Abstract

Concern for mental health is an important aspect that volunteers must have. Assigned to provide voluntary assistance to the community, opponents need to have insight into maintaining mental health in order to manage emotions and help people in disaster locations who need recovery, especially from the psychological aspect. This research aims to find out the mental health concerns of volunteers by providing Psychological First Aid (PFA) training. The research method used is a quantitative research model with experimental methods. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design with 30 subjects. In this research plan, the researcher used one experimental group with a control group which began by giving a pre-test to each group. The experimental group was given treatment while the control group was not given treatment. At the end of the research a post test was given to both groups. Based on the normality test, it was stated that the pre-test results obtained a significance value of 0.090 (>0.05), so the data was declared to be normally distributed. Meanwhile, the post test results obtained a significance value of 0.004 (<0.05), so the data was declared not normally distributed. Therefore, hypothesis analysis was carried out using a non-parametric test with the Wilcoxon formula and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) was obtained so that PFA training was effective in increasing mental health awareness in volunteers. ABSTRAKKepedulian terhadap kesehatan mental (mental health awareness) menjadi aspek penting yang harus dimiliki oleh para relawan. Bertugas untuk memberikan pertolongan secara sukarela kepada masyarakat, maka relawan perlu mendapatkan wawasan mengenai pemeliharaan kesehatan mental agar dapat mengelola emosi dan membantu masyarakat di lokasi bencana yang membutuhkan pemulihan terutama dari aspek psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepedulian kesehatan mental para relawan dengan memberikan pelatihan Psychological First Aid (PFA). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan subyek sebanyak 30 orang. Pada rancangan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol yang diawali dengan pemberian pre test pada setiap kelompok. Kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak diberikan perlakuan. Pada akhir penelitian diberikan post test kepada kedua kelompok. Berdasarkan uji normalitas dinyatakan bahwa hasil pre test diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.090 (>0.05), maka data dinyatakan berdistribusi normal. Sedangkan pada hasil post test diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.004 (<0.05), maka data dinyatakan tidak berdistribusi normal. Oleh karena itu, analisis hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji non parametrik dengan formula wilcoxon dan diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 (<0.05) sehingga Pelatihan PFA efektif untuk meningkatkan mental health awareness pada relawan.

Abstract

Sleep is one of the factors of optimal health and vitality. Sleep quality       is the measurement on how well you are sleeping, whether your sleep is restful, restorative, and healthful. Addressing sleep problems early-on is important to help protect your overall health. An underlying sleep disorder or a medical condition might be playing a role in your sleep issues. With the COVID-19 pandemic implementation of lockdown, people’s sleep quality has begun to be disturbed and mental disorders have increased in Indonesia. To find out if sleep quality, mental health, and pandemic in Senior High School GIS Students are related to each other. The type of the study in this paper is quantitative research. To convene the data, the author handed out an online questionnaire to 50 students of Senior High GIS. Pearson’s correlation statistical test had a significant result that there was a relationship between the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on sleep quality and mental health. Sleep quality can be affected to the mental health by the effect of COVID-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengusung tema pelatihan public speaking yang bertujuan untuk dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat khususnya remaja masjid Al Hadad Sawangan Depok. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan soft skill remaja masjid Al Hadad terutama dalam keterampilan berkomunikasi di depan public. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga dapat melatih kepercayaan diri peserta pelatihan maupun masyarakat pada umumnya

Abstract

Orangtua memiliki peran besar terhadap tumbuh kembang anak, khususnya dalam pembentukan aspek sosio-emosional. Permasalahan tantrum umum dialami oleh anak-anak prasekolah yang mengekspresikan kemarahan dengan menangis, berteriak, hingga menghentak-hentakkan kaki atau pun berguling dilantai untuk mendapatkan apa yang anak kehendaki, yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai perilaku buruk berdasarkan perspektif sebagian orangtua. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi orangtua siswa terhadap penanganan temper tantrum anak usia dini dengan mengoptimalkan buku saku sebagai penunjang pola asuh. Pemberian buku saku diharapkan dapat mempermudah orangtua untuk memahami perilaku temper tantrum serta cara alternatif yang dapat dilakukan untuk memulihkan perilaku tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket secara online, wawancara, dan observasi kepada orangtua siswa di TK IT X Kota Depok pada tahun ajaran baru 2024/2025. Harapan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini agar para orangtua yang memiliki anak usia dini lebih memahami secara positif perilaku tantrum dan bisa menerapkan pola asuh yang efektif untuk menangani permasalahan perilaku anak, agar anak menjadi lebih baik dari aspek sosio-emosionalnya baik ketika berada di rumah, sekolah, mau pun di fasilitas umum.

