Abstract

Suboptimal implementation of tank cleaning will produce suboptimal results and can affect loading failure. These less than optimal results are influenced by several things. Tank Cleaning is a tank cleaning carried out on a tanker which serves to reduce the risk of damage to the cargo. Wall wash test is a tank cleanliness test for chemical tankers after completing tank cleaning. In the loading process, chemical tankers must prepare their loading tanks in accordance with the correct procedures. In every process of preparing this tank must always pay attention to the standards that have been determined from the surveyor or based on IMO (International Maritime Organization). When the Chemical ship will load, the ship's tank will be checked by the cargo surveyor, if there is dirt or residual cargo before the ship can be declared a failure in the tank cleaning process and as a result the ship will be ordered out of the Jetty, ordered to re-clean. This causes company losses because there will be delays in the loading and discharging process of the ship and the company gets complaints from the charter party. The method used to carry out the research is descriptive qualitative. Cutting the time for tank cleaning can result in poor tank cleaning results, poor quality materials also result in less than optimal results, and equipment that lacks maintenance will result in less than optimal tool performance. When the Chemical ship will load, the ship's tank will be checked by the cargo surveyor, if there is dirt or residual cargo before the ship can be declared a failure in the tank cleaning process and the ship will be ordered out of the Jetty and ordered to re-clean. This causes losses to the company because there will be delays in the loading and discharging process of the ship and the company can get complaints from the charter party. The success or failure of tank cleaning and wall wash tests depends on the discipline of the crew, adequate tools and materials, and procedures that are carried out properly.

Abstract

This study examines the important role of Marine Inspectors in ensuring voyage safety and towards Tanjung Perak Surabaya Main Class Port Zero Accident. It examines the professionalism of Marine Inspectors in checking the seaworthiness of ships to sail. This study also analyzes the challenges faced by Marine Inspectors in conducting inspections. The method uses by the researchers is qualitative research methods. The study used observation and interview methods to obtain data. This study found that the ship inspection procedure carried out by the Marine Inspector is in accordance with the procedure. The inspection is not only carried out on the ship's body, but also related machinery and certificates that must be owned before sailing. The processing of these certificates can also be done online through SIMKAPEL. SIMKAPEL is a web-based database to assist certificate processing without having to come to Tanjung Perak Surabaya Main class Port. The professionalism of the Marine Inspector is required to keep the inspection in accordance with the procedure. Professionalism is needed so that every ship sailing can be guaranteed to be seaworthy to minimize the occurrence of accidents while sailing. Although it has been done properly and according to procedure, there are still challenges experienced by Marine Inspectors in conducting inspections. The challenges faced by Marine Inspectors in conducting inspections are adverse weather, lack of attachments from shipowners for ship inspections, and lack of personnel to conduct ship inspections.

Abstract

Penerapan perawatan alat bongkar kapal tersebut di bilang belum optimal di sebabkan karena kerusakan peralatan bongkar muat seperti rampdoor, wire rampdoor, winch rampdoor, dan cardeck. Penulis merumuskan persoalan dengan mencari faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kerusakan peralatan bongkar muat untuk meminimalisir terhambatnya kegiatan bongkar muat. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian menggunakan metode fishbone dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mencari penyebab terjadinya kerusakan peralatan bongkar muat kapal dan juga upaya terhambatnya kegiatan bongkar muat kapal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kerusakan peralatan bongkar muat adalah kurangnya pemahaman kru tantang pentingnya perawatan peralatan bongkar muat kapal, kurangnya perawatan peralatan bongkar muat kapal, perusahaan kurang memperhatikan persedian suku cadang peralatan bongkar muat kapal. Untuk upaya pencegahan meminimalisir terhambatnya kegiatan bongkar muat yaitu dengan melakukan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya perawatan peralatan bongkar muat kapal, melakukan pemeriksaan atau pengawasan berkala, dan perawatan berkala, melakukan komunikasi dan koordinasi yang efektif antara chief Officer dan perusahaan

Abstract

BOSIET merupakan pelatihan tentang keselamatan yang dikhususkan bagi pekerja lepas pantai/offshore. Penerapan BOSIET tersebut belum optimal di sebabkan karena kurangnya komunikasi terhadap crew kapal dengan crew diving/pekerja lepas pantai pada kapal X yang hampir terjadi kecelakaan yang berakibat fatal. Penulis merumuskan persoalan dengan mencari faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada crew diving dan upaya pencegahan untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja pada crew diving atau pekerja lepas pantai. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mencari penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kerja crew diving dan juga upaya untuk meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja lepas pantai. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan kerja pada crew diving dikapal X adalah kurangnya komunikasi antara crew diving dan crew kapal, kurangnya perawatan peralatan diving dan mesin diving, cuaca yang buruk. Untuk upaya pencegahan meminimalisir kecelakaan kerja crew diving yaitu dengan melakukan pelatihan BOSIET, melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan sebelum melakukan penyelaman, melakukan pemeriksaan dan perawatan terhadap peralatan penyelaman serta mesin diving secara berkala, melakukan komunikasi dan koordinasi yang efektif antara crew diving dan crew kapal

Election condition by the insured influence quantity premium must paid as well as breadth guarantee the danger posed by the insurer. So that the consequences is condition of the policy purchased in accordance the dangers that can guaranteed that 's what can submitted accompanied completeness document claim.
