Abstract

Abstrak Dunia pendidikan selalu memberikan proses baru dalam perjalanannya, hal itu bisa saja terjadi karena aktivitas komponen pendidikan salah satunya pada keberagaman siswa. Keberagaman siswa mencakup berbagai aspek, yang meliputi perbedaan akademik, latar belakang budaya, gaya belajar, minat, serta kebutuhan menjadi perspektif baru yang menantang dengan mewujudkan pembelajaran yang varians. Keberagaman ini membuat pelaksanaan pendidikan perlu dijalankan sedemikian rupa melalui beberapa pendekatan pembelajaran yang salah satunya pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada pelajaran PPKn di SMP Negeri 39 Surabaya. Untuk jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif melalui metode pengamatan, baik secara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini adalah ditemukan penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang terlaksana dengan baik melalui beberapa aspek. Pada penerapannya, aspek proses diwujudkan dengan pembelajaran diskusi dan tanya jawab serta diselingi dengan permainan belajar yang interaktif. Aspek konten, diwujudkan dengan pemberian topik berbeda sesuai kompetensi kelompok siswa yang terwujud dari materi pembahasan berbeda dalam satu topik, dan untuk aspek produk yang mana siswanya diberikan kebebasan untuk mengumpulkan hasil proses belajarnya seperti dengan penampilan presentasi maupun produk simulasi seperti tarian, drama, dan yang lainnya. Hal ini diharapkan mampu memerdekakan segala komponen pendidikan, baik guru dan siswa. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi, PPKn, SMP Negeri 39 Surabaya

Abstract

Religious tolerance is universally important, especially in Indonesia itself. Remembering the journey from the time of the Majapahit Kingdom to the Renaissance period when tolerance became the real basis of people's lives. Religious tolerance is not only imagined as being together of different things but embodying the unity of different behind diversity to achieve the common goal of equality. That is the step and purpose of researchers in analyzing the conditions and environment of the Bejijong village community. Researchers use descriptive qualitative research with observation methods, interviews, and literature studies. Based on what has been found, religious tolerance in Bejijong village is very good with the showing of community activities and activities that illustrate the value of tolerance, such as interfaith dialogue, cultural festivals, and the appearance of the environment seen from the diversity of buildings with the presence of characteristics that accompany each other from various religions.

Abstract

In schools, paper waste is a serious problem because high usage for assignments, duplication of materials, and administration is not balanced with effective waste management, so waste paper is often thrown away without being recycled, leading to waste accumulation and negative impacts on the environment. To overcome this, activities with a service learning (SL) approach are carried out, integrating student learning with community service. This approach not only allows students to apply the knowledge gained in the classroom, but also develops social skills, empathy, and responsibility. This activity went through the stages of problem identification, planning, service implementation, reflection, demonstration, evaluation, and sustainable development, attended by 25 students of SMP Negeri 16 Surabaya and supported by the Surabaya City Environmental Agency, as well as PPG students of the State University of Surabaya. The result was the creation of a 3-dimensional map of Indonesia's islands from paper waste, which showed good enthusiasm and student participation.

Abstract

Tlocor Marine Tourism-Lusi Island, located in Sidoarjo, East Java, is an ecotourism destination that combines environmental conservation and local community empowerment. This study aims to analyze the role of tourism in the context of environmental conservation and empowerment of the surrounding community. The data were collected through field observations, interviews with five main informants (tourism coordinators, POKDARWIS members, and local communities), and documentation. In addition, numerical data were also added, including visitor information, community participation levels, economic influence, and environmental benefits to strengthen the analysis. The results of the study show that the Mangrove ecosystem is well maintained, functioning as a tourist attraction as well as a buffer for the coastal ecosystem. However, inadequate transportation access, lack of digital promotion, and low community participation are the main challenges. Nevertheless, the existence of this tourism has increased environmental awareness and created economic opportunities for the local community. With infrastructure support, better promotion, and optimal community involvement, Tlocor Marine Tourism-Lusi Island has great potential to develop into a leading ecotourism destination. Finally, this study emphasizes the importance of collaborative efforts between environmental conservation and community empowerment in sustainable ecotourism management.

