Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program aims to improve abilities, soft skills, and hard skills. The purpose of this study is to develop the right strategy to improve the soft skills of Islamic banking study program students in the MBKM program. This study uses the SWOT analysis method to analyze internal (strengths and weaknesses) and external (opportunities and threats) factors for students that are the basis for determining strategies. The total active student population of the Islamic banking study program in this study amounted to 41 students. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. The results of this study show that the strategy carried out by the Islamic banking study program is a Turnaround or WO strategy, namely by creating a strategy that minimizes weaknesses to take advantage of opportunities with the strategy "Take advantage of MBKM soft skills and hard skills competencies as student capital to become leadership agents who have broad insight through Internships / Student Exchanges or Village Building Projects"

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how to calculate the cost of production using the full costing method in determining the selling price using cost plus pricing for Tempe UMKM in Langkat Regency. The research method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. Sources of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the calculation of the cost of production using the full costing method was higher than the method used by MSME owners. According to the full costing method, the cost of producing tempe per gram is Rp. 9, while according to the MSME owner's method, the cost of producing tempe per gram is Rp. 8.98. Calculating the selling price using the cost plus pricing method produces a higher price than the price set by MSME players. Tempe measuring 70 grams costs IDR 835/pcs, tempe measuring 120 grams costs IDR 1,432/pcs, tempe measuring 150 grams costs IDR 1,789/pcs, tempe measuring 350 grams costs IDR 4,175/pcs. Whereas the price applied by MSME actors for tempe measuring 70 grams costs Rp. 700/pcs, tempe measuring 120 grams costs Rp. 1,250/pcs, tempe measuring 150 grams costs Rp. This difference in selling prices occurs because the cost plus pricing method has added a profit of 30% as expected by MSME players.

Abstract

Insurance is a form of financial protection that provides a guarantee of payment or benefit in the face of certain risks or losses. If the unexpected risk befalls one of the participants, the loss will be borne together. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the elements of Assalam Family products in the context of the implementation of tabarru' fund management at PT. Bumiputera Sharia Life Insurance Medan Branch. This study uses a type of field research, with qualitative research methods, exploring data through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the research obtained are that the Assalam Family Product Element uses the tabarru' contract as the basis for its implementation. The process involves two procedures, namely requesting an Assalam Family sharia life insurance policy and submitting a claim. Tabarru' funds are managed by separating participants' contributions into two separate accounts, participant savings accounts (saving system) and tabarru' accounts (non-saving system). The investment proceeds are divided 70% for participants and 30% for the company, with a risk management commitment of 50% of the contribution. The allocation of funds is invested in sharia stocks and bonds according to sharia principles. If the tabarru' funds run out, the qardh funds are used to overcome the inadequacy, which is taken from the central Bumiputera which is realized to the branches that lack funds to pay compensation or claims submitted by participants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine customer interest in easy wadiah savings and what factors influence customer interest in easy wadiah savings product at the Indonesia Islamic Bank (BSI) KCP Medan Marelan Raya. Wadiah savings are types of deposits from customers who require fund deposit services with a level of flexibility in withdrawing these funds. The data obtained in this study is the number of customers who are interested in opening wadiah savings at BSI in 2021 to 2022. Data analysis and discussion is by using descriptive methods by sistematically describing certain facts or characteristics carefully and thoroughly. While data collection using two days, namely interviewers and observations.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the marketing strategy of gold pawn products at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Marelan Raya. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method while the data collection technique is by conducting interviews and observation. to make Sharia Gold Pawn product at KCP Medan Marelan Raya, a strategy is needed so that the sales objectives of the product can be successful and meet the company’s targets. Then do a SWOT analysis first so that the strategy used is right on target. This research uses SWOT analysis with marketing mix theory. The results of this study indicate that the Sharia Gold Pawn at KCP Medan Marelan Raya has developed quite well, which means that customers are interested or interested in the Sharia Gold Pawn with evidence of ank increase in the number of gold pawn customers from 2021-2022. Therefore, the marketing strategy plays a role very important in increasing the number of customers on the Sharia Gold Pawn at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Medan Marelan Raya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the application of sharia crowdfunding in the context of sharia compliance principles and its implementation in sharia banking products with a case study at Bank Muamalat. Sharia crowdfunding, as an alternative method of funding in accordance with sharia principles, offers the opportunity to accumulate various projects or businesses while still complying with the prohibitions on usury, gharar and maisir. This research discusses the application of sharia principles in sharia crowdfunding managed by Bank Muamalat, as well as how to integrate and implement this product in their sharia banking portfolio. The research methodology uses a qualitative approach with data analysis from internal bank reports, interviews with related parties, and literature studies on sharia principles and crowdfunding practices. The research results show that although sharia crowdfunding provides an innovative alternative. The main problems identified include late payments, defaults on projects, and difficulties in maintaining strict sharia compliance. This research recommends improvements in sharia monitoring mechanisms, sharpening operational guidelines, and training for sharia crowdfunding managers to ensure better and more effective products in meeting customer needs and sharia objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine whether a company's ability to retain its current customers is more important than its ability to acquire new customers. BSI wants to increase customer satisfaction and service quality by growing customer loyalty through mobile banking. Even though many BSI clients already have BSI Mobile, not all of them make full use of it. Therefore, the level of customer loyalty when using BSI Mobile is not too high. This is based on consumer interviews with BSI mobile banking users which show that consumers often decide to make transactions via BSI Mobile. The reason is that BSI Mobile is more user friendly and convenient; all you need is a smartphone to use it anytime, anywhere. For customers who decide not to use BSI Mobile for transactions due to lack of security, increased vulnerability to fraud, and ease of hacking. The aim of this research is to analyze and assess how customer experience and service quality influence BSI mobile banking customer loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was used in this research. This data was collected through survey research techniques on BSI customers who use mobile banking services. Customer loyalty and service quality in BSI mobile banking are positively and significantly influenced by customer experience, according to research findings

