Abstract

The diverse perceptions of society regarding Islamic banking, often colored by myths and unexplored viewpoints. The objective of this study is to analyze the public's perceptions of myths and facts surrounding Islamic banking, with a specific focus on Bank Muamalat Branch Tulungagung. The research methodology employed is descriptive qualitative, utilizing in-depth interviews and content analysis. The results reveal that despite prevalent myths, Islamic banking, particularly Bank Muamalat, offers transparent, secure, and cost-competitive services. Furthermore, it is found that Islamic banking is not exclusive to Muslims but accessible to the entire community. These findings contribute positively to understanding the socio-economic dynamics of the community, highlighting the strengths of Islamic banking, and providing a foundation for further research and development in the Islamic banking industry

Abstract

Fokus penelitian ini adalah kemungkinan, peran, pendukung, dan penghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi Islam di masyarakat, khususnya di Pondok Pesantren. tidak hanya mendapatkan pendidikan agama, tetapi juga mendapatkan keterampilan dan keahlian yang diperlukan untuk memberdayakan ekonomi masyarakat. Studi ini berfokus pada Pondok Pesantren Kerja ABA Tulungagung dan Darul Huda Blitar. Untuk memastikan validitas data, metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren memiliki peran, potensi, dan dukungan dalam membangun ekonomi Islam masyarakat. Namun, hambatan utamanya adalah kurangnya komunikasi karyawan, kurangnya kerja sama masyarakat, dan kekurangan ahli ekonomi Islam

Abstract

The Wisdom of Ramadan rubric is a religious rubric owned by the Malut Post Newspaper. The purpose of this study is to find out how journalistic language is used in writing religious rubrics in the Malut Post newspaper and what mistakes are often made in writing this rubric. This research uses content analysis method, with filling system technique by Wimmer and Dominick. From the research conducted, there are research results, namely (1) the use of journalistic language in writing religious rubrics in the Malut Post newspaper is in accordance with the use of journalistic language, and has followed journalistic writing standards but not perfectly. Therefore, it cannot be denied that there are still mistakes that occur in writing religious rubrics. (2) There are several mistakes made repeatedly in writing religious rubrics such as the use of capital letters, wasting words, writing EYD/KBBI, clarity of messages, mistakes in using punctuation marks, and mistakes in using italics. Therefore, with this research, print media should have repeated and detailed checks in accordance with journalistic language or good and correct language.

Abstract

The phenomenon of declining social concern among the younger generation highlights the growing importance of instilling character education based on religious values from an early age. One form of implementing these values is the daily infaq movement carried out in elementary schools. This study was conducted at SDN Kepanjenkidul 1, Blitar City, which regularly organizes an infaq program every Friday along with a daily savings activity managed by classroom teachers. The program functions not only as a social activity but also as an educational medium for Islamic philanthropy that is relevant to students’ character formation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects consisted of 70 students (34 boys and 36 girls) and 8 teachers. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles & Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The findings indicate that the daily infaq activity generates an average fund of IDR 24,000–30,000 per week, managed simply yet transparently by the classroom teachers. Moreover, the daily savings program contributes to training students in personal financial management and promoting a thrifty lifestyle. Teachers perceive this activity as effective in developing caring attitudes, a spirit of sharing, and a sense of togetherness among students.Thus, the implementation of the daily infaq movement at SDN Kepanjenkidul 1, Blitar City, has proven to be not only socially beneficial but also educationally significant. This program successfully internalizes religious, social, economic, and character values simultaneously, making it a potential model for Islamic philanthropic education in elementary schools

Abstract

In 2020-2021 there has been much discussion of the pros and cons of the Draft Law on the Rancangan Undang-Undang Penghapusan Kekerasan Seksual (RUU-PKS) in online media. Each media has its own ideology, therefore this study aims to look at the framing of two media with different ideologies in reporting the RUU-PKS. The media are Suara.com and Hidayatullah.com where it can be seen that the media's attitude is in the form of pros or cons towards the RUU-PKS. This study uses a qualitative methodology of collecting news documents which are then taken as samples through a purposive sampling technique. Researchers used Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki's framing analysis model to analyze the samples. Researchers found that Suara.com and Hidayatullah.com prioritize speed in providing information and prioritize media ideology so that it is very clear in giving partiality to the pros and cons. The findings are in the form of a comparative thing between the online media Suara.com and Hidayatullah.com. It was found that Suara.com sided with the ratification of the RUU-PKS. While Hidayatullah.com is on the opposite side of the ratification of the bill. This is shown by the way the two media forms framing, starting from giving titles, emphasizing facts, and so on. As online media whose content spreads quickly, Suara.com and Hidayatullah.com should consider whether their publications can make conditions worse or calm conditions.Keywords: Framing, Issues of RUU-PKS, Media Differences, Media Ideology
