Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the capacity of Islamic boarding school caregivers in preparing masagi students through in-house training and focus group discussions. Capacity Building for caregivers of Syamsul Ulum Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school in preparing masagi students, among others: by joining extra-curricular and making cooperation with Bapelkes Krakatau Steel and R-Mifa cageur; By making habits of worship, doing good attitude and doing routine activities at Islamic boarding school or school bageur, bener, by learning religious based science at Islamic boarding school and general based science at MTs and SMA or pinter, and by practice of field's dedication, training of multimedia and public speaking and joining seminar on entrepreneurship or singer. Yet, facilitating of singer aspects especially life skills training or programs on entrepreneurship has not been optimal yet. The obstacles there are no program of life skills training or entrepreneurship, no human resources which focuses in applying both programs, entrepreneurship learning is still co-curricular at senior high school and limitations of budget and facilities. The solutions which can be done are Islamic boarding school make specific program about life skills training or entrepreneurship agree with students' interest and talent, prepare a caregiver of Islamic boarding school who focuses in applying those programs and prepare special budget for training programs and providing facilities .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media on the learning achievement of fourth-grade students in learning mathematics at MI Tembongsari Cihampelas. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques used include observation, testing, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is the analysis of observation results, the N-Gain test, and the T-Test test. The results of this study indicate that the use of audio-visual media significantly affects student achievement in learning mathematics. Through the N-Gain test, the results obtained were 0.67 with a percentage of 67%, which was interpreted as quite effective, and through the T-test, the t-count results were greater than the t-table (24.75 > 2.035). This result means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, namely that there is a positive effect of the use of audio-visual media on student achievement in learning mathematics in class IV MI Tembongsari Cihampelas.

Abstract

The Data-Based Planning Workshop in Education Quality Assurance in Elementary Schools Pamulihan District, Sumedang Regency aims to increase the understanding and skills of educators in planning educational policies and programs based on valid and relevant data. Through this workshop, participants are expected to be able to identify, collect and analyze data to support more effective decision making in improving the quality of education in elementary schools. The main focus of this workshop is to educate participants about the importance of using data in educational planning, as well as how to analyze and implement data to achieve better educational goals. Apart from that, this workshop also highlighted the importance of monitoring and evaluation in ensuring the sustainability of data-based planning. It is hoped that by implementing this concept, elementary schools can achieve more measurable and sustainable improvements in the quality of education.

Abstract

Kebijakan pengangkatan kepala sekolah dan pengawas sekolah dari guru penggerak merupakan langkah progresif dalam transformasi pendidikan di Kabupaten Garut, Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengungkap dampak positif kebijakan tersebut dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengelolaan sekolah serta meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Meskipun menawarkan manfaat besar, kebijakan ini dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti resistensi dari pihak lama, kesulitan dalam perubahan budaya organisasi, dan sulitnya membangun kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait. Diperlukan pendekatan komprehensif yang melibatkan semua pihak terkait, fokus pada profesionalisme, komunikasi efektif, manajemen perubahan, serta komitmen terhadap etika dan integritas. Dengan pendekatan holistik dan berkelanjutan, diharapkan kebijakan ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang lebih efektif, inklusif, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis penerapan Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dalam mengukur kinerja SMK Negeri 10 Garut sebagai SMK Pusat Keunggulan. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian ini menggambarkan implementasi BSC untuk mengukur kinerja sekolah dari berbagai perspektif, termasuk keuangan, pelanggan internal dan eksternal, pertumbuhan dan pembelajaran, serta proses bisnis internal. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa SMK Negeri 10 Garut memiliki kinerja yang sangat baik dalam berbagai aspek yang diukur melalui BSC. Sekolah ini berhasil menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung bagi stakeholder internal dan eksternal, serta mampu mengidentifikasi dan mengambil langkah-langkah untuk pertumbuhan dan pengembangan yang berkelanjutan. Analisis juga menunjukkan bahwa proses bisnis internal sekolah berjalan dengan baik.Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penggunaan BSC dalam mengukur kinerja sekolah secara holistik, tidak hanya dari segi prestasi akademis tetapi juga kepuasan stakeholder dan efisiensi proses internal. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam memahami kinerja SMK dalam konteks relevansi dan efektivitas pendidikan di Indonesia.
