Abstract

Abstrak. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran sangat penting dimiliki siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam memecahkan masalah matematis ditinjau dari gaya kognitif reflektif dan implusif. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 2 siswa dari kelas VII G SMP Bruder Pontianak yang terdiri dari 1 subjek reflektif dan 1 subjek impulsif, dimana diambil berdasarkan pertimbangan dan saran dari guru mata pelajaran. Subjek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes instrumen Matching Familiar Figure Test (MFFT), soal tes essay kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam memecahkan masalah matematis, dan angket serta non tes berupa wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil tes dan wawancara dianalisis berdasarkan indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yaitu: interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang bergaya kognitif reflektif mampu memenuhi semua indikator berpikir kritis interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi dalam menyelesaikan soal tes berpikir kritis cenderung tuntas, mengambil lama dan jawabannya kebanyakan benar sehingga berpikir kritis tinggi. Siswa yang bergaya kognitif implusif hanya mampu memenuhi sebagian dari semua indikator berpikir kritis interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi dan inferensi, yaitu interpretasi, evaluasi dan inferensi dari indikator yang terpenuhi akan tetapi jawabannya dalam menyelesaikan soal tes berpikir kritis cenderung kurang tepat, mengambil cepat dan jawabannya kebanyakan salah sehingga berpikir kritis rendah.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis; Memecahkan Masalah; Gaya Kognitif

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive video learning media in mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical understanding that is valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research where the research procedure uses a 4D design, namely (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination) but this research only reaches the Development stage due to limited time, costs and research subjects. The subjects in this study were 26 class X students of SMAN 1 Nanga Tayap. The instrument used by the researcher was a validation sheet to see the validity of interactive video media, a response questionnaire was used to see the practicality of interactive video media and a pilot test was used to see the practicality of interactive video media in improving students' mathematical understanding abilities. Based on the validation of the three validators on learning interactive video media, it can be declared valid with an average index percentage of 79.69% with valid criteria. Material expert validation was declared valid with an average index percentage of 78.88% with valid criteria. Meanwhile, media expert validation was declared valid with an average percentage index of 79.28% with valid criteria. The level of practicality with an average percentage of teacher responses is 80%, with very valid criteria and an average percentage of student responses is 82.66% with very practical criteria. From the results of completing the teacher and student response questionnaire, interactive video learning media for students' mathematical understanding can be stated to be very practical for students. The level of effectiveness of students after using interactive video learning media on mathematical understanding abilities is 80.76% with very effective criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out more carefully students' critical thinking skills in solving word problems in terms of self-efficacy. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. . The form of research used in this study is a case study. This research was conducted at Semparuk 1 Public High School, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. The research subjects were 33 students in class X IPS I. Then 9 students were taken as subjects for interviews where each subject had high, medium and low self-efficacy. The data in this study are in the form of critical thinking ability test results, self-efficacy questionnaire results, and interview results. In this study, data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model was used. Activities in data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. From the results of the study it was found that students who have high self-efficacy have been able to solve Trigonometry story problems well and in accordance with the indicators of mathematical critical thinking ability, students who have moderate self-efficacy have been able to solve Trigonometry story questions poorly and have not fulfilled the four indicators of thinking ability mathematically critical, and students who have low self-efficacy are only able to say what is asked in the questions correctly, while other indicators of mathematical critical thinking skills are not resolved correctly..

Abstract

This study aims to produce powtoon-based learning video learning media to improve students' critical thinking skills in class VIII two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) material at SMPN 2 Putussibau which achieves a level of validity, practicality, and efficiency. This research method uses research and development involving 3 material validator experts and 3 media validator experts. The subjects of this study were grade VIII students of SMPN 2 Putussibau totaling 14 students. Data collected validation sheets, student response questionnaires, teacher response questionnaires, and tests of students' critical thinking skills. The results of this study showed that the learning video media assessed validity 86% (very valid), practical assessment 84% (very practical) and effectiveness assessment 85.7% (very effective). So, it can be stated that animated videos are suitable to be used as learning media for grade VIII SMPN 2 Putussibau regarding the subject of Two Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV).

