Abstract

Jaringan listrik terbarukan berbasis mikrogrid menjadi semakin relevan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan energi di pemukiman terpencil. Artikel ini membahas perancangan dan implementasi jaringan listrik terbarukan berbasis mikrogrid untuk meningkatkan akses terhadap listrik yang andal dan berkelanjutan di lokasi-lokasi terpencil. Keterbatasan infrastruktur listrik di daerah terpencil seringkali menjadi hambatan bagi pemukiman dan aktivitas ekonomi di sana. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengusulkan solusi dengan memanfaatkan sumber energi terbarukan seperti panel surya, turbin angin, dan penyimpanan energi baterai. Dalam tahap perancangan, kami mengevaluasi kebutuhan energi pemukiman terpencil dan sumber daya terbarukan yang tersedia. Selain itu, kami mempertimbangkan aspek-aspek teknis, seperti sistem kontrol, pengaturan tegangan, dan penjadwalan daya untuk memastikan penyediaan energi yang stabil. Penelitian ini juga mencakup pemodelan mikrogrid menggunakan perangkat lunak simulasi dan alat perhitungan yang tepat. Hasil implementasi jaringan listrik terbarukan berbasis mikrogrid ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam ketersediaan listrik di pemukiman terpencil. Selain itu, sistem ini memberikan fleksibilitas untuk mengintegrasikan lebih banyak sumber energi terbarukan jika diperlukan. Hal ini mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan bakar fosil dan berkontribusi pada pengurangan emisi karbon. Selama pengujian dan pemantauan berkelanjutan, jaringan listrik terbarukan berbasis mikrogrid ini terbukti andal dan mampu memberikan daya listrik yang cukup untuk pemukiman terpencil. Artinya, solusi ini berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas hidup penduduk setempat dan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi di daerah tersebut. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan sistem listrik berkelanjutan di wilayah terpencil dan dapat dijadikan acuan bagi proyek serupa di masa depan.

Abstract

PT Taco Anugrah Corporindo, which was established in 2017, is the largest producer of High Pressure Laminates (HPL) in Indonesia. PT. Taco Anugrah Corporindo, in carrying out the production process, produces Kraftpapper raw materials that have predetermined standard qualities. The predetermined qualities include quality, price, location and service. To meet the raw material needs of production, you need a raw material supplier that complies with the standards if you choose Suppliers who do not comply with standards can cause poor production quality, many raw materials are rejected, and will cause losses for the company. Therefore, the aim of this research is to determine the performance of Kraftpapper suppliers, so that the production process runs smoothly and the company does not experience losses. AHP is a method that functions to determine the priorities of several suppliers to minimize the occurrence of many production rejects, cost losses and loss time in the company. While TOPSIS is a method used for supplier performance ranking. The result of data processing is that the first priority Kraft paper supplier is PT. IK with the highest assessment result of 0.48872, and the highest rating of Kraft paper supplier performance is PT. IK with a preference value of 0.28634, because it best fits the criteria of the company

Abstract

CV. Rifky Arafa, one of the companies engaged in garments that provides the needs of goods and services for making alma mater, suits, jackets, hats, togas, and bags, located in Kadu Genep Village, Petir District, Serang-Banten Regency. This research was conducted on 5 production operators of sewing machine parts. The purpose of this study was to determine how much calorie needs and how long rest periods needed by operators based on pulse rate and energy consumption and find out the optimal rest time for sewing machine part production process operators. This research method uses a physiological approach method with the calculation of measurement data of 10 pulses, from the calculation of the average working pulse rate (DNK) and cardiovascular load (%CVL) as well as the level of energy consumption needed by the operator when doing work, based on calculations using the highest average physiological approach of the work pulse rate (DNK) with a value of 90, 67 beats/minute and cardiovascular load (%CVL) with an indigo of 18.18% which classified as light workload and can be classified as not fatigue when working because of the value <30% if the %CVL value reaches 30% - 60% then repair or additional hours of rest time are needed. The calorie requirement required by the operator is 0.978 Kcal/min based on the calculation of energy consumption spent during work of 3.606 Kcal/min and energy expenditure at the time before work of 2.628 Kcal/min. For the determination of rest time through the calculation of energy consumption of 0.978 Kcal/min states that no rest time is needed during the work process at the production process operator. (Rt = 0) This means that the rest hours given or that have been set in the CV. Rifky Arafa which is 60 minutes is enough

Abstract

PT. Indorama Petrochemicals PT Indorama Petrochemical, producer of Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA), has been operating since 2013. From production of 33 tons per hour, it has now reached 58 tons per hour. Indorama Chemical's PTA products are 100 percent absorbed for domestic needs including the textile industry as raw material for fiber and yarn. Some examples of the problems that exist at the Chemical manufacturing company PT Indorama Cilegon include (lack of respect for employees, lack of man power, excessive workload, lack of safety/PPE awareness, lack of discipline and high work ethic). These problem factors result in low employee motivation at work, apart from that, employees will become less enthusiastic about achieving company targets and this will have an impact on a company and this can be detrimental to the company. The aim of this research is to reduce the physical workload experienced by employees at work by measuring workload using Work Load Analysis (WLA) with a Soft System Methodology (SSM) approach. In this research, an approach is needed to identify, measure and evaluate the amount of work or tasks that must be carried out in an organization or by a particular individual. System analysis is carried out to identify problems in a complex system and also to create solutions to improve existing problem solving. The results of this research are problem identification, causal loop diagram of excessive workload, rich picture of excessive workload, root definitions, conceptual model of increasing company productivity, and processes, as well as suggestions for improvement

