Abstract

Takjil sharing activities during the month of Ramadan are a form of social concern that involves students in community service. This research aims to develop a structured takjil sharing program and evaluate its social impact on the beneficiary community. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which actively involves students in each stage of the activity. The results of the study showed that this activity ran smoothly despite several obstacles such as delays in distribution and student fatigue. The implemented solutions, such as a more equitable distribution of tasks and a more efficient distribution system, successfully solved the problem. This program not only provides social benefits to the community but also enriches the student experience in social service. Going forward, the importance of careful planning and the involvement of more parties will increase the sustainability and impact of these activities.

Abstract

The research is motivated by conventional learning methods in learning Pancasila Education in junior high schools, causing low student involvement. Along with the development of technology, multimedia is a solution to increase the effectiveness of learning. The research aims to explore students' perception of the use of multimedia in learning Pancasila Education at SMPN 16 Surabaya. The research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The sample consisted of 20 students in class 8B who were selected using convenience sampling. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of PowerPoint, learning videos, regional songs, and digital and printed LKPD increases student engagement and understanding. The Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning supports these findings, suggesting the combination of visual and audio elements improves student comprehension. However, the obstacle to digital LKPD internet access is still a challenge. In conclusion, multimedia increases the effectiveness of Pancasila Education learning. However, it is necessary to improve infrastructure and teacher training so that the use of multimedia is optimal and inclusive for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) in building the value of unity and social character in SMPN 9 Surabaya students. This project is designed to introduce and internalize the values of Pancasila, which include cooperation and unity towards diversity, among students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) has succeeded in strengthening students' social character, improving their ability to work together in groups, and strengthening social bonds between students. Activities such as making processed foods, beverages, and eco-print batik provide opportunities for students to develop practical skills while enhancing a sense of unity and sociality. Data obtained from observations and interviews revealed that students felt closer to their peers and were more able to cooperate after participating in this activity. However, challenges such as limited time and resources are still an obstacle in the implementation of this project. Therefore, it is recommended to improve training for teachers, involve parents and the community, and conduct periodic evaluations of the implementation of the program to ensure its effectiveness. Further research is needed to explore solutions to existing challenges.
