Abstract

Achievement motivation is a key factor influencing an individual’s success in entrepreneurship. This article aims to elucidate the definition and foundational theories of achievement motivation within the context of entrepreneurship. Achievement motivation can be defined as an internal drive that propels individuals to reach specific goals and standards deemed important. In entrepreneurship, this motivation serves as a primary driver for individuals to take risks, innovate, and attain business success. The theoretical foundations of achievement motivation include McClelland's need theory, which emphasizes the importance of the need for achievement, affiliation, and power. Additionally, expectancy theory and goal-setting theory contribute to understanding how individuals establish and pursue their objectives in entrepreneurship. This research concludes that a profound understanding of achievement motivation can assist aspiring entrepreneurs in developing effective strategies to achieve business success.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of the competence of educators and education personnel in MI Manba’ul Huda based on national standard of educator and education personel in accordance with Permendiknas. The object of this research is the entire educators and education personel in MI Manba’ul Huda. Then the research approach used is a descriptive qualitative research approach with research instruments including observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis obtained that the standar and competence of educators and education personel in MI Manba’ul Huda have a fairly good value with a percentage of 77% or a value of 58 from maximum value of 76. There are four indicators that have a value below 3 or B, namely regarding madrasah special personnel, competence and certification of library staff, the ratio of conseling teacher and the competence of counseling teachers. The strategy carried out in improving the competence of educators and education personnel by including teacher in training in accordance with the field of ability they are capable of to produce competent educators and continue to apply Islamic values.

Abstract

Sebuah metode yang rasional dan terorganisasi dalam melakukan rekognisi kuantifikasi menemukan solusi, sikap serta melaksanakan pengawasan dan pelaporan pada setiap proses keberlangsungan kegiatan. Manajemen risiko di lembaga pendidikan meliputi berbagai aspek yaitu sarana dan prasarana, peserta didik, sarana dan prasaran, budgeting,serta hubungan dengan masyarakat. Pada masa ini risiko dapat terjadi dalam jangkauan waktu yang tidak dapat ditentukan di berbagai wilayah artinya dapat terjadi kapan saja. Faktor terpenting untuk mewujudkan generasi emas 2045 di Indonesia yaitu pendidikan. Karena manajemen risiko mengajak individu untuk melaksanakan pendekatan terhadap ketidakpastian masa depan secara logis, konsisten dan sitematis. Untuk mewujudkan generasi emas tersebut perlu adanya kolaborasi dari semua pihak dengan mempersiapkan berbagai hal risiko yang akan dihadapi. Sebagai umat islam, penting untuk melakukan semua aktivitas yang berlandaskan kepada Al-Qur’an termasuk dalam manajemen risiko. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen risiko lembaga pendidikan menuju generasi emas dalam perspektif Al-qur’an tepatnya dalam surat yusuf ayat 43-49. Pendekatan yang diaplikasikan dalam artikel ini berupa pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk menemukan beberapa temuan yang dapat dilakukan seorang manajer muslim dalam manajemen risiko lembaga pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, konsep manajemen risiko secara berangsur menciptakan arah jalan dalam menetepkan sesuatu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari termasuk di lembaga pendidikan. Penafsiran dalam surat yusuf 43-49 yaitu mengenai mimpi Raja yang dita’wilkan oleh nabi Yusuf  yang berkenaan tentang perspektif Islam dalam manajemen risiko.

Abstract

This study is inspired by the potency of positive school culture in enhancing education quality, especially within the madrasah environment. A strong school culture has been considered crucial, but efforts toward strong strategic management to support the school culture still face many challenges. Among the most urgent issues are adjustments to the constantly evolving standards for accreditation, such as the 2020 Accreditation Certification Tool. The present study analyzes how strategic management influences the school culture to achieve standards in MIN Bandung. This case study, using a qualitative approach, has collected data through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic techniques in identifying management patterns that support school culture. It is observed that MIN Bandung can instill into the culture the values of honesty, cooperation, and compassion, so that student motivation positively influences performance. On the contrary, what needs to be faced in the current era is the sustainability of value implementation and resource limitation. The conclusion suggests that the strategy should become more adaptive and holistic to be compatible with the 2020 accreditation standards.Keywords: Strategic management, school culture, accreditation.

Abstract

The motivation for the study was the importance of transformational leadership in developing teachers' work at MIN Bandung. However, there is little research on the contribution of this type of leadership in Islamic education. The purpose of this study is to examine the responsibilities of school/madrasah leaders in improving teacher performance. This study used a quantitative comparative method. The research sample consisted of 21 teachers from MIN Bandung, and information was gathered through a Likert scale-based questionnaire that measured teachers' perceptions of transformational leadership and teachers' roles, and the relationship between variables. Based on the research, the findings indicate that the transformational leadership of school leaders in MIN Bandung is in the best category, and is positively and significantly related to improving teacher performance. It can be concluded that transformational leadership is essential to establish supportive working conditions, which can motivate and encourage teachers to be more creative and responsible to ensure the quality of academic coaching in schools.

