Abstract

Dalam arus globalisasi pada saat ini pengaruh bahasa asing terlebih utama bahasa gaul yang digunakan oleh anak-anak zaman sekarang. Indonesia sendiri ialah negara yang mempunyai pulau-pulau besar dan banyak. Maka dari itu Indonesia tergolong dalam negara yang mempunyai banyak suku, bangsa dan Bahasa. Bahasa dapat kita pahami sebagai sarana atau alat untuk berkomunikasi, mengungkapkan pemikiran atau perkataan seseorang atau kelompok. Namun penggunaan bahasa asing atau bahasa gaul semakin merajalela seiring dengan kemajuan teknologi masa kini, hal ini karena hegemoni yang telah ada dimana-mana dan hampir menyentuh segala aspek pemakaian Bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini tidak dapat didiamkan saja karena mampu merusak eksistensi dalam perkembangan Bahasa Indonesia. Untuk itu, sikap positif dari masyarakat Indonesia harus didorong untuk tetap loyal terhadap Bahasa nasionalnya. Penelitian yang digunakan yakni dengan metode kualitatif. Melalui hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan kesadaran bagi masyarakat supaya menjunjung tinggi bahasa Indonesia yang merupakan identitas bangsa.

Abstract

Thematic learning is an educational approach that integrates multiple subjects under a unified theme to enhance student engagement and comprehension. This study focuses on evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of thematic learning at SDN 158 Palembang, specifically in grade 2. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that teachers utilize diverse strategies, including active group learning and IT-based media, to enhance students' motivation and focus. However, challenges persist, particularly in managing group activities and addressing varying levels of student literacy. Teachers also face difficulties in teaching specific subjects like citizenship due to limited thematic book content, prompting the use of supplementary materials. Evaluation of thematic learning is conducted through regular assessments, including daily tests, midterms, and final exams, focusing on knowledge, skills, and attitudes. While thematic learning shows potential in fostering critical thinking and active participation, it also requires continuous teacher training and better resource allocation to address implementation challenges. The study concludes that thematic learning is effective in promoting holistic student development but necessitates improvements in evaluation methods and instructional resources for optimal results.

Abstract

Language is a tool that humans use to communicate by conveying their thoughts and desires towards other people to the person they are talking to. In Indonesia, especially among teenagers, slang is very popular in their daily lives. This slang is a language that is only understood by those who use it, especially teenagers, because the most popular use of slang is in the hands of teenagers. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this research were teenagers at home and active students at the Raden Fatah State Islamic University in Palembang and we took several respondents to be interviewed. We used two methods or techniques for collecting data, namely by observation and interviews with several respondents. From the interviews that have been conducted, researchers can analyze that teenagers nowadays often use slang, they say that slang can make it easier for them to communicate with each other and make each other more familiar. The answers from several respondents we interviewed sometimes unconsciously used slang and Indonesian at the same time or mixed up the two, for example "You are really SKSD, aren't you?" From the results of the analysis explained in the discussion section, the researcher can draw the conclusion that the use of slang which is currently very varied has a great influence on the existence (existence) of Indonesian itself as the identity of the Indonesian state, because teenagers are more accustomed to using slang than Indonesian. itself because it could cause the Indonesian language to fade and not be sustainable.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is a project-based co-curricular activity designed to develop students in alignment with the six dimensions of the Pancasila student profile. P5 provides students with opportunities to experience project-based learning by engaging with their surrounding environment. SD Negeri 75 Palembang is one of the schools that has implemented the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. This study aims to describe the difficulties faced by teachers in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in Grade IV at SD Negeri 75 Palembang. This research employed a qualitative method with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Grade IV teachers at SD Negeri 75 Palembang still encounter several challenges in implementing P5, including: (1) determining appropriate project themes, (2) utilizing available facilities and infrastructure, (3) limited time allocation, and (4) designing project modules. The efforts undertaken by the school to overcome these difficulties include: (1) establishing collaborations with external partners, (2) condensing P5 implementation into one month each semester, and (3) organizing teacher learning groups as a platform for teachers experiencing challenges in implementing P5.
