Abstract

This research is motivated by the low literacy skills of students in Indonesia. As reported by El-Fikri (2018) that Indonesian people's interest in reading and writing is still low, even in the ASEAN region Indonesia's ranking in this aspect is only above Cambodia and Laos. If the literacy problem is left unchecked and there is no movement that is able to target the right target to make the community and students aware, then this problem will continue to intertwine and get worse. This is a setback for the Indonesian people. Students who are creative in writing will grow into students who have a future. The results of his writings can be a motivation for him to be more creative in writing. The purpose of this study was to find out the description and steps of learning to write using the quantum learning method with hypnosis as an effort to strengthen character through moral messages in the short stories written. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, in this study the researcher describes the picture of learning to write short stories using the quantum learning method with hypnosis and describes the results of the analysis of character values through moral messages in their values. The results of this study produce students who are skilled in writing and have superior characters.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by an increase in student learning outcomes towards the selection of learning models that are attractive and in accordance with student characteristics, and can measure the effectiveness of learning models, and student responses regarding the application of learning models. Especially in learning to write which is still difficult to master, and it requires continuous practice. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes by applying the think talk write model in learning to write fantasy stories, and student responses to the application of the thik talk write model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with research techniques tests, observation, and interviews. The sample of this research is students of class VII-A MTS Darul Ma'arif, as many as 25 students. The results of student acquisition, from the pretest results with the highest score of 77, the lowest score of 40, the average pretest score of 62.56. Ten out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score. While the postest score of the highest score is 95, the lowest score is 65 and the average postest score is 83.48. Twenty-two out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score determined by the school. It can be concluded from the results of the posttest scores obtained an increase in student learning outcomes, on learning to write fantasy stories after using the think talk write model, with an average postest score of 83.48 which is superior. So the application of the think talk write model is declared effective and successful, and gets good responses from students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah proses penerapan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran struktur dan penerapan kebahasaan teks eksposisi, penerapan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran struktur teks eksposisi dan penerapan kebahasaan siswa kelas X (sepuluh) SMA Bina Nusa Purwajaya Tahun 2021-2022. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model problem based learning , mendeskripsikan proses dan penerapan model problem based learning pada pembelajaran struktur teks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan nontes.Sebelum siswa belajar menulis teks eksposisi, siswa terlebih dahulu harus memahami struktur dan kaidah bahasa yang ada dalam teks eksposisi. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pentingnya penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis pembelajaran pada pembelajaran teks eksposisi di kelas, karena model ini akan membantu siswa juga guru untuk solusi pembelajaran teks eksposisi. Hasil dari penelitian penerapan model problem based learning setelah penerapan model problem based learning siswa memperoleh nilai 82 dengan presentase 20% dari 24 orang siswa. Penerapan model ini dikategorikan baik.

Abstract

In the preliminary survey that has been conducted in the classroom, students have the value of poetry writing skills under the minimum completeness criteria that have been set by the school. The background of this study is the low ability to write poetry texts of Junior High School students. Students ' ability to write poetry texts needs to be improved because students must be trained in pouring words with imagination in the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the discovery learning learning model with the help of flipbook media, the results of writing poetry texts after the implementation of the learning model and the activities of teachers and students during the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis techniques. The Data were obtained based on the results of the application of the discovery learning learning model assisted by flipbook media which can improve the writing skills of Al Inayah Kutamukti Junior High School students. The presentation includes: 1) learning syntax, 2) the results of students ' poetry writing skills, and 3) the results of observations of teacher and student activities. The data obtained in this study are presented in Tabular Form and analyzed descriptively. The data processing is done by researchers, namely display, reduction and conclusions. The results of descriptive analysis after the first application, the steps of learning to write poetry texts using the discovery learning method assisted by flipbook media, namely the provision of stimuli or stimuli with flipbook media. 2) identify problems on how to write poetry 3) collect data from several sources facilitated by teachers 4) process information 5) proof and 5) draw conclusions. Second, the value of students in writing poetry obtained an average of 82 with the lowest value of 79 and the highest 86. The Data showed that the results of writing poetry students have reached the minimum criteria of completeness is 75. Then the last activity of teachers and students in the learning process based on the observation of 88% which means it has a good category. These results can be concluded that the learning model of discovery learning assisted by flipbook media is effective for learning to write poetry.

