Abstract

Recently, the practice of categorizing intelligent students and unintelligent students is a deeply ingrained phenomenon within the realm of education in Indonesia. Indeed, multiple specialists have verified that the attributes of intelligence vary among individual students. Hence, this study aims to revolutionize theme education in primary schools by implementing an autonomous curriculum that is rooted in the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence approach. This study employs the library research methodology, utilizing primary and secondary data derived from printed or digital sources such as books, journals, and magazines. The outcome of this discussion is to generate a set of activities for different domains of learning. These activities include folding clothes or buttoning clothes for the Islamic Studies domain, hand washing for the practical life domain, matching pictures with zones for the sensorial domain, matching words for the language domain, matching numbers for the mathematical domain, matching fruit with pictures for the cultural realm, and drawing or creating ecobricks for the arts & crafts realm. These diverse educational approaches involve the creation of a curriculum centered around the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence method, with the aim of promoting a healthy and virtuous lifestyle. These methods can be effectively utilized by teachers during classroom instruction. Through the development of diverse learning activities, education will be conducted in a more comprehensive manner, tailored to the individual traits and capabilities of each student. This approach to designing educational activities can thereafter be implemented in the instruction of young children in primary schools.

Abstract

The development of Instagram tourism objects in various parts of the world has encouraged many tourists to compete with each other to visit the place. Based on previous studies, it was stated that most of the visitors from this Instagram tourist attraction were millennials. In terms of terminology, Instagram tourism attraction is a tourist destinations which have unique, exist, and hits characters. It also used and utilized as photo hunting objects to share on Instagram accounts. The high interest of millennial tourists to produce and get the good photos has encouraged the development of similar Instagram tourism attraction. According to Gunn (1993), tourist destinations can attract tourist visits if it have several components such as attractions, services, information, promotions and transportation. However, these components are not the main focus in planning and developing Instagram tourism. The purpose of this article is to try to analyze the attractiveness of Instagram tourism attraction and it can be used as a reference in planning the management of Instagram tourism objects. This article used a qualitative method by using secondary data sources which are collected from several scientific articles, books, statistical data, and newspaper media. The results of this article found that the attractiveness of Instagram tourism attraction is actually a tourist activity that solely wants to pursue visual pleasure because the character of this attraction type is a blurry attraction. Therefore, planning of the development of Instagram tourism attraction must consider the components that can encourage to creating/producing good visual quality.

Abstract

Social intelligence and motor skills are essential for a child's development. This study in the Sleman Regency investigates the relationship between social intelligence and motor skills development in 170 primary school students. The data collection instruments included a Social Skills Rating Scale (SSRS-T), a questionnaire, and Nurhasan's motor ability test. The data used meet the normality and linearity conditions, as indicated by the coefficients of 0.721 and 0.108, each greater than 0.05, respectively. The results show that 71.17% of the sampled students have above-average social intelligence (SI). The sampled children's SI can be grouped into very good (top 10%), good (next 18.82%), average (middle 42.35%), poor (next 25.29%), and extremely poor (bottom 25.29%); the respondents' rates in each category are as mentioned. Regarding motor development, 8.24% of the students were categorised as very good, 20.59% as good, 36.47% as average, 32.35% as poor, and 2.35% as extremely poor. The study found a moderate positive correlation (r value of 0.344) between social intelligence and motor development. With the determinant R2=0.118, given the variable indicators, high importance on communication and physical interaction explains at least 11.8% of the variation in the students' motor skills development. The researchers recommend that further studies on the habits of electronic gadget usage by the sampled children be carried out to shed light on unexploited frontiers for children with poor and extremely poor social intelligence.