Abstract

The management of new student admissions plays a crucial role in supporting the realization of quality education. Therefore, its implementation must be carried out in a well-structured and systematic manner. This study aims to analyze the description and reinforcement of new student admission management in secondary schools originating from primary schools. The study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and relevant literature reviews. The data obtained were analyzed using thematic analysis to identify patterns and key findings related to the new student admission management process. The findings reveal that the management of new student admissions from primary to secondary schools adopts the Planning, Programming, Budgeting System (PPBS) model, which encompasses three main steps: planning, programming, and budgeting. The results also indicate that the number of new students from primary schools has significantly increased over the past five years, peaking at 184 new students. The implementation of the PPBS model in new student admission management has proven effective in increasing student enrollment and strengthening the administrative system for admissions.The study concludes that the use of the PPBS model can enhance the management process of new student admissions in secondary schools, ensuring a more efficient and effective admission system.

Abstract

Education is an important asset in the development of the country, whose success can be measured through student learning outcomes. Subtraction material in grade 1 SD has a fundamental role in learning mathematics, although many students face difficulties in understanding it. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Quizizz Mode Paper evaluation media in improving student learning outcomes on subtraction material. The study used a pre-experimental experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach, involving 21 grade 1 elementary school students selected by simple randomization. Data were collected through tests before and after treatment, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed an increase in the average score from 79.95 to 91.43, with an N-Gain value of 64%. Wilcoxon test showed a significant difference (p<0.05), and regression analysis showed that this media contributed 61.2% to the improvement of learning outcomes. Quizizz Mode Paper proved to be effective and relevant as an interactive learning media that supports students' understanding of basic math concepts.

Abstract

The principal's role as a supervisor is to help improve teacher professionalism and ensure that students' needs are met in the learning process. Through supervision, school principals can improve the quality of learning and ensure that the supervision program carried out provides maximum results. This study aims to explore and analyze the application of collaborative academic supervision carried out by the head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 West Bandung. Academic supervision is an important aspect in ensuring the quality of education and increasing teacher professionalism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that madrasa heads implement various supervision strategies, including careful supervision planning, systematic implementation of supervision, as well as continuous evaluation and follow-up. Supporting factors in academic supervision include the competency of the madrasa head, teamwork, and support from related educational institutions. However, this research also identified several obstacles, such as limited time, high workload, and lack of resources. The recommendations of this research are the need to increase training and professional development for madrasa heads as well as increase support from the government and educational institutions to optimize academic supervision. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective academic supervision practices in madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of madrasah financing management to improving teacher performance at MTs Persis 40 Sarongge. The background of this study is the importance of financing management as a supporting element in improving the quality of education through optimal teacher performance. This study used a quantitative method with a correlation design. The population consisted of 21 teachers, and data collection was done through questionnaires with descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that the average madrasah financing management was in the very good category (80.81), while the average teacher performance reached a score of 76.95. Spearman Rank correlation analysis revealed a very strong relationship between financing management and teacher performance with a correlation coefficient of 0.858. The contribution of financing management to teacher performance reached 74%, with the rest influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study confirms that effective planning, organizing, and controlling in madrasah financing management can improve the quality of learning through optimal teacher performance. This study recommends transparent and needs-based financial management strategies to support teachers' professional development.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the teaching proficiency of educators in class IV MIN Bandung in integrated thematic learning, student learning motivation in class IV MIN Bandung in integrated thematic learning and, the connection between teachers' pedagogical skills and students' motivation in integrated thematic education in class IV MIN. Bandung. quantitative. The number of respondents used is 75 students of class IV MIN Bandung. Questionnaires and documentation are data collection techniques using a quantitative research approach in the form of correlational methods. The showed that the teacher's pedagogic competence in integrated thematic learning in class IV MIN Bandung had a percentage of 65.33% which was in the high category and the average amount was 57.49 of the maximum average of 80. The motivation of students in integrated thematic learning for class IV at MIN Bandung falls into the very high category, with 41.34% achieving this level and an average score of 70.35 out of a maximum possible average of 92. The correlation between teachers' pedagogical competence and students' learning motivation in integrated thematic learning for class IV at MIN Bandung was found to be 0.630, indicating a high level of association. The teacher"™s pedagogic participation affects srudents"™ learning motivation by 40%.
