Abstract

Like in many countries, banking industry in Indonesia is more dynamic in the last decade. Level of marketcompetition among banks tends to increase continuously. This phenomenon has encouraged banks to createthe more advanced products and services to fulfi ll the growing needs of modern banking customers. Asthe monetary authority, Bank Indonesia has launched the Indonesia Banking Architecture to manage thesedynamics. IBA is a fundamental framework of banking system and provides a direction for banking operationalin Indonesia within 5 to 10 years. It is expected that IBA will create conducive environment which will enablebanks to improve their performance. This research is aimed to compare and analyze the performance of ninebiggest banks in Indonesia before and after the implementation of IBA in 2004. The performance indicatorsused are including ROA, ROE, NIM, CAR, LDR, and NPL. The data on these indicators are collected in theperiod of 2000-2009. The period of 2000-2004 is considered as before the implementation of IBA, while 2005-2009 is defi ned as after the implementation of IBA. The main tool of analysis used in this research is the meanequality test.Keywords: bank, Indonesia Banking Architecture, performance.

Abstract

Portofolio pada umumnya dioptimalkan dengan menggunakan standar deviasi return. Studi ini mengeksplorasi berbagai metode alternatif untuk mengoptimalkan bauran industri dalam portofolio di Indonesia. Penulis menggunakan dua alat ukur untuk membantu investor menghindari volatilitas ekstrim yang tidak dapat ditangkap oleh standar deviasi. Dua alat ukur tersebut adalah Value at Risk (VaR) dan Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR). VaR mengukur risiko pada batasan yang lebih tinggi daripada standar deviasi, biasanya pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% atau 99%. CVaR berhubungan dengan tingkat risiko yang paling ekstrim, yaitu risiko yang tidak ditangkap oleh VaR. Penulis menggunakan metode parametrik (untuk distribusi normal) dan non-parametrik untuk VaR dan CVaR. Untuk menjelaskan berbagai keadaan ekonomi, digunakanlah data pra-krisis ekonomi global, pada saat krisis ekonomi global dan pasca krisis ekonomi global. Dengan menggunakan pengoptimal risiko ekstrim ini, diharapkan dapat membantu investor untuk menghindari saham-saham yang berisiko tinggi. Volatilitas ekstrim juga merupakan indikator potensi masalah dalam sebuah industri, dan studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi yang penting mengenai kinerja dan risiko berbagai sektor pasar di Indonesia bagi para kreditor, regulator dan pemerintah. Kata Kunci: portofolio, bauran industri, value at risk, conditional value at risk.

Abstract

Di era modern saat ini, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan memang benar telah memberikan sumbangsih besar pada kemajuan kehidupan manusia. Sayangnya perkembangan itu selain memberikan dampak positif ternyata juga memberikan dampak negatif yang turut hadir bersamanya. Kehampaan spiritual ternyata menjadi permasalahan serius yang menyertai perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan modern saat ini. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sebuah sistem pendidikan khusus yang bisa mengatasi permasalahan spiritual ini. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai sistem pendidikan Zona al-Qur’an UNIDA Gontor yang begitu ideal untuk menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual mahasiswanya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research, yang informasinya juga dipadukan dengan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa sistem pendidikan zona al-Qur’an sangat ideal dan berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual mahasiswanya. Dari penelitian ini, peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa sistem pendidikan yang diterapkan di Zona al-Qur’an UNIDA Gontor memberikan andil yang besar dalam membentuk suasana terbaik untuk menumbuhkan kecerdasan spiritual. Oleh karena itu, konsep zona al-Qur’an ini sangat layak apabila diimplementasikan di berbagai perguruan tinggi Islam lainnya.

Abstract

Label siswa cerdas dan bodoh merupakan label yang sedari dahulu telah bersemayam dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Telah jelas bahwa siswa yang cerdas biasanya identik dengan nilai ujian akhir yang tinggi di rapornya. Hal ini tentunya merupakan sebuah kesalahan yang fatal. Perlu ditegaskan sedari dini bahwa corak karakteristik kecerdasan peserta didik itu berbeda-beda dan tidak bisa dipaksakan untuk sama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berusaha menjelaskan mengenai pengaplikasian konsep multiple intelligence dalam pembelajaran PAI untuk memaksimalkan pertumbuhan setiap kecerdasan yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode library research di mana data primer bersumber dari buku, jurnal, majalah yang terdapat di perpustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlu dirumuskan 9 bentuk model pembelajaran PAI yang bersumber  dari konsep multiple intelligent yang digagas oleh Gardner.

