Abstract

This text discusses the editing of Indonesian language manuscripts using various linguistic techniques, encompassing on-screen and manual editing. Academic and developer-created editing applications for Android-based apps and web pages facilitate on-screen editing. Notable programs include jasa.id, lektur.id, typoonline.com, typograp.com, and SIPEBI (Indonesian Spelling Editing). These applications provide features to enhance the editing process for Indonesian language users, each having distinct strengths and weaknesses. They detect elements like standardized and non-standardized words, spelling variations, including capitalization, prepositions, numbers, and typing errors. Generalizing these aspects across sections is challenging, necessitating varied handling and corrections for each text or document. While these programs streamline editing, manual editing remains crucial due to unknown factors. Despite its time-consuming nature, manual editing excels in accuracy and coverage. In summary, these applications play a valuable role, but manual editing is indispensable for comprehensive and precise language refinement.

Abstract

Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dampak faktor-faktor seperti kualitas produk, citra merek (brand image), dan lifestyle terhadap keputusan pembelian di kalangan mahasiswa di Kota Medan melalui platform Shopee. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan penggunaan teknik convenience sampling untuk menentukan sampel. Sampel dipilih secara acak tanpa memperhatikan kedudukan dalam populasi yang homogen. Untuk memastikan distribusi sampel yang merata, populasi juga diacak. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket, lalu pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yakni kualitas produk mempunyai dampak konkret mengenai keputusan pembelian di aplikasi Shopee, sedangkan brand image dan lifestyle tidak mempunyai dampak mengenai keputusan pembelian di platform tersebut. Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of democracy education based on Pancasila in the context of the election of the Student Council Chairman at SMPN 41 MEDAN. Strong democracy education plays a key role in shaping students' character and leadership, as well as facilitating active participation in school life. Through understanding and implementing the values of democracy, students can be equipped with the skills and attitudes needed to become responsible and integrity-driven citizens. The research method used is qualitative research. One type of qualitative research used is ethnographic research to understand the dynamics of democracy in the school environment. The results show that understanding democracy, educating about examples of democracy in everyday life, and providing an understanding of citizenship rights are important steps in strengthening democratic values among students
