Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi teks eksposisi bagi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lewolema serta untuk mengetahui efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan menulis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dan dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri atas tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap observasi, dan tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Lewolema tahun ajaran 2024/2025 yang berjumlah 19 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tahap observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan keterlibatan siswa selama pembelajaran dan interaksi antar siswa dalam memecahkan masalah. Melalui tahapan Problem based learning (PBL) seperti identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, diskusi kelompok, dan presentase hasil siswa lebih terdorong untuk berpikir kritis dan menyampaikan pendapat secara logis dan terstruktur. Selain itu hasil tes menunjukan adanya peningkatan nilai siswa dari siklus I sebesar 64,21 dan ke siklus II sebesar 86,31. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Problem Based Learning efektif diterapkan pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Lewolema dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada materi teks eksposis karena mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan menulis siswa.

Abstract

This research article aims to describe the meaning in the expression marriage gate in Boru Kedang Village, Wulanggitang District. The kawen gate ceremony or traditional marriage uses traditional expressions as a distinctive language that contains useful meanings that show community identity. This study uses the basis of semantic theory. The method used is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data is oral data in the form of expressions in the kawen gate ceremony. Sources of data for informants are traditional leaders. Data collection was carried out by interviewing and documentation techniques. Data analysis uses data selection techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data processing using research results. The meaning of traditional expressions in the traditional kawen gate ceremony in Boru Kedang, Wulanggitang District, East Flores Regency, consists of denotative meaning and connotative meaning, namely (1) denotative meaning in the expression of the stages of baung basa (know the house), (2) denotative meaning in the expression of the stages of bataan biat (return visit), (3) denotative meaning of the expression in the stages of pana laran tadan kila (exchanging rings), 4) denotative meaning of the expression in the stage of wua malu gere (penghataran belis), (5) denotative meaning of the expression at the stage of dokang turu (delivering the bride to the aisle), (6) the connotative meaning of the expression of the stages of baung basa (know the house), and, (7) kusang hebo (washing hair).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of morphological affixation errors in students' narrative essays, especially prefixes, suffixes, infixes, and confixes. The subjects of this study were students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah Lamahala. The data collected amounted to twenty narrative essays. The method used in this research is qualitative method . After the data is collected from the results of the analysis in written form. The analysis technique used is note-taking technique and reading technique. In composing narrative essays students are asked to write narrative essays in the form of personal experiences related to life stories both about family, friends, environmental conditions and others. The results of this study showed that of the twenty narrative essays analyzed, all students' narrative essays were obtained, namely the use of prefixes with 26 errors, 11 errors in the use of suffixes, and 3 errors in the use of confixes. Meanwhile, the use of infixes did not find errors.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the conversational code switching of SMA Negeri 1 Adonara Barat, East Flores district. The theory used is sociolinguistic theory. The method used is a qualitative method. The research data is in the form of student conversations. The data source is Adonana Barat 1 Public High School students who are having a conversation. The results of this study indicate (1) the form of language code switching in the conversations of students of SMA Negeri 1 Adonara Barat is internal code switching and external code switching, (2) the causes of language code switching in the conversations of students of SMA Negeri 1 Adonara Barat are, code switching is not directly to the interlocutor, the influence of the speaking situation, the influence of the presence of a third person, and the influence of language practice.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the types of syntactic errors in the descriptivetext of class VII SMPK St. Isidorus Lewotala. The problem discussed is what are the types of syntactic errors in the description text of class VII students of SMPK St. Isidorus Lewotala. Language errors are basically caused by the person who uses the language in question, not the language he uses. The theory used is the theory of language errors put forward by Setyawati with three possible causes of language errors, namely being influenced by the language that was previously mastered, the language user's lack of understanding of the language he uses, and language teaching that is inappropriate or imperfect. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method and the approach used is a qualitative approach. The source of the data in this study were class VII students of SMPK St. Isidorus Lewotala. The data collected is in the form of phrases, sentences which are included in the types of syntax errors in the descriptive text. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by identifying errors, classifying errors, presenting data and drawing conclusions. This research was conducted at SMPK St. Isidorus Lewotala, Lewotala village, Lewolema sub-district, East Flores district. The results of this study indicate that there are four types of syntactic errors in the field of phrases consisting of: 1) inappropriate use of prepositions, 2) inappropriate wording, 3) excessive use of elements, and 4) double pluralization. There are five types of syntactic errors in the field of sentences, including: 1) sentences without a subject, 2) stump sentences, 3) excessive use of conjunctions, 4) use of foreign terms, and 5) use of unnecessary question words.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning of the koke bale ceremony in Lewomuda Village, Demon Pagong District. Koke bale is a series of traditional ceremonies that are carried out before the community prepares the land to start the planting process. The theory used in Koke Bale's research is semantic theory. This study also uses qualitative methods supported by data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the koke bale ceremony is a traditional ceremony held in Lewomuda Village, Demon Pagong District. There are eleven important parts in the process of carrying out the koke bale ceremony, namely: kote mada, take koke, tane tenane, take tada, mara, towe lodge, ura mau, butung kewura, goleng, eat together, and hode ilu. In the koke bale ceremony, there are five meanings namely, (1) religious meaning, (2) brotherhood meaning, (3) respect meaning, (4) success meaning, and (5) self-protection meaning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan variasi bahasa Lamaholot dialek Waibalun, kelurahan Waibalun kecamatan Larantuka kabupaten Flores Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variasi bahasa Lamaholot dialek Waibalun, kelurahan Waibalun kecamatan Larantuka kabupaten Flores Timur, yaitu (1) variasi dialek dalam segi pengucapan dan pelafalan, (2) variasi dialek dalam konteks dialek campuran (perbedaan dialek), (3) variasi dialek dari segi pilihan kata (diksi), (4) variasi dialek yang kata kerja (verba) berubah sesuai subjek, (5) variasi dialek yang berubah berdasarkan waktu (penggunaan kata keterangan), (6) variasi dialek pada penggunaan kata sifat, (7) variasi dialek penggunaan dialek zaman dulu yang berubah dari waktu ke waktu, (8) variasi dialek dengan konteks penggunaan bahasa yang khas dan unik, (9) variasi dialek penggunaan kata penghubung, (10) variasi dialek penggunaan kata dalam kalimat yang mengungkapkan perasaan, (11) variasi dialek penggunaan kalimat resmi, (12) variasi penggunaan ragam akrab, (13) variasi dialek penggunaan kata sapaan, dan (14) variasi penggunaan makna kata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan berbahasa tataran morfologi dalam karangan narasi siswa kelas Xi IPS SMA Negeri 1 Lewolema. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian adalah, (1) Analisis kesalahan berbahasa pada tataran morfologi dalam karangan narasi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lewolema menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan terbesar terjadi pada penulisan prefiks, dan (2) Faktor penyebab kesalahan berbahasa morfologi pada teks narasi siswa meliputi: (a) kurangnya perhatian siswa terhadap pengajaran guru, (b) penguasaan kaidah morfologi yang belum memadai, (c) minimnya latihan menulis sesuai dengan kaidah bahasa Indonesia, (d) terbatasnya waktu untuk menulis teks dan karangan, (e) ketidaktelitian siswa saat menyusun teks narasi, dan (f) kebiasaan berbahasa siswa yang kurang tepat.

