Abstract

Genealogy as a system is generally used to preserve a tradition, culture, thought, science, or power. However, in the Raudhatul Muttaqin Mosque, Kotaraja East Lombok and Al-Bayani Mosque, Gondang, North Lombok, this system is actually used to determine the imam, which in Islam and the government there are no rules regarding the obligatory prayer imam from certain descendants. The purpose of the research is to identify how the descendants of Sheikh H. L. Abdurrahman and Amiq Sahabuddin communicate with the community in implementing the genealogical system of mosque imam in Kotaraja and Gondang. The research method used is a qualitative type of a case study and data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews with the generations of Shaykh H. L. Abdurrahman and Amiq Sahabuddin as mosque imam, community leaders, and villagers. The study concluded that the main actors of persuasion to the community are the descendants of the imam who are supported by the power of the message, media, argumentation, psychological appeal, credibility, and legitimacy of the community. The persuasion process of the descendants of the imam displays convincing expressions and contains various values, both religious, customary, social, and educational values, so that the community can accept it well.

Abstract

Banjar Pamali is still used in the life of the Urang Banjar community. However, on the other hand, Banjar pamali are often associated with superstitions and only believe in the supernatural. So that many consider that Banjar pamali is an act of polytheism. This study aims to explain that not all Banjar pamali lead to acts of polytheism and superstition, but there are several verses in Banjar pamali that also contain da'wah values. The data used by the authors in this study are data obtained from literature studies. The collected data will be analyzed semiotically with interpretive techniques. This research is a type of literature review research by looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the cases or problems found. The results of this study prove that there are some da'wah values ​​contained in the Banjar pamali oral tradition, namely sharia values ​​and morals. With that it can be said that Banjar pamali are not all related to superstition or polytheism. because of that there are many more oral literary traditions that are considered tabu and even shirk apart from Banjar pamali even though there are da'wah values ​​in them.

Abstract

Masalah etika umumnya merujuk pada perilaku manusia yang baik dan buruk. Etika diartikan juga sebagai seperangkat aturan yang membedakan benar dan salah dalam berbagai perbuatan dan perbuatan manusia. Kritik memegang peranan penting untuk mengubah suatu keadaan menjadi lebih baik dan maju dari sebelumnya. Namun, banyak kritik yang tidak membangun di zaman modern ini, dan tidak sedikit juga kritik hanya untuk mencari kebenaran saja daripada kebaikan. Lalu ada generasi suara yang mengkritik tanpa menawarkan solusi, dan mengkritik tanpa moralitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah supaya seseorang mampu mengetahui dan memahami cara atau etika berkomunikasi khususnya untuk berdakwah perspektif Al-Quran sehingga dapat berdakwah dengan baik dan bijak, serta mengetahui cara-cara berdakwah kepada pemerintah sebagaimana dilakukan oleh Nabi Musa kepada Fir'aun. Etika yang dimaksud adalah berdakwah dengan perkataan yang lembut dan mendatangi secara langsung objek yang diajak untuk berdakwah. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga nama baik pemerintah sehingga pemerintah masih memiliki izzah di hadapan rakyatnya.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Modern Baitussalam Prambanan merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki peraturan untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan santri. Dengan disiplin, santri akan terlatih dan tekontrol sehingga dapat mengembangkan sikap bertanggung jawab. Faktanya masih ada santri yang melakukan tindak pelanggaran disiplin dan salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan disiplin santri adalah dengan peran pembimbing asrama melalui komunikasi interpersonal. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teori ancangan humanistik untuk efektivitas komunikasi interpersonal menurut Joseph A. Devito yang bersumber dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang berkaitan dengan peran pembimbing asrama dengan santri dalam upaya meningkatkan disiplin santri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan antara pembimbing asrama dengan santri yang sesuai dengan teori Joseph A. Devito, yaitu: keterbukaan (openness); empati (empathy); sikap mendukung (supportiveness); sikap positif (positiveness); dan kesetaraan (equality). Penggunaan bahasa yang tepat dalam menyampaikan nasehat serta arahan yang dilakukan secara langsung dan intensitas juga menjadi faktor pendukung dalam upaya meningkatkan disiplinkan santri. Namun, pelaksaan pembimbingan masih harus berhadapan dengan santri yang memiliki emosi tinggi, mudah putus asa, merasa senior, dan perbedaan kebiasaan serta latar belakang budaya yang berbeda dimana hal tersebut menjadi faktor penghambat yang harus dihadapi dan diselesaikan oleh pembimbing asrama Pondok Pesantren Baitussalam.

