Abstract

This research changed students' low critical mathematical thinking abilities. To overcome this problem, researchers developed comic-based teaching materials to enhance college students' critical mathematical thinking skills. This study aims to supply comic-based coaching materials that are legitimate and practical. This research uses the R&D method with a 4D development model. This research design uses data collection techniques, validation sheets, and practicality questionnaire sheets. The subjects in this research were 20 students in class V. From the research results, it was found that the media expert's score was 96.66%, which was categorized as very appropriate. The linguist scored 88% in the very appropriate category, the material expert was 80% in the proper category, and the teacher practitioner was 92% in the very appropriate category. For the practicality of comic-based teaching materials, the teacher's practicality score was 96%, and the students' practicality score was 87.7%, categorized as very practical. Therefore, comic-based teaching materials can be used as a solution for educators to improve critical mathematical thinking.

Islamic Education Philosophy has an important role in shaping education in accordance with Islamic values. One of the important concepts in Islamic Education Philosophy is the purpose of life and society as the object of study. The purpose of human life in the view of Islam is to achieve perfection and happiness in his life, both in this world and in the hereafter. Abstract

Understanding the history of Islamic civilization is crucial in addressing modern challenges. This research aims to analyze the Prophet Muhammad's preaching strategy in Mecca and its presentation within the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) curriculum. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, data were collected through document analysis and interviews with key informants at MAN 1 Cianjur during November and December 2023. The findings reveal that the SKI curriculum effectively integrates historical and religious values, enhancing students' understanding of Islamic history and moral development. The Independent Curriculum's flexibility allows for the incorporation of diverse teaching methods and technological tools, fostering comprehensive evaluations. This research supports previous findings on the importance of contextually relevant pedagogical approaches and contributes new insights into curriculum development for Islamic education. Future research should explore the long-term impacts of this curriculum model and its adaptability to different educational contexts, potentially guiding further enhancements in teaching Islamic history and values.

Abstract

Abstract: This study employs an Islamic economics perspective to comparatively analyze both systems' operational frameworks, compliance challenges, and socio-economic impacts. The rapid expansion of fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) lending in Indonesia reveals a regulatory and ethical duality between conventional and Sharia models. Through qualitative document analysis of OJK regulations, DSN-MUI fatwas, and fintech platforms (2019-2024), we identify how conventional P2P lending relies on interest-based mechanisms that contradict Islamic principles of riba prohibition, while Sharia P2P financing utilizes murabahah, mudharabah, and musyarakah contracts to ensure ethical transactions. Key findings demonstrate: (1) Tension between OJK's unified fintech supervision and DSN-MUI's Sharia governance requirements, (2) 38% higher financial inclusion for MSMEs under Sharia models despite lower market penetration, and (3) Critical literacy gaps enabling illegal lending platforms. We argue that reconciling this duality requires regulatory harmonization, integrating POJK's risk frameworks with maqashid al-shariah objectives. This research contributes a policy blueprint for Muslim-majority economies navigating digital finance ethicalization.

Abstract

Islamic Peer-to-Peer (P2P) financing has become a promising alternative to overcome capital barriers faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the empowerment role of Islamic P2P financing through two complementary approaches. First, a descriptive qualitative method was employed to analyze the business models of Islamic P2P platforms and their integration with social entrepreneurship values. Second, a Systematic Literature Review was conducted to specifically assess the role of Islamic fintech in supporting MSME capitalization. The descriptive findings indicate that leading platforms such as ALAMI and Ammana integrate sharia contracts mudharabah, musyarakah, wakalah, and qardh to combine commercial goals with social impact. These practices reflect the principles of social entrepreneurship by enhancing inclusivity, ethical finance, and community empowerment. The SLR, based on 20 eligible articles published between 2019 and 2025, identified three main themes. First, models and financing schemes, including musyarakah, mudharabah, qardh al-hasan, and smart contracts that expand outreach and efficiency. Second, key success factors, such as trust, sharia compliance, literacy, technological innovation, and transparent information that drive adoption. Third, impact on financial inclusion and empowerment, highlighting contributions to MSME growth, poverty alleviation, inequality reduction, and integration with halal certification and community-based initiatives. Overall, the study confirms that Islamic P2P financing functions not merely as a financial intermediary but also as a driver of socio-economic transformation. Theoretically, it advances discourse on value-based financial innovation, while practically, it provides insights for policymakers, regulators, and practitioners to strengthen sharia fintech as a catalyst for MSME development and sustainable Islamic economic ecosystems.