Abstract

This research is the process of applying the problem based learning model in learning the structure and linguistic rules of exposition text, the effectiveness of the feasibility of the problem based learning model in learning to understand the structure of the exposition text and linguistic rules for students of class X (ten) SMA Bina Nusa Purwajaya in the 2021-2022 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of the application of the problem based learning model, to describe the process and results of the application of the problem based learning model in exposition text structure learning. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The research instrument used a test and a non-test. Before students take learning to write an exposition text, students must first understand the structure and linguistic rules used in the exposition text. In this study, we will discuss the importance of using problem based learning methods in learning exposition texts in the classroom, because this model will help students and teachers to find solutions for exposition text learning. The results of the research on the application of the problem based learning model after the application of the problem based learning model students obtained 20%. The application of this model is categorized as good.

Abstract

In the 21st century, it encorages teachers and students to be able to keep up with the times. The 4C skills needed in the 21st century include critical thinking, communication, creative thinking, and collaboration. Process of learning Indonesian there is often a lack of interaction between students and teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the discovery learning method in collaboration with the 4C skills so that the learning process is more impactful and enjoyable. This study aims to determine the response of class X-5 students of SMAN 1 Ngamprah in learning exposition text using discovery learning method. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, the instrument used is a questionnaire in the form of a list of statements addressed to class X-5 students of SMAN 1 Ngamprah. The results of the study concluded that the interest of students in class X-5 with the application of discovery learning method in learning exposition texts was around 93.1% interested and 78% agreed that the discovery learning method in learning exposition texts was effective to be applied to students in class X-5 at SMAN 1 Ngamprah.Keywords:        discovery learning; exposition texts; SMAN 1 Ngamprah

Abstract

This research is motivated by the difficulties of students in understanding the material of explanation text, especially in the structure and rules of language, the difficulty of contemplating ideas and ideas into factual written form, such as the source of teaching material that is presented monotonously and is less varied. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of E-Module teaching materials assisted by the Prezi application in writing explanatory text materials. The research method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The subjects of this research were class VIII C students at SMP Negeri 1 Cikalongwetan. The research results based on observations in the learning process of meetings 1 and 2 reached a percentage of 94% in the "Very Good" category, meaning that the teacher carried out the learning well in accordance with the lesson plans using discovery learning syntax. As for the results of the use of E-Module teaching materials assisted by the Prezi application, it can be concluded that the use of E-Module teaching materials for writing explanatory texts was obtained from student response questionnaires with 95% results in the "Very Good" category.

Abstract

One of the achievement of learning objectives is the use of teaching materials in an interesting and not monotonous way. The application of ICT in learning is able to attract and increase student learning motivation. In the 2013 curriculum students are required to be able to express ideas through writing. However, the problems that are often encountered in the field of writing skills are still considered difficult, especially writing short stories. The use of e-module teaching materials assisted by the Canva application is one of the solutions to solve this problem. The purpose of this research is to find out the results of the use of e-module teaching materials assisted by the Canva application in learning to write short stories using the discovery learning model. The method used is descriptive qualitative with  a  sample  of  class  IX students  at SMP  PGRI 168  Cikalongwetan  by  collecting  data  using observation,  validation  and questionnaire techniques.  The observation  results  show  that  students follow the learning with the syntax that has been prepared according to the lesson plans. The results of the validator obtained a value of 88%, which was feasible for use in the field and the results of the questionnaire showed that it was in the very good category, namely obtaining a value of 87%.

Abstract

Abstract In the 2013 curriculum students are required to master higher order thinking skills (HOTS), this makes students expected to be able to produce what they have learned. One of the abilities students must have is writing persuasive texts, namely texts that are written so that the reader can do something according to what the author wants. This research was conducted to find out how the results of writing persuasive texts of students before and after the application of learning models think talk write with the help of the kinemaster application. In this study, the research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study show the results of writing students' persuasive texts before applying the model think talk write assisted kinemaster gets an average value of 73.8 while after being applied gets an average value of 80.8. Keywords: think talk write, kinemaster, persuasive text.. Abstrak Pada kurikulum 2013 siswa dituntut untuk menguasai higher order thinking skills (HOTS) atau kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi, hal ini membuat siswa diharapkan dapat memproduksi apa yang sudah dipelajarinya. Salah satu keterampilan yang harus dimiliki siswa antara lain adalah kemampuan menulis teks persuasif, yaitu teks yang di tulis agar pembaca dapat melakukan sesuatu sesuai yang diinginkan penulis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil menulis teks persuasif siswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran think talk write berbantuan aplikasi kinemaster. Dalam penelitian ini metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil menulis teks persuasif siswa sebelum penerapan model think talk write berbantuan kinemaster mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 73,8 sedangkan setelah diterapkan mendapat nilai rata-rata 80,8. Kata Kunci: think talk write, kinemaster, teks persuasif.