Abstract

Assistance in writing fairy tales for students at school is very important. Fairy tales are stories from the animal world that aim to entertain as well as a medium of moral education. Fable writing skills can only be achieved through directed, guided, and continuous practice in learning literature where students can translate their ideas, creative thoughts, and feelings into written language. This assistance aims to explain the implementation of the Lamaholot culture-based fable story writing activity with image media to the students of Ratu Damai class. The method used is the KKN method which directly assists students in writing fables using media images with implementation stages, including (1) the pre-implementation stage, (2) the analysis stage, (3) the training stage, (4) the mentoring stage, and (5) evaluation stage. This stage of activity is adjusted to the structure of the fable story which includes orientation, complication, resolution, and coda. Through fable writing assistance using image media, students can write fables which can be seen from the work in the form of fables written with imagination, high creativity, and interesting titles and moral messages conveyed regarding Lamaholot's cultural wisdom towards the marine environment. This guided activity can monitor students' interest and creativity in writing fables based on a given theme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana penggunaan gaya bahasa metafora, personifikasi, dan hiperbola dalam kumpulan puisi Hujan Bulan Juni karya Sapardi Djoko Damono. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan kajian stlistika. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya bahasa yang digunakan dalam kumpulan puisi Hujan Bulan Juni karya Sapardi Djoko Damono adalah (1) gaya bahasa metafora, (2) gaya bahasa personifikasi, dan (3) gaya bahasa hiperbola. Kata Kunci: gaya bahasa, puisi, stilistika ABSTRACT This study aims to describe how the use of metaphorical, personification, and hyperbole language styles in the poetry collection Hujan Bulan Juni by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method. In this study, the researcher used a stylistic study. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study show that the language styles used in the poetry collection Hujan Bulan Juni by Sapardi Djoko Damono are (1) metaphorical language style, (2) personification language style, and (3) hyperbole language style.
