari pengumpulan data, penafsiran, sampai pada hasil atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV, V dan VI MI Bi Al Nazhar tergolong sangat rendah. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat melalui tabel ketuntasan siswa yang menunjukkan bahwa dari dari keseluruhan jumlah siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 21 orang, jumlah siswa yang tuntas 2 orang dan 19 orang tidak tuntas. Siswa kelas V dari jumlah keseluruhan siswa sebanyak 19 orang, 3 orang siswa tuntas dan 16 orang tidak tuntas. Sedangkan siswa kelas VI yang berjumlah 21 orang, ada 7 orang siswa yang tuntas dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) pada setiap kelas adalah nilai 75.

Abstract

Digital based game learning is a medium that contains educational content that is translated into games with the aim of involving students. Digital game based learning utilizes learning through learning patterns and playing using a computer or smartphone. Through this media, students are stimulated by three things at once, namely emotional intelligence, cognitive intelligence and psychomotor skills. This community service activity aims to improve the skills of participants, namely MIN 3 Langkat teachers, in using digital teaching media based on game learning. Implementation of community service is carried out through several stages such as Pre-Survey, Formation of a PKM Team, Making Proposals, Coordinating Teams and Partners, Preparing Training Tools & Materials, Implementing training, evaluating. The number of participants was around 25 MIN 3 Langkat teachers. They feel they have gained insights and skills that are applicable and useful. After attending the training, all participants who initially did not know and could not use the Kahoot application became aware and even 44% of the 25 participants were able to use the Kahoot application well.

Abstract

Sasaran Era Society 5.0 yang saat ini digulirkan menjadi tantangan bagi dunia pendidikan karena sangat kental dengan penggunaan teknologi internet. Era dimana semua teknologi tidak lagi sekedar membantu aktivitas sehari-hari manusia dan internet bukan hanya sekedar berbagi informasi, tetapi semua teknologi adalah bagian dari manusia itu sendiri dan internet digunakan untuk menjalankan kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, guru dituntut untuk dapat menggunakan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema “Membantu Pembuatan Soal Online Berbasis Google Form” dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 Maret 2023 di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Indonesia (YPII) Tanjung Pura. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pembuatan/input soal ujian secara online kepada para guru di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Indonesia (YPII) Tanjung Pura. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilakukan dengan memberikan penjelasan konsep pembelajaran daring dan aplikasi Google Form. Abstract

Milk is the first food a baby knows through breast milk (ASI). The public is aware that the quality of breast milk issuperior to cow's milk, formula milk and powdered milk. Milk is a food ingredient that is composed of foodsubstances in balanced proportions. From another angle, milk can also be viewed as a raw material that containsimportant food sources. Soy milk is one of the processing products which is the result of extraction from soybeans.Soy milk protein has an amino acid composition that is almost the same as cow's milk. So soy milk is often used asa substitute for cow's milk for those who are allergic to animal protein. Soy milk is a highly nutritious drink,especially because of its protein content. Apart from that, soy milk also contains carbohydrate fats, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A and vitamin B complex except B12 and water. Students from KKN Post IX CintaRaja Village, which was held on Tuesday, March 5 2024 in the office hall of Cinat Raja Village, Seacanggang subdistrict,carried out training in making soy milk. The qualitative descriptive research method is a method used byresearchers to discover knowledge or theories regarding research at a certain time. The result of this trainingactivity is that the people of Cinta Raja Village gain knowledge and understanding about the advantages anddisadvantages of consuming soy milk. Community service in the form of training has provided the community witha new understanding of soy milk, so that the results of this training open up business opportunities, understandstunting prevention, and provide knowledge about soy milk.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the socialization of resource-based learning in improving mastery of mathematics subject matter in elementary schools. The problem identified is students' low understanding of mathematical concepts caused by less varied learning methods and lack of access to relevant learning resources. The aim of this research is to apply a resource-based approach, which involves the use of various learning materials such as videos, interactive applications, and teaching aids, as well as to evaluate their impact on students' mastery of mathematics material. The research method used includes training for teachers regarding resource-based learning techniques. , implementation of this method in the classroom, and evaluation through observation, interviews, and analysis of student test results. The research results show that the application of resource-based learning significantly improves students' mathematical understanding. Data shows a significant increase in student test scores, active engagement in class, and ability to apply mathematical concepts in real situations. Feedback from teachers also indicated increased confidence in teaching and use of a wider variety of learning resources. Various Lecture Methods, Student Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the learning difficulties of grade VI students in arithmetic at MIS YPII Tanjung Pura and analyze the factors influencing these difficulties. A quantitative method with a descriptive approach was employed for data collection through questionnaires and analysis of student scores. The questionnaire consisted of 20 statements with "Yes" or "No," focusing on aspects such as motivation, conceptual understanding, and support from the learning environment. Additionally, student score data were analyzed to identify patterns of learning difficulties. The results showed that 54.7% of students had difficulty understanding basic arithmetic operations, particularly in multiplication and division. Furthermore, 66.7% of students felt insecure when faced with math problems, and 77.8% expressed needing additional guidance outside of school. Internal factors, such as low motivation and anxiety about math, and external factors, including monotonous teaching methods and minimal parental support, negatively impacted learning outcomes. Data indicated that 50% of students scored below the passing standard. This study recommends using interactive learning strategies, utilizing visual media, and enhancing collaboration between teachers and parents to better support students in their learning processes

Abstract

Resource Based Learning learning method is a learning process that directly confronts students with one or a number of learning resources individually or in groups with all activities related to learning resources. The author used this learning method to improve mastery of purification material for class VII MTsN 1 Langkat students. The subjects of this research were 35 class VII students at MTsN 1 Langkat. This research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The results of the research explain that learning outcomes for describing material have increased, in the first cycle of the first meeting, students' learning outcomes for describing material obtained an average score of 62.71 and at the second meeting, students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average of 67. In the cycle II the average learning outcomes increased, the first meeting of students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average score of 71.34 and the second meeting of students' learning outcomes for analyzing material obtained an average of 75.00. From the pretest before the action, the average value was 74.48 and the posttest results after the action obtained an average value of 87.17. If measured by N-gain, the average student ability is 0.49 in the medium category. This shows that Resource Based Learning according to MTsN 1 Langkat students is considered good, namely between 56-75% classification. Thus, the application of Resource Based Learning can improve students' ability to describe material
