Abstract

Cash payments using currency, especially banknote, are often used in buying and selling transactions. Sometimes paying for banknote makes the seller confused about finding change, if the nominal value of the banknote is too large compared to the price of the item. Business actors must also increase their vigilance against the rise of counterfeit banknote. With the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment method, it is hoped that business actors will not have to be confused about looking for change or worry about counterfeit money being widely circulated. There are many benefits of QRIS, such as increasing sales, practical, efficient, safe in transactions, increasing business popularity. Therefore, the service team provides outreach to business actors. The counseling aims to introduce and explain the importance of having QRIS. The team used communicative and interview methods. Business people are very enthusiastic about having QRIS after the team gave a presentation about the QRIS payment method.

Students who have self confidence in studying mathematics will get maximum results, because self confidence plays an important role in student academic achievement. This research uses qualitative with descriptive type. The research subjects were 23 class XII students majoring in languages. The instrument in this research was a non-test instrument, namely a mathematical self confidence questionnaire consisting of 12 statements. The results showed that (1) 79.02% believed in their own abilities, (2) 52.9% acted independently in making decisions (3) 65.8% had a positive self-concept, (4) 82.76% were brave express an opinion. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies used by IPAS teachers in fostering students’ interest through the use of simple media in the topic of light, particularly light refraction. The research was conducted at MI Mu’awanah in July 2025 using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through interviews with an IPAS teacher, classroom learning observations, and documentation in the form of notes and pictures during the process. Data analysis was carried out by reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions from the findings in the field. The results show that the IPAS teacher utilized simple media in the form of a glass of water with a pen inside it to explain the phenomenon of light refraction. This medium proved effective as it was able to capture students’ attention and helped them better understand the abstract concept by making it more concrete. Classroom observations revealed that students demonstrated high enthusiasm throughout the learning process. They actively observed the experiment, responded, and were able to answer the teacher’s questions well. Interviews with the teacher also reinforced the finding that using simple media can serve as a relevant and easily applicable strategy in IPAS learning both in elementary and secondary schools. Thus, it can be concluded that the strategy of using simple media plays an important role in fostering interest as well as enhancing students’ understanding of the concept of light refraction. This study emphasizes that simple media are not only affordable and easy to obtain but also capable of creating an interactive, engaging, and meaningful learning atmosphere for students