Abstract

Marriage is actually a sacred and beautiful thing that can be a precious moment in a person's life, but in reality living a household ark is not easy, the occurrence of early marriage often before emotional maturity is fully reached will cause heavy emotional pressure and risk as well, therefore the research using this case study method wants to examine how the quality of marriage and mental health status Women who marry at an early age, in completing this study using qualitative research, case studies with in-depth interview methods and observations, factors that affect the quality of marriage in women who marry at an early age, the role of mental health in maintaining the harmony of marriage relationships and steps taken to improve the quality of marriage and mental health in women who marry at an early age.

Abstract

Banyak orang tua mengalami kesulitan dalam menangani temper tantrum anak di tempat umum akibat kurangnya pemahaman mengenai penyebab dan strategi penanganan yang tepat. Di TK IT X Depok, beberapa orang tua melaporkan bahwa mereka cenderung menggunakan metode yang kurang efektif, seperti menuruti keinginan anak atau memberikan respons yang terlalu keras. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya intervensi edukatif agar orang tua memiliki strategi yang lebih tepat dalam merespons tantrum anak. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan psikoedukasi kepada orang tua murid di TK IT X Depok mengenai strategi efektif dalam menangani temper tantrum anak di tempat umum. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 80 peserta, yang terdiri dari orang tua murid dan tenaga pendidik. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi interaktif, serta pembagian buku saku pola asuh sebagai panduan bagi orang tua. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman orang tua terkait penyebab, tanda-tanda, serta teknik penanganan tantrum yang lebih tepat dan positif. Selain itu, orang tua lebih percaya diri dalam menghadapi tantrum anak di lingkungan publik tanpa menggunakan metode yang kontraproduktif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua terhadap pola asuh yang lebih bijaksana, sehingga mendukung perkembangan sosio-emosional anak secara optimal.

Abstract

Early language development is crucial for children’s cognitive and social growth. This study aims to investigate the relationship between parental linguistic stimulation, emotional support, and children’s speaking ability. The research involved 30 preschool and kindergarten children at KB-TK Amanah Qurani in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected using questionnaires completed by teachers and parents. Due to non-normal distribution in two variables, Spearman Rank Correlation was used for analysis. Results show significant positive correlations among all variables. Parental linguistic stimulation and emotional support are strongly correlated (? = 0.735, p < 0.001). Children’s speaking ability has a moderate positive correlation with linguistic stimulation (? = 0.573, p = 0.001) and a strong positive correlation with emotional support (? = 0.640, p < 0.001). These findings indicate that higher parental involvement in language and emotional development is associated with better speaking skills in early childhood. This study emphasizes the vital role of both cognitive and emotional support in language acquisition and recommends greater focus on parent-child interaction in early education programs.

Abstract

Premarital counseling is increasingly recognized as important in Indonesia, yet the influence of attachment styles and relationship conditions on counseling needs among young adults is not well understood. This study examined the distribution of attachment styles, relationship conditions, and demographics, and their effect on the perceived need for premarital counseling. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 480 young adults aged 18–40 using self-report questionnaires, and rare-event penalized logistic regression accounted for the highly unbalanced outcome. Results showed moderate levels of secure, disorganized, anxious, and avoidant attachment, with secure attachment slightly more common. Almost all participants (99.4%) reported needing premarital counseling. Regression analysis indicated that higher secure attachment scores were positively associated with counseling needs (OR = 1.82). Most participants were single, without children, and reported neutral to positive relationship conditions. These findings suggest young adults recognize the value of premarital counseling for emotional preparation and relational skill development, highlighting the need for interventions tailored to individual attachment profiles. Counseling programs should be culturally sensitive, adaptable, and attachment-informed, emphasizing communication, conflict resolution, and self-reflection to support long-term relationship satisfaction. Future research should adopt longitudinal and mixed-method approaches to better understand motivations and counseling needs.
