Abstract

In 2022, Bali was chosen as the venue for the G20 Indonesia Summit. Several activities were carried out, one of which was a dinner entitled 'Welcoming Dinner and Cultural Performance G20 Indonesia.' This event took place at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) tourist destination. The research aims to determine the influence of the tourist attraction components at GWK on tourists' decisions to revisit Garuda Wisnu Kencana in Bali. This research is a mixed-method study that employs statistical analysis techniques using SPSS. The respondents included 50 domestic tourists who had previously visited GWK. The research results indicate that the tourist attraction of G20 Indonesia has a significant and positive influence on the decision to return to GWK. However, the tourist attraction component does not have a significant and positive effect on the decision to revisit GWK. It is hoped that this research can provide insights for tourist destination managers to identify the factors that influence tourists decisions to revisit a tourist destination.

Abstract

There are hotel developments in Bali and many new hotels, one of which is The Westin Resort & Spa Ubud Bali (TWRSUB). Organizing online events has the potential to increase brand awareness as offline events cannot be held during a pandemic. This study aims to analyze the event organization in increasing “Westin” brand awareness. The method used is quantitative by analyzing the effect (simple linear regression). Data collection is done by distributing online questionnaires to all invited guests who have attended the event at TWRSUB. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: a) there was a significant effect of organizing offline events at TWRSUB on visitor brand awareness, and the coefficient of determination was 0.333, which means that 33.3% of brand awareness was influenced by offline events. b) the significant effect of organizing online events at TWRSUB on visitors' brand awareness, and the coefficient of determination is 0.191, which means that 19.1% of brand awareness is influenced by online events. c) There is a difference in the effect of organizing offline events and organizing online events at The Westin Resort and SPA Ubud on the Brand awareness of visitors. Based on the research findings, the researcher suggests that the management of TWRSUB should more often hold events both offline and online in order to increase the number of visits and brand awareness to TWRSUB.

Abstract

This research focuses on PT. Einvite Karya Sejahtera, the owner of the Einvite.id brand, which provides digital invitation and digital guestbook services. Although the product was popular during the pandemic, intensified competition and a lack of brand awareness have led to a decline in sales. The purpose of this project is to explore strategies to increase brand awareness and strengthen Einvite.id's position in the market. This analysis uses qualitative methods, including interviews and observations, as well as SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors that affect brand awareness. The findings of this research are three best alternative solutions to grow Einvite.id's brand awareness and increase sales: a. Increase marketing and development efforts by hiring the required staff, b. Sponsor events that are relevant to the target market, c. Maintain flexibility in the use of additional operational teams.

The MICE industry is one of the tourism industries affected by covid-19 pandemic. Phenom Event Indonesia (PEI) is one of the EOs engaged in the field of MICE organizing services which have also been affected by the co-19 pandemic. It's just that, they have implemented the right marketing strategy so that the impact of the pandemic does not make PEI go out of business. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy used by PEI to maintain its company during a pandemic. The research method uses qualitative research methods. Data obtained through interviews, literature studies and internet studies. The theory used is marketing theory which consists of product, price, place, and promotion. The results of the study reveal that the marketing strategy used by PEI to survive in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, namely by: 1) Products, namely by offering new virtual hybrid studio products and equipping themselves with CHSE certificates, 2) The pricing strategy used by PEI is to adjust the scale events and budgets provided from clients with a negotiation process, 3) Location Strategy by utilizing PEI's strategic offices to become restaurants, bars and pubs that can be used for small-scale event venues, 4) Judging from PEI's promotion using digital marketing with a YouTube account and sales calls to all repeater clients as well as changing the target market and always providing feedback in the form of souvenirs or gifts to clients. It is hoped that the results of the research can be used as reference material for EO's marketing strategy when facing pandemics in the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the tourism sector has accelerated the emergence of technology-driven platforms that enable the end-to-end integration of tourism experiences. This study examines the market feasibility and strategic management implications of the Tegal Tourism platform, which comprises four main subsystems: Virtual Tour, Tourism Marketplace, Mitra Jelajah (partner ecosystem), and an AI-based chatbot. Adopting a mixed-methods approach, the study combines survey data from 116 respondents with in-depth interviews, FGDs, and prototype testing. Market feasibility is evaluated across five key dimensions, namely market demand and trends, consumer segmentation and user profiles, competitor and substitute product analysis, go-to-market and distribution strategies, and quantitative demand estimation. The findings reveal that 56.9% of respondents are familiar with virtual tours, 70% are interested in exploring tourism through such technology, and more than 77% indicate a likelihood of making transactions after a virtual experience, demonstrating strong online-to-offline (O2O) conversion potential. Additionally, 94% of respondents primarily use smartphones, highlighting the importance of a mobile-first strategy. Overall, the platform demonstrates high market feasibility, supported by strong user interest, digital readiness, and significant transaction potential. Four of the five dimensions meet the feasibility criteria, while consumer segmentation and user profiles remain at a medium-to-high risk level and require targeted mitigation. This study contributes to strategic management and digital tourism literature by offering an integrated feasibility framework and practical insights for strengthening digital tourism ecosystems and MSME participation.