Abstract

Electrical networks are very useful in everyday life. The electricity network is one of the main resources, namely as a resource for all household and company electronic equipment and of course every house or company must have an electricity network. But how can all these points have an electricity network and that the network is neatly arranged and efficient? So researchers are conducting research which will discuss and analyze the optimization of the electricity network at Grand Cilegon Residence, Jl. Bougainvillea. The problem that we want to overcome is minimizing the path or length of the electricity network in the Grand Cilegon Residence Housing Complex, Jl. Bougainvillea. This research aims to be used as a consideration in installing electrical cables in the Grand Cilegon Residence housing complex and also as a comparison of the distance to the electricity network by obtaining the minimum distance to the electricity network so that the electricity network in the area can be installed neatly and efficiently. The research method used by researchers in network problems is the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) model. Based on the analysis and calculations that have been carried out, the results obtained from this research are that the Grand Cilegon Residence housing only requires electrical cables with an optimal distance of 85 km. These results show that the use of the Minimum Spanning Tree (MST) model has a great influence on optimizing the distance connecting points. houses and other points by saving more on the use of electrical cables can be said to be effective and efficient

Abstract

The lava lamp exercise with the children of kebonsari urban village, citangkil sub-district is a fun and educational activity that involves making simple lava lamps using materials easily found at home. This study aims to explore the children's experience of the lava lamp experiment, and its impact on their understanding of basic chemistry concepts, and chemical interactions. Through a teaching approach based on simple science experiments and participatory observation, children were given the opportunity to experiment with a mixture of oil, water, and coloring agents to create interesting visual effects in their own lava lamps. The results showed that this practice not only increased children's interest in science, but also strengthened collaborative skills, and understanding of basic experimental concepts. This experiment highlights the importance of experiential and interactive learning approaches in developing childrens I nterest in science.

Abstract

LP is one of the pharmaceutical companies located in Serang, Banten. The production of the company is tablets, capsules, and syrup. Problems that occur at PT. LP is a product defect that occurs in capsule filling, especially in capsule A. The purpose of this study is to determine the defective products that occur in capsule A and to find out the proposed improvements that will be made to reduce product defects in capsule A. The research methods used are Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (F-FMEA). The population and samples used were defective capsule A during the production process from March 2022 to May 2023, with sampling techniques through production data, observation and interviews. And the results of research using a check sheet show that the percentage of defects reaches 6%, based on the pareto chart, the priority of improvement that needs to be done is for the dominant type of defect, namely the dented capsule reject reaches 90%, and on the control chart there are still control points that are outside the UCL and LCL. FMEA calculations, the RPN value of the capsule is dented on the head of the capsule or capsule body reaches 384, and the FRPN value is 6.76.

Abstract

A company that produces high quality tinplate with international standards. The product produced is tinplate, namely steel sheets coated with tin. In ETL downtime from May 2022 – April 2023, there is a gap between actual and target downtime, causing the production process to not run optimally, and will cause losses for the company. So it is necessary to determine the effectiveness value of the equipment in ETL and determine the need for spare parts for critical mechanical components. OEE is the magnitude of the effectiveness value of equipment or machines in the Company. ABC classification is a classification of a group of materials in descending order based on the cost of using the material per time period. The results of data processing obtained an average OEE value of 80.06% and for items in class A it was a mechanical seal sink roll. Items in class B are solenoid valve – 48VDC and scotch brite and items in class C are mechanical seal DN 45, filter regulator, bearing 7308DB, bearing NU308EC, and hose assembly.

Abstract

To ensure the continuity of the production process, it is essential for the company to focus on maintenance management, particularly in selecting high-quality pneumatic system components with a long lifespan. This study aims to determine the criteria and weights for choosing suppliers of these components in a paper packaging manufacturing. The supplier alternatives evaluated are PT. SMCAI, PT. FI, and PT. RMW, using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The analysis of the four criteria reveals the following weights: cost (0.46), quality (0.23), service (0.16), and delivery (0.15). Based on these evaluations, PT. SMCAI ranks highest with a weight of 0.41, followed by PT. FI at 0.40, and PT. RMW with the lowest weight of 0.19. These results guide the company in selecting the most suitable supplier to maintain smooth production operations.

Abstract

This steel manufacturing company located in Citangkil District, Cilegon City is a company engaged in the steel manufacturing industry in Indonesia. Based on research conducted in the period January 2023 to January 2024, it was recorded that there was a swelling of the lead time in the production process in the Rheinstall Heraeus (RH). In this study, the author uses the lean manufacturing method. This method can analyze and determine the activities that need to be done and the activities that do not need to be done, with Vallue added and non value added tools (VA and NVA) after knowing the activities that need to be done and the activities that do not need to be done, then continue with the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tools to get the value of waste that can be eliminated. The result of the research using the Lean Manufacturing method is that the lead time in the treatment process has been successfully reduced, which originally took up to 1780 seconds to 1520 seconds, and was carried out safely without ignoring the SOP and Safety that apply in the company. The results of the research using the Lean Manufacturing method are, the lead time in the treatment process has been successfully reduced, the waste itself is found in the treatment stage starting from the vacuum start process from 120 seconds to 60 seconds, taking the initial temperature from 120 seconds to 100 seconds, the waiting time of 380 Torr which takes 120 seconds to 60 seconds, Charging the material originally took 80 seconds to 60 seconds, the circulation of the original material took 80 seconds to 60 seconds, the composition taking from 120 seconds to 100 seconds, and in the Torr vacuum stop process which took 120 seconds to 60 seconds. So that it can produce a total time of up to 1780 seconds to 1520 seconds, and it is carried out safely without ignoring the SOPs and Safety that apply in the company.
