Abstract

PT Taco Anugrah Corporindo, which was established in 2017, is the largest producer of High Pressure Laminates (HPL) in Indonesia. PT. Taco Anugrah Corporindo, in carrying out the production process, produces Kraftpapper raw materials that have predetermined standard qualities. The predetermined qualities include quality, price, location and service. To meet the raw material needs of production, you need a raw material supplier that complies with the standards if you choose Suppliers who do not comply with standards can cause poor production quality, many raw materials are rejected, and will cause losses for the company. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the performance of Kraftpapper suppliers, so that the production process runs smoothly and the company does not experience losses. AHP is a method that functions to determine the priorities of several suppliers to minimize the occurrence of many production rejects, cost losses and loss time in the company. While TOPSIS is a method used for supplier performance ranking. The result of data processing is that the first priority Kraft paper supplier is PT. IK with the highest assessment result of 0.48872, and the highest rating of Kraft paper supplier performance is PT. IK with a preference value of 0.28634, because it best fits the criteria of the company

Abstract

PT Korindo Heavy Industry is a company engaged in construction and heavy equipment, the company's production consists of various steel structures, pipe spools and special vehicles. The problem that occurs in the company is the buildup of material in the production process caused by the overhead crane machine as material handling being unable to transport material so that production activities at work stations are hampered. The purpose of this study was to determine the critical components of overhead cranes that contribute to high downtime and to determine machine performance including reliability, availability and maintainability. In addition, the research will also propose optimal maintenance actions. This study uses the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis method to identify failure modes and Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) to predict the reliability, availability and maintainability performance of a system or component. The results of the data processing that has been carried out obtained the highest criticality category based on the RPN, namely, absorber power trip (160), gearbox (120), cable (105), and lining brake (105), with a weibull distribution. The absorber power trip component is the smallest MTTF and MTTR values, namely 239.8078 hours and 0.9953 hours. Each critical component has an optimal operating time of 24 hours, except for the lining brake, which is 168 hours. the minimum time for each component to reach its initial condition with a maintainability value of 100% is 28 hours. the results of the availability calculation obtained the lowest component, namely, the gearbox component with an inherent availability value of 76.82% and 72% operational availability. Based on key performance indicators and company targets, the gearbox component availability value as a leading indicator has not yet reached the target. The conclusion of the research is to obtain more optimal maintenance action proposals for the four critical components of the BU-1 overhead crane, especially the gearbox components which have not reached the target

Abstract

Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) is a type of tank used in packaging, shipping & storage efficiently and safely applied to various types of chemical industries made from liquid. However, with a high number of uses and the price of this IBC tank is relatively expensive creating new high cost for industry. IBC with strong and durable material characteristics, has potential to improve its usage. To gain efficiency and positive effects on the environment, the concept of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R) is the method used by PT DC Cilegon. The purpose of this study is to analyze the reuse of IBC tanks so that the level of efficiency can be expressed in numbers. The data used is the use of IBC in Delivery Note letters for the period of September 2022 to January 2023. The result are 284 IBC was delivered and reused with a ratio of 2.39 times per IBC. Its mean that PT DC Cilegon was increasing efficiency of IBC usage 23,67%. This is the application of the concept of green industry (Green Manufacturing) with focus on Green Supply Chain which has positive impact for environment. Keywords: IBC, Reduce Reuse Recycle (3R), Efficiency, Green Manufacturing, Green Supply Chain.

Abstract

The region of Indonesia, composed mainly of oceans, is not unfamiliar to us as we encounter mangrove plants along the coastlines. Many mangrove ecosystems are damaged and have not been replanted due to a lack of socialization and public awareness of the importance of mangroves for the coastal environment, marine ecosystems, and wildlife around the beach. This community service activity aims to inspire and raise public awareness about the role and function of mangroves. Meanwhile, the method used is a descriptive qualitative method where interviews and field studies are conducted directly, along with the implementation of socialization and a question-and-answer session with the community, the Head of the Mangrove Forest Farmers Group, and the community service team. The mangrove farmers' group enthusiastically received the results of this community service, as did the youth leaders and the community in Kronjo Village. In addition to engaging in direct activities such as replanting mangroves, the community service team also participated in socialization activities to ensure the preservation of mangroves. The community ultimately gained knowledge about the roles and functions of mangroves as a result of this community service activity, and they became more enthusiastic about the preservation of mangrove sustainability for the sake of ecosystem and environmental conservation, as well as effectively addressing coastal erosion in Kronjo Village, which is located on Cangkir Island.

Abstract

Tingkat emisi udara di area industri, khususnya di sepanjang jalur pengiriman logistik, sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenis kendaraan yang beroperasi. Untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sekaligus mendukung terwujudnya industri logistik yang berkelanjutan, diperlukan penggunaan kendaraan dengan teknologi rendah emisi seperti standar Euro 5 yang telah dipasarkan di Indonesia. Kendaraan diesel Euro 5 dilengkapi dengan sistem Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) dan Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) yang bekerja optimal apabila menggunakan bahan bakar dengan kandungan sulfur rendah. Truk Quester Euro 5 dari UD Trucks telah dirancang agar kompatibel dengan bahan bakar biodiesel B35, sejalan dengan kebijakan mandatori biodiesel nasional, selama penggunaan AdBlue dan pemeliharaan sistem emisi dilakukan secara berkala. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi performa penggunaan bahan bakar B35 dan Pertamina Dex pada armada truk Quester Euro 5 milik sebuah perusahaan industri. Data yang digunakan mencakup hasil uji emisi opasitas dan konsumsi bahan bakar aktual selama periode operasional tahun 2023 hingga 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata opasitas emisi kendaraan sebesar 12,6%, jauh di bawah ambang batas 35% sesuai Permen LHK No. 8 Tahun 2023. Sementara itu, konsumsi bahan bakar tercatat sebesar 4,48 km/liter, yang berarti sekitar 49% lebih efisien dibandingkan spesifikasi pabrikan (3 km/liter). Sebagai referensi pembanding, digunakan hasil studi Ashrul Fawwaz (2022) yang menunjukkan bahwa Shell Diesel memiliki nilai opasitas terendah, disusul oleh BP Diesel dan Pertamina Dex. Namun, dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi distribusi nasional, Pertamina Dex dinilai sebagai opsi bahan bakar non-subsidi yang paling realistis. Studi ini menekankan pentingnya pemilihan bahan bakar rendah sulfur untuk menjaga performa sistem emisi Euro 5 dan mendukung transisi menuju logistik ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Tingginya permintaan akan produk serat optik mendorong perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan efisiensi produksinya. Namun, dalam praktiknya, masih ditemukan permasalahan terkait tingginya jumlah produk cacat yang berpengaruh terhadap pencapaian target produksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Communication Cable Systems Indonesia, Tbk dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab utama produk cacat dalam proses produksi serat optik dan menentukan solusi perbaikannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Statistical Process Control (SPC) melalui peta kendali (p-chart), analisis akar penyebab (Fishbone Diagram dan RCA), serta penetapan parameter optimal produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab utama cacat produk berasal dari empat aspek, yaitu material, manusia, metode, dan mesin. Penerapan SPC terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi fluktuasi proses, serta meningkatkan kualitas produk setelah dilakukan perbaikan. Parameter optimal yang diperoleh adalah temperatur 160–180°C dan kecepatan line 25–35 m/menit. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan kualitas bahan baku, pelatihan SDM, perbaikan metode kerja, pemeliharaan mesin berkala, serta integrasi berkelanjutan SPC untuk pengendalian mutu yang lebih menyeluruh
