Abstract

This study aims to investigate the competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in conducting learning evaluations at SDI Kreatif Makkah Padang City. Effective learning evaluation is considered crucial in enhancing overall educational quality. The research seeks to address gaps in understanding PAI teachers' competencies specifically related to learning evaluation. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation studies with PAI teachers at the school under study. Findings indicate that PAI teachers' competencies in learning evaluation tend to vary. Despite possessing strong theoretical knowledge, there are weaknesses in the practical application of learning evaluation. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of enhancing PAI teachers' practical evaluation skills through targeted training. It is anticipated that this approach can improve overall educational outcomes at SDI Kreatif Makkah Padang City, and potentially in similar contexts at other schools. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kompetensi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Islam (SDI) Kreatif Makkah Kota Padang. Evaluasi pembelajaran yang efektif dianggap krusial dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengisi kesenjangan dalam pemahaman mengenai kompetensi guru PAI dalam konteks evaluasi pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap guru PAI di sekolah yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru PAI dalam evaluasi pembelajaran cenderung bervariasi. Meskipun memiliki pengetahuan teoretis yang kuat, terdapat kelemahan dalam penerapan praktis evaluasi pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya peningkatan keterampilan evaluasi praktis guru PAI melalui pelatihan yang ditargetkan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil pendidikan secara menyeluruh di SDI Kreatif Makkah Kota Padang dan mungkin juga di sekolah lainnya dengan konteks serupa. Abstract

This article discusses the renewal  of Islamic education thinking from several figures in promoting Islamic education in Minangkabau. Among these figures are Abdul Karim Amrullah, Abdullah Ahmad, Rahmah El-Yunusiyah, and Sheikh Sulayman Ar-Rasuli. Therefore, the author wants to study a critical study of Islamic education thoughts Abdul Karim Amrullah, Abdullah Ahmad, Rahmah El-Yunusiyah, and Sheikh Sulaiman Ar-Rasuli. Islamic education activities in Minangkabau were born and grew and developed along with the entry and development of Islam in Minangkabau. Indeed, Islamic education activities are important experience and knowledge for the continuity of the development of Islam and Muslims both in quantity and quality. The purpose of this article is to explain how the renewal of Islamic Education thought developed by the leaders of Education in Mingkabau. The method used in this research is a library study (library reasearch) whose data collection is carried out by studying literature theory that has been collected from various sources

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the impact of using a non-directive learning model on PAI learning outcomes in husnuzhon material after implementing the non-directive model. This type of research is classroom action research. There are four stages in each cycle, namely preparation, activity and observation, and reflection. The research subjects were eighth grade students. Based on the analysis of the researchers' findings, student work results increased from cycle I to cycle III, namely cycle 1 (60%), cycle II (78%) and cycle II (95%). It can be concluded that using this learning model can be used as an alternative learning method for Islamic Religious Education. As a suggestion, implementing PAI learning using a non-directive model requires thorough preparation for both teachers and students.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Qiraat Sab’ah di pesantren umumnya dilakukan secara konvensional melalui hafalan dan bimbingan langsung dari guru. Meskipun metode ini mengakar kuat dalam tradisi, namun kurang menarik bagi santri di era digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitas e-modul Qiraat Sab’ah berbasis video dengan pendekatan naghom Al-Qur’an menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), melibatkan ahli bahasa, media, materi, serta guru dan santri kelas 10 sebagai subjek uji coba. Hasil validasi menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan sangat tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 96,77%. Praktikalitas media dinilai sangat baik oleh guru (97,77%) dan santri (98,43%). Uji efektivitas menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 14,12 poin antara pretest dan posttest, dengan signifikansi 0,000. Minat belajar santri juga meningkat, dengan rata-rata skor 94,66% dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian, e-modul ini dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat serta hasil belajar santri pada materi Qiraat Sab’ah, khususnya Qiraat Imam Nafi’. Media ini menunjukkan potensi besar untuk diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an berbasis pesantren yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai tradisional dan teknologi digital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the transformation innovation of MAN Insan Cendekia as a superior madrasah. The method used by the author in this study is the library research approach. In this method, data is collected through a review of literature or library studies are analyzed and presented in the discussion. The results of the study indicate that MAN Insan Cendekia is an example of a madrasah that focuses on the development of science and technology, as well as religion. It is under the auspices of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion and aims to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. In the 21st century, MAN has developed itself as a superior madrasah that offers better and broader education, and has more modern and complete facilities. In the 21st century, MAN IC has become an example of a superior madrasah that has developed itself as a more modern and more complete educational institution, and has better facilities to support the teaching and learning process. Thus, MAN IC has become a good example for other madrasahs in Indonesia.