Abstract

Penyebaran Islam di seluruh dunia tentu tidak terlepas dari dakwah, tidak terkecuali untuk masyarakat yang ada di Kampung Muallaf Darussalam Kabupaten Pinrang. Penelitian ini menjelaskan strategi dakwah da’i untuk memeperkuat basic keagamaan masyarakat Kampung Muallaf Darussalam disertai dengan faktor pendukung keberhasilan dakwah tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi dakwah da’i dalam memperkuat basic keagamaan masyarakat Kampung Muallaf berupa kajian, kegiatan keagamaan yang dilakukakn setiap minggu dan memberikan akses pendidikan ke pondok pesantran bagi anak-anak, serta berdirinya Kampung Muallaf dan masyarakat dapat menerima dengan baik strategi dakwah yang dilakukan da’i menjadi faktor pendukung. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi khazanah baru untuk strategi dakwah yang digunakan para da’i dalam memperkuat basic keagamaan masyarakat di kampung Muallaf Darussalam.

Abstract

Integrating Sustainable Development Goals into Coffee Shop Operations: Insights from Kedai Kosim, Indonesia The integration of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into small business operations remains a significant challenge, particularly for coffee shop entrepreneurs in developing countries like Indonesia. This study aims to explore how SDGs, specifically SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), are integrated into the operations of Kedai Kosim, a coffee shop in Tulungagung, Indonesia. Using a qualitative autoethnographic approach, the researcher immersed themselves in the business’s operations to analyze sustainability practices. The findings reveal that Kedai Kosim successfully incorporates sustainability into its daily operations by reducing waste, implementing energy-efficient technologies, and fostering local economic growth through fair trade practices. Despite initial challenges, such as high upfront costs for sustainable technologies, the business benefits from enhanced customer loyalty and long-term cost savings. The study highlights the potential for small businesses to contribute to sustainable development, offering practical insights for other coffee entrepreneurs and policymakers. Future research should explore the quantitative impacts of SDG integration and investigate the role of technology in supporting sustainable practices.

Abstract

The growing prominence of short video content in digital marketing highlights its potential as a powerful tool for entrepreneurial ventures to engage audiences and drive business outcomes. However, limited research explores how entrepreneurs navigate the unique affordances of platforms like Instagram Reels, particularly in resource-constrained environments. This study aims to investigate the role of short video marketing in entrepreneurial ventures by employing a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs and analysed thematically to uncover key insights. The findings reveal three dominant themes: creativity and storytelling, strategic resource allocation, and audience engagement dynamics. Entrepreneurs utilized platform-specific features, such as algorithmic amplification and built-in editing tools, to craft compelling narratives and maximize marketing impact. Despite challenges such as algorithm variability, short videos emerged as cost-effective, accessible tools for enhancing brand visibility and consumer interaction. These results contribute to the theoretical discourse on platform affordances and entrepreneurial marketing while providing practical strategies for entrepreneurs to optimize their digital marketing efforts. The study underscores the need for future research on cross-platform dynamics, cultural variations, and the integration of emerging technologies. Implications for entrepreneurship training and policymaking highlight the critical role of short video marketing in shaping the future of digital entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Violent conflict in the name of religion has been causing anxiety amongst societies, including the youth in Cirebon and surrounding areas. Through the efforts of peace-building, a number of youth of different faiths, beliefs and cultures, has declared as an Interfaith Youth Organization or popularly known as “Pelita”. They campaign culture of peace as one of the peace-building efforts with a variety of activities. Pelita is not only utilizing conventional campaign, but also modern campaign by utilizing mass media, social media, and blogs. The conventional campaign hold through a variety of events or activities considered are the best able to persuade the society such as roadshow and peaceful demonstration. Pelita's campaign strategy is also incorporating elements of local wisdom. By using campaign culture of peace, Pelita has been able to encourage the appreciation, participation and minimize the destructive elements of solidarity and community integration.

Abstract

In the 21st century, we are entering an era of uncertain disruption. This also changes the marketing strategy on the wheels of business. Because the pattern of consumer behavior is clearly different from the previous era. The challenge is the extent of consistency in the implementation of sharia marketing management. This is because the financial services industry is a business that requires a high level of trust. The basic concept of Baitul Maal (currently the financial services industry) is to store and distribute to customers. This is to develop the business wheel so that it continues to sustain growth. Then it is necessary Sharia marketing management. Goals, how the company's goals are achieved according to the target. The targeted Sharia marketing management strategy has an impact on consumer decisions in product transactions of the financial services industry. This journal research will discuss how the marketing management strategy of Artha Samudra Indonesia People's Bank (BPR Arsindo) Kediri deals with the challenges of consumer behavior patterns in the era of disruption. This journal research aims to identify and educate the public in increasing financial literacy.