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKS) containing cultural elements in the Malay custom of tajak Tanah Ketapang on the material of two-variable linear equation systems in Class VIII B SMP Negeri 02 Muara Pawan Ketapang. This research is development research that uses the borg ang gall model, namely: Potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, initial trials, and product revisions. The data collection technique used in this research is indirect communication techniques and measurement techniques, while the data collection tools used are validation sheets, questionnaires (teacher and student response questionnaires) and tests. The test subjects in this research were 24 students in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 02 Muara Pawan Ketapang. This research produced a validity level of 90% in the very valid category, a practicality level of 94.85% in the very practical category and an effectiveness level of 79,16% in the very effective category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning obstacles associated with the triangle material and the factors that cause it. The participants in this study were class VIII students of SMPN 1 Sengah Temila and mathematics teachers. This study uses a qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, measurement techniques (tests), interviews, and documentary studies. The data was analyzed qualitatively to determine students' learning obstacles in class VIII triangle material at SMPN 1 Sengah Temila. The results of this study are that students experience ontogenic barriers, namely obstacles related to one's mental readiness, epistemological, namely students' knowledge that has a limited context, and didactical obstacles related to teaching materials, or learning offerings used by the teacher. The obstacles experienced by students are learning obstacles to types of triangles, determining triangle images and triangle concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah learning trajectory (alur belajar) mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Pengajaran Matematika (PPM) sebagai upaya pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik mahasiswa calon guru matematika dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain didaktis (Didactical Design Research) yang memuat tiga tahapan analisis, yaitu analisis prospektif, analisis metapedadidaktik, dan analisis retrospektif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru matematika, yakni mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika IKIP PGRI Pontianak yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah PPM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pada tahap analisis prospektif diperoleh hasil analisis tentang gambaran pengetahuan awal mahasiswa dan gambaran situasi pembelajaran PPM yang menjadi dasar dalam merumuskan lintasan belajar hipotetik/hypothetical learning trajectory (HLT); (2) pada tahap analisis metapedadidaktik diperoleh hasil analisis implementasi HLT terhadap kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran berupa program tahunan, program semester, silabus, HLT Siswa, desain didaktis hipotetik yang dilengkapi dengan prediksi respon dan antisipasi didaktik pedagogik, serta media pembelajaran; dan (3) pada tahap analisis retrospektif diperoleh hasil analisis refleksi dan evaluasi terhadap HLT yang telah diimplementasikan sehingga diperoleh learning trajectory. Dengan demikian, melalui penelitian desain didaktis telah diperoleh sebuah learning trajectory untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam melakukan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik, sekaligus learning trajectory ini menjadi dasar dalam merumuskan desain pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar PPM pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran kontekstual pendidikan dalam karakter. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran matematika SMP Tunas Bhakti dan objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Tunas Bhakti. Hasil analisis data penelitian ini menunjukan: (1) implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas VII meliputi perencanaan. Proses pembelajaran dan penilaian; (2) Faktor penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di kelas VII adalah kurangnya kesadaran siswa dalam mentaati aturan, motivasi siswa belajar kurang dan ketidak sesuaian sikap dan prilaku siswa terhadap aturan yang sudah ada; (3) Upaya apa yang dilakukan dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas Vll yaitu memberi teladan untuk disiplin waktu, memberi teladan untuk menaati aturan,selalu mengecek kehadiran siswa, selalu memberi hukuman kepada siswa, Memberi perhatian yang sama kepada semua siswa, Memberi kesempatan siswa untuk mengungkapkan pendapatnya, Memberi kesempatan siswa untuk bertanya, Mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan terkait materi, dan Membiasakan siswa mengerjakan tugasnya. Abstract This research aims to describe how to implement contextual learning in character education. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The subject of this research is the mathematics subject teacher at Tunas Bhakti Middle School and the object of this research is the seventh grade students at Tunas Bhakti Middle School. The results of this research data analysis show: (1) the implementation of character education in the mathematics learning process in class VII includes planning. Learning and assessment processes; (2) Factors inhibiting the implementation of character education in the mathematics learning process in class VII are students' lack of awareness in obeying the rules, students' lack of motivation to learn and a mismatch in students' attitudes and behavior towards existing rules; (3) What efforts are made to implement character education in the learning process in class V, namely setting an example for time discipline, setting an example for obeying the rules, always checking student attendance, always giving punishment to students, giving equal attention to all students, providing opportunities students to express their opinions, give students the opportunity to ask questions, ask questions related to the material, and get students used to doing their assignments.