Abstract

A few years earlier, the world was going through a critical period due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. This outbreak then changed its status from a pandemic to an endemic, people must continue to maintain their own health, including in a healthy lifestyle in their daily lives. This service focuses on implementing community service programs that focus on the goal of fostering a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village, Sleman regency. The assessment methods used in this community service program are lecture, observation, and demonstration methods. The target object of this service is the community and young people of the tourist village of Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. The result of this program is the implementation of sports-based healthy lifestyle workshops for the younger generation and figures in the village which are then optimized with sports mentoring activities in order to understand and familiarize a healthy lifestyle for the younger generation in Krapyak village through physical activity. The coaching of sports activities carried out is badminton, table tennis, archery, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbound, and gymnastics. The implementation of this service received a positive response from the community where the service was served. In the future, service can be done again by further activating the youth element of the village cadets who can act as service partners and maintain the continuity of the coaching program at all times. Keywords: Coaching, golden village, health., healthy lifestyle, sport-tourism. Abstrak Beberapa tahun sebelumnya, kondisi dunia yang sedang melewati masa-masa kritis akibat pandemi Covid-19. Wabah ini kemudian berubah statusnya dari pandemi menjadi sebuah endemi, masyarakat harus tetap menjaga kesehatan dirinya masing-masing, termasuk dalam pola hidup sehat di kehidupannya sehari-hari. Pengabdian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang fokus pada tujuan untuk pembinaan pola hidup sehat para generasi muda di desa Krapyak wilayah kabupaten Sleman. Adapun metode pengkajian yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah metode ceramah, observasi, dan demonstrasi. Adapun sasaran objek pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat dan anak-anak muda desa wisata Kampung Emas Yogyakarta. Hasil kegiatan dari program ini adalah dilaksanakannya kegiatan workshop pola hidup sehat berbasis olahraga pada generasi muda dan tokoh-tokoh di desa yang kemudian dioptimalkan dengan kegiatan pendampingan olahraga dalam rangka meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus membiasakan pola hidup sehat bagi generasi muda di desa Krapyak melalui aktivitas fisik. Adapun pembinaan kegiatan olahraga yang dilaksanakan adalah bulu tangkis, tenis meja, panahan, mini soccer, pencak silat, outbond, dan senam. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini mendapat respon positif dari masyarakat tempat pengabdian. Kedepannya, pengabdian bisa dilakukan lagi dengan lebih mengaktifkan elemen pemuda karang taruna desa yang bisa berperan sebagai rekan pengabdian dan menjaga keberlangsungan program pembinaan setiap waktunya. Kata kunci: Pembinaan, kampung emas, kesehatan, pola hidup sehat, sport-tourism.

Abstract

Physical education and sports in elementary schools have a central role in the growth and development of students in preparing themselves to face the future. One of the tasks and functions of physical education is to develop the quality and quantity of students' basic movements. This can be developed through traditional game-based learning methods. This research aimed to produce basic locomotor movements through a traditional game-based learning model for students at the elementary school level and to determine the feasibility and practicality of the game model developed to improve basic locomotor movements and cooperation for lower grade elementary school students. This research used the research and development model based on Traditional Games. The research subjects were teachers and students at the elementary school level. The data collection instruments used were observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of the validity and reliability tests showed that the simple game-based PJOK learning model developed was valid and reliable, so that the product is suitable for use in the learning model. Based on the results of teacher and student assessments, it shows that the simple game-based PJOK learning model which was developed to improve locomotor movement and overall cooperation is stated to be very good. It can be concluded that this is a game model that can be used to develop locomotor movement and cooperation skills for elementary school level students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang model dan pendekatan suatu pembelajaran olahraga yang digunakan di sekolah-sekolah pada umumnya. Pada dasarnya, model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru penjas merupakan komponen yang penting dalam memberikan pemahaman bagi siswa. Oleh karena itu proses pembelajaran penjas di sekolah harus menggunakan model dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat, sehingga mampu menumbuhkan rasa tertarik, serta semangat untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik. Akan tetapi, permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam proses pembelajaran penjas saat ini adalah kurang aktifnya aktivitas kelas yang dibangun oleh guru akibat pelaksanaan pengajaran hanya dilakukan secara satu arah sehingga tidak mendorong siswa untuk memberikan feedback. Permasalahan yang lain yang muncul adalah rendahnya antusian siswa dalam mengikuti mata pelajaran penjas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi implementasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dan Discovery Learning dalam pengembangan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan kuesioner yang didasarkan pada instrumen, proses pengumpulan data, dan analis data yang bersifat kuantitatif, atau berupa angka dan diakhiri dengan proses generalisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran problem based learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dengan nilai baik yakni mencapai 50,9% dengan rentan skor 3,26 – 4,00. Disamping itu, implementasi model discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai cukup baik dengan rentan skor 2,51 – 3,25, yakni mencapai 52,8%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran problem based learning lebih efektif dalam mendorong motivasi belajar siswa pada mata Pelajaran penjas dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Abstract: This research discussed about approaches to sports learning used in schools in general. Basically, the learning model used by physical education teachers is an important component in providing understanding for students. Therefore, the physical education learning process in schools must use the right learning model and approach, so that it can foster a sense of interest and enthusiasm to follow the learning process well. However, the problem currently faced in the physical education learning process is the lack of active class activities developed by the teacher due to the implementation of teaching only being carried out in one direction so that it does not encourage students to provide feedback. Another problem that arises is the low enthusiasm of students in taking physical education subjects. The aim of this research is to identify the implementation of Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models in developing student learning motivation. This research uses quantitative methods. The data used in this research was obtained through observation and questionnaires which were based on instruments, data collection processes and data analysis which were quantitative in nature, or in the form of numbers and ended with a generalization process. The results of this research showed that the implementation of the problem based learning model on student learning motivation with a good score reached 50.9% with a score of 3.26 – 4.00. Besides that, the implementation of the discovery learning model on student learning motivation showed quite good scores with an average score of 2,51 – 3,25 or same as 52,8%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the problem based learning model is more effective in encouraging student learning motivation in physical education subjects compared to the discovery learning model.