Abstract

Becoming a memorizer (hafizd) of the Quran is not an easy matter, because it requires sincere intentions, sincerity, determination, hard work, strong motivation and of course using the right method. Regarding the method of memorizing the Quran, there are actually many methods that can be chosen and implemented when someone memorizes the Quran. This study aims to identify whether the method of memorizing the Quran used by teachers in guiding students in memorizing the Quran at the Quran memorizing institution Fastabiqul Khairat Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data were taken through in-depth interviews with five informants (teachers and students), to support the interview data the author also conducted observations and directly interacted with informants in various Quranic activities at the research location. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using NVivo12 qualitative analysis software. The research findings found five methods used by teachers in guiding students in memorizing the Quran. The five methods are: i) Talaqqi Method, ii) Simai, iii) Wahdah, iv) Kitabah, and v) Talqin. In addition, the research findings also prove that the selection of the right method has succeeded in delivering successful students to become a memorizer (hafizd) of the Quran.

Abstract

Recently, the practice of categorizing intelligent students and unintelligent students is a deeply ingrained phenomenon within the realm of education in Indonesia. Indeed, multiple specialists have verified that the attributes of intelligence vary among individual students. Hence, this study aims to revolutionize theme education in primary schools by implementing an autonomous curriculum that is rooted in the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence approach. This study employs the library research methodology, utilizing primary and secondary data derived from printed or digital sources such as books, journals, and magazines. The outcome of this discussion is to generate a set of activities for different domains of learning. These activities include folding clothes or buttoning clothes for the Islamic Studies domain, hand washing for the practical life domain, matching pictures with zones for the sensorial domain, matching words for the language domain, matching numbers for the mathematical domain, matching fruit with pictures for the cultural realm, and drawing or creating ecobricks for the arts & crafts realm. These diverse educational approaches involve the creation of a curriculum centered around the Islamic Montessori for Multiple Intelligence method, with the aim of promoting a healthy and virtuous lifestyle. These methods can be effectively utilized by teachers during classroom instruction. Through the development of diverse learning activities, education will be conducted in a more comprehensive manner, tailored to the individual traits and capabilities of each student. This approach to designing educational activities can thereafter be implemented in the instruction of young children in primary schools.

Abstract

The difficulty of the material presented in science subjects and the teacher's lack of ability to utilize learning media have an impact on students' low ability to understand learning material. So, the aim of this research is to develop flashcard media on the growth and development of creatures in elementary schools so that students can more easily understand the material being taught. The research design used is research and development (R&D) which goes through 7 stages of development design according to Borg & Gall. The data collection techniques used in this research were interviews, observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive. The results of this research and development show that the flashcard learning media regarding the growth and development of living things to equip students' speaking skills is declared suitable for use. This can be seen from the results of material validation with an average score of 4.8 which is in the "very good" category and media validation with an average score of 3.95 in the "good" category. Apart from that, the results of student responses in the initial field trial got an average score of 4.6 which was included in the "very good" category and the results of teacher responses got an average score of 4.7 which was included in the "very good" category as well as the results of student responses in the main field trial got an average score of 4.49 which is in the "very good" category. With this, it can be concluded that this flashcard learning media is suitable for use in the learning process in class III of elementary school.

Abstract

Pelabelan status siswa yang bodoh dan cerdas adalah kenyataan yang sudah menjadi tradisi dalam pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini berupaya mengkaji upaya digitalisasi pembelajaran PAI pada materi zakat berdasarkan prinsip kecerdasan majemuk di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan dalam kecerdasan matematis; guru dapat menampilkan materi doa melalui video animasi pembelajaran di YouTube berbasis Problem Based Learning. Dalam kecerdasan linguistik, guru dapat menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis web seperti Worldle atau meminta siswa untuk membuat vlog atau podcast tentang materi doa. Dalam kecerdasan musikal, guru menugaskan siswa untuk membuat lagu yang diiringi musik dari game musik di Android. Dalam kecerdasan interpersonal, guru menggunakan strategi Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dan penggunaan web learning Kahoot. Dalam kecerdasan intrapersonal, guru menggunakan laboratorium komputer untuk memberikan kebebasan kepada siswa untuk belajar tentang materi doa sesuai dengan karakteristiknya masing-masing. Dalam kecerdasan visual dan kinestetik, guru memanfaatkan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) atau pembelajaran berbasis game berbasis Android. Dalam kecerdasan naturalis dan eksistensial, guru dapat merancang pembelajaran terbuka dengan LCD, perangkat proyektor, dan sistem suara.