Abstract

There are quite a few new entrepreneurs who are entering retirement, whose entrepreneurial decisions are motivated by many reasons, ranging from unpreparedness of pension funds, activities in old age, to the existence of business opportunities. However, funding problems are a common initial problem. Therefore, there are many ways to start a business. One of them is bank financing. This study aims to test the influence of bank financial literacy and marketing policies on pension financing decisions in Islamic banks. Data were collected through objective sampling from 30 civil servants who were interviewed. The research method used is quantitative (Informal). In testing the hypothesis, SPSS is used as a data analysis tool. The results showed that economic literacy influenced the behavior of 54.6% of civil servants, while the rest were influenced by other variables. This research contributes to the literature on financial literacy and its impact on financial decision-making within the context of Sharia banking. The results underscore the importance of enhancing financial literacy programs targeted at civil servants to improve their financial choices and promote the growth of Sharia banking products. Recommendations for policymakers and financial institutions are provided to facilitate better financial education and support for civil servants in their pension planning.

Abstract

The integrity and credibility of Islamic banks are highly dependent on compliance with Islamic principles. Non-compliance can lower public trust and affect their decision to use Islamic banking services. In addition, people's perceptions and attitudes influenced by their understanding also play an important role in the decision to save or use Islamic bank products. This research intends to analyze the influence of Shariah Compliance and Customer Perception on the decision to save mudharabah savings products for the gift party. This research uses quantitative research techniques with field research methods. The total population is 37 people, namely customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Medan Ahmad Yani who have saved and used Mudharabah Savings products for Gift Parties and all pupulations are used as samples. Data collection techniques with questionnaires. The data was analyzed using the SPSS application version 27. The results of the study show that Sharia Compliance and Customer Perception together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant influence on Saving Decisions. This is evidenced by the value of F calculated 44.649 F table 3.28 and the probability of significance 0.000 0.05.

Abstract

Research background: The growth of the halal culinary industry continues to grow both domestically and globally. The halal industry, which includes goods and services, has its own attraction for many players and is in line with the Government's target by 2026 by increasing the halal culinary industry in Indonesia by going through several changes starting from the Halal Certification Obligations. Halal consumption patterns are not only a concern for Muslims but also many parties, so that the halal culinary industry can play a role in the economy. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this research is to identify the development of the halal culinary industry and describe the role of the halal industry in supporting the SDGs agenda towards the 2026 halal industry. Methods: The method used in this study is qualitative, with a literature study research approach, from several sources that are considered relevant to the research theme. The data source used is secondary data. The data collection technique is literature, and the data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive. The role of the halal industry in realizing the SDGs is; Reducing poverty, reducing hunger, healthy living and well-being, decent work and economic growth, innovation industries and infrastructure. Responsible consumption and production. And partnerships to achieve goals.