Abstract

This service activity aims to increase students' creativity in the Teaching Campus Program and their skills in writing scientific papers. The Teaching Campus Program provides opportunities for students to apply the knowledge learned in college to the surrounding world of education, as well as hone practical skills that are important in the world of work. In addition, students also need to be equipped with knowledge and understanding of the importance of scientific writing as a means of sharing the knowledge they have. The method used in this activity is Participation Action Research (PAR), which integrates theory with practice that has been carried out. The results of the service showed a considerable change in the students' ability to organize ideas, formulate scientific arguments, and increase their confidence in writing, which was seen from the number of subjects who were before and after the training. The success of this activity will also affect the development of students' character in facing the challenges of the world of work. Further developments in scientific writing training and the use of technology can have a wider impact.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menekan penyebaran berita bohong (hoax) di masyarakat khususnya mahasiswa dengan membudayakan perilaku BTS (Baca, Teliti, Sebarkan) di era Society 5.0. Dalam konteks informasi yang mudah tersebar melalui gadget, berita bohong (hoax) kerap menjadi permasalahan yang meresahkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah studi kasus kualitatif untuk menggambarkan fenomena tersebut secara alami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan budaya BTS (Baca, Teliti, Sebarkan) di kalangan masyarakat informatif khususnya mahasiswa dapat meminimalisir berita bohong (hoax). Dengan membiasakan diri membaca, meneliti, dan menyebarluaskan informasi yang valid, masyarakat khususnya mahasiswa diharapkan dapat lebih kritis dan peduli dalam menyikapi informasi yang diterima, sekaligus mencegah berita bohong (hoax) berkembang lebih jauh dan berkepanjangan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the still dominant lecture method in learning Pancasila Education at the junior high school level, which causes low student involvement. As technology develops, multimedia can be a solution to increase the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to explore students' perception of the use of multimedia in learning Pancasila Education at SMPN 16 Surabaya. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The sample consisted of 20 students in class 8B who were selected using convenience sampling. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of PowerPoint, learning videos, regional song videos, and digital and printed LKPD increases student engagement and understanding. The Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning supports these findings, which suggests that the combination of visual and audio elements can improve students' comprehension. However, internet access constraints in the digital LKPD are still a challenge. In conclusion, multimedia increases the effectiveness of Pancasila Education learning. However, it is necessary to improve infrastructure and teacher training so that the use of multimedia is more optimal and inclusive for students.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan guru Pendidikan Pancasila dan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) SMA Kota Surabaya mengalami kendala dalam menulis artikel dan publikasi untuk syarat kenaikan jabatan. Pengabdian pada masyarakat (PPM) dilakukan kelompok dosen PPKn Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya bekerja sama dengan dosen PPKn Universitas Negeri Surabaya bertujuan mendampingi para guru PPKn SMA Kota Surabaya. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini 1) Meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap teknik penulisan ilmiah; 2) Meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap metode dan sistem publikasi; 3) Meningkatkan jumlah karya ilmiah terutama artikel dari guru; 4) Menjalankan dan melaksanakan tri dharma pendidikan, terutama pengabdian pada masyarakat oleh dosen. Metode yang dipakai adalah in service training, melalui ceramah, diskusi, presentasi, dan on service training dengan membantu pada perencanaan penelitian, kemajuan penelitian, penyusunan, dan penulisan artikel serta pengunggahan pada jurnal. Hasil dari PPM ini adalah peserta memahami konsep penulisan ilmiah, membuat, dan menyusun artikel serta mengunggahnya ke jurnal nasional terakreditasi. PPM ini terdefinisi dengan baik karena pemahaman peserta terhadap materi lebih baik, banyak respons positif peserta pelatihan, dan ada peserta pelatihan yang menulis artikel ilmiah dan menerbitkannya pada Jurnal Pacivic

Abstract

The development of digital technology provides great opportunities for students to be entrepreneurs with smaller capital and wider access to marketing. However, not all students are able to survive in their businesses because they face various challenges, such as limited capital, market competition, and time management between college and business. This research aims to explore the motivations and challenges of students in running a business in the digital era, as well as the strategies they apply to overcome these obstacles. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach, involving observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of entrepreneurial students. The results of the study show that students are encouraged to be entrepreneurial because of economic factors, time flexibility, and personal interest in business. Most use Instagram and WhatsApp as the main marketing platforms, but face obstacles in capital management and digital competition. To overcome these challenges, students implement pre-order strategies, collaboration with suppliers and marketplaces, as well as digital marketing and branding. This study recommends support from universities in the form of entrepreneurship training and access to funding, so that students can be better prepared to face digital business competition.
