Abstract

The existence of this diversity in Indonesia should make humanity interact and unite in goodness. For this reason, it is necessary to instill multicultural values in each individual.This research aims to find out the value of multicultural education in the film ‘Ke Jogja’ and ‘Ke Jogja 2’ in Paniradya Kaistimewan YouTube Account. This research uses qualitative research, semiotic analysis and focuses on the representation of social and cultural values, where researchers will analyze and identify the words, meanings and messages in short films. This research found that in the film ‘Ke Jogja’ and ‘Ke Jogja 2’ contains the value of tolerance, an attitude of understanding, respecting and appreciating other. This values are in accordance with points 10 and 16 contained in the sustainable development goals (SDGs), namely reducing inequality and peace, justice and strong institutions in people’s lives. Eksistensi keberagaman di Indonesia seharusnya mengantarkan pada interaksi humanis dan persatuan yang positif. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya penanaman nilai-nilai multikultural pada masing-masing individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyingkap nilai-nilai pendidikan multikultural dalam film ‘Ke Jogja’ dan ‘Ke Jogja 2’ di akun YouTube Paniradya Kaistimewan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, analisis semiotik dan fokus pada representasi nilai-nilai sosial dan kultural, di mana peneliti menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi kata-kata, makna dan pesan dalam film pendek tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa film ‘Ke Jogja’ dan ‘Ke Jogja 2’ mengandung nilai-nilai toleransi, memahami, menghargai dan mengapresiasi pihak lain. Nilai-nilai tersebut sesuai dengan poin Ke-10 dan Ke-16 Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan atau Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yaitu Mengurangi Ketimpangan (Reduce Inequality); serta Perdamaian, Keadilan dan Kelembagaan yang Kuat (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institution). Abstract

In response to globalization's challenges, educational institutions in Indonesia have begun to develop education oriented towards reforming quality, management, and curriculum with international standards. One of them is through the formation of an international class that is expected to be able to compete at the global level. To realize this, UIN Malang carries the vision of "The realization of an integrative higher education in combining science and Islam with an international reputation." Based on this vision, this study seeks to find out how to implement and form UIN Malang's support for the International Class Program at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty to internationalize the campus. This study uses a qualitative approach that emphasizes the interpretation of the data obtained. The problem in the field is the lack of cooperation between layers at the university. It has an impact on the speed of the internationalization process of the UIN Malang.Program Kelas Internasional UIN Malang sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Universitas Bereputasi Internasional. Menanggapi tantangan globalisasi, lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia mulai mengembangkan pendidikan yang berorientasi pada reformasi mutu, manajemen, dan kurikulum yang berstandar internasional. Salah satunya melalui pembentukan kelas internasional yang diharapkan mampu bersaing di tingkat global. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, UIN Malang mengusung visi “Terwujudnya pendidikan tinggi yang integratif dalam memadukan ilmu pengetahuan dan Islam yang bereputasi internasional.” Berdasarkan visi tersebut, penelitian ini berupaya untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi dan bentuk dukungan UIN Malang terhada Program Kelas Internasional Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan untuk menginternasionalkan kampus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang menekankan pada interpretasi data yang diperoleh. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diketahui adanya permasalahan di lapangan yakni kurangnya kerjasama antar lapisan di universitas. Hal tersebut berdampak pada percepatan proses internasionalisasi UIN Malang.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the views of Islamic jurists on the use of piercing in a beautification context. The piercing phenomenon is widespread among Muslims, both men and women, in various Islamic countries. This research uses a qualitative type with a library research approach. This research methodology involves a comprehensive analysis of the views of various scholars and interpretations of verses from al-Qur’an, hadith, and fiqh books related to the topic of piercing in the context of religious law. From this research, the results showed that several scholars had different perspectives regarding this problem. Imam Ibnu Hajar al-Haitami considers piercing women's ears for jewelry purposes is permissible because it is part of 'urf (habit). However, al-Ghazali emphasized that piercing or self-harm and not permitted. There are prohibitions for men regarding piercing. Imam Ghazali and Ibn Hajar al-Haitami agree that nose piercing on women and men is forbidden because of the potential to cause painful wounds. Apart from that, making decorations in places other than ears is also prohibited because it can resemble the practices of infidels, wicked or immoral people. As a devout Muslim need to be careful and aware of the beautification jurisprudence so that it is under the principles and objectives of Islamic law.

Abstract

The community service promotes tourism potentials in Kabupaten Bener Meriah, particularly the waterfall in Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. This service activity inspired ecotourism in two ways: 1). help the community manage and develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 2) help people and communities identify assets, monitor, and evaluate waterfall ecotourism development. The Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach—discovery (find), dream (dream), design (design), define (determine), destiny—is used in this service activity. The University Community Engagement (UCE) theory underpins this service by emphasizing community participation in higher education concepts and practice design. The capacity-building theory is in favor of this service. This service includes 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) and asset mapping. 2) ABCD method sharing and core team FGD. 3). Sharing ABCD methods with assisted communities. 4). Workshop on improving tourism village marketing, management, and entrepreneurial motivation to strengthen human resources. 5). A productive and sustainable economic empowerment workshop. 6). Focus group discussion (FGD), evaluation, and community service output recommendations. Tourism will grow and progress if it is managed properly and sustainably. To develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 1) the regional government of Bener Meriah Regency should develop human resources for the village community. 2). Creating a tourist attraction requires collaboration with many parties, especially the local government.Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengangkat potensi pariwisata di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, khususnya air terjun di Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menginspirasi ekowisata dalam dua hal: 1). membantu masyarakat mengelola dan mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 2) membantu masyarakat dan komunitas mengidentifikasi aset, memantau, dan mengevaluasi pengembangan ekowisata air terjun. Pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)—menemukan, mengimpikan, merancang, mendefinisikan, takdir—digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Teori University Community Engagement (UCE) mendasari kegiatan ini dengan menekankan partisipasi masyarakat dalam konsep dan desain praktik pendidikan tinggi. Didukung dengan teori peningkatan kapasitas, kegiatan ini mencakup 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) dan pemetaan aset. 2) Sharing metode ABCD dan FGD tim inti. 3). Berbagi metode ABCD dengan masyarakat binaan. 4). Lokakarya peningkatan pemasaran, pengelolaan, dan motivasi kewirausahaan desa wisata untuk penguatan sumber daya manusia. 5). Lokakarya pemberdayaan ekonomi yang produktif dan berkelanjutan. 6). Focus Group Discussion (FGD), evaluasi, dan rekomendasi keluaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pariwisata akan tumbuh dan maju jika dikelola dengan baik dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 1). pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Bener Meriah harus mengembangkan sumber daya manusia bagi masyarakat desa. 2). Membuat suatu objek wisata memerlukan kerjasama dengan banyak pihak terutama pemerintah daerah.
