Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap siswa SMPK Kelas VIIA SMPK Kobalima Alas. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan beberapa tahap penelitian yaitu perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), pengamatan (observe) dan refleksi (reflect), ini dilakukan di SMPK Kobalima Alas tahun ajaran 2021/2022. Dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMPK Kobalima Alas yang berjumlah 21 siswa.Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, tes kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data dengan menghitung rata–rata nilai observasi dengan mengkategori tingkat kemampuan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIIA SMPK Kobalima Alas. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari siklus I dan siklus II menggambarkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari siklus I jumlah siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 13 orang meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 16 orang. Persentase ketuntasan kelas pada siklus I sebesar 61,90% meningkat sebesar 14,28% menjadi 76,19% pada siklus II.

Abstract

The linkage of technology in the world of education today has developed rapidly. One of them is the development of mathematics learning media in the form of educational games. The purpose of this research is to develop an educational learning media game that is integrated into Timor local wisdom so that this media has its uniqueness to help students learn. Research on a fast educational game on mathematics based on an android smartphone was conducted at MTs Nurul Falah, Kefamenanu, NTT. The media was developed using software construct 2. The method used in this research is development research with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The results of the validity test based on material experts, media experts, and teachers indicate that educational games with the theme of local wisdom as android-based mathematics learning media were included in the category of very feasible to use with an average validation of 4.33 and very feasible criteria. At this stage, a limited trial using a questionnaire showed that game education received a positive response to the use of game education media with an average percentage of 98.93%. These results indicate that the process of learning mathematics using this media can motivate and facilitate student learning compared to the learning that has been done. During the pandemic, COVID-19 media can be used as online-based learning media because students can easily download the application then the teacher controls the process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal relasi berdasarkan kriteria Certainty of Response Index (CRI) yaitu siswa yang tidak paham konsep (lucky guess), tidak paham konsep (a lack of knowlegde) dan miskonsepsi. Penelitian diskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan metode tes dan wawancara untuk memperoleh data bentuk kesulitan, siswa sebagai subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII yang telah mempelajari materi relasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sesuai kriteria CRI, tentang paham konsep lucky guess terdapat 11 kesulitan, terdapat 10 kesulitan pada bentuk paham konsep namun menebak dan tentang miskonsepsi terdapat 14 jenis kesulitan. Jenis kesulitan dalam memahami prinsip, kriteria CRI paham konsep (lucky guess) terdapat 9 kesulitan, pada kriteria paham konsep namun menebak (a lack of knowlegde) terdapat 9 kesulitan dan kategori miskonsepsi terdapat 18 kesulitan

Abstract

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Tuberculosis that fails treatment will develop into multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. Research on the TB epidemic continues, particularly in the field of applied mathematics with modeling. In this study, we analyzed a suitable strategy in controlling the development of susceptible individuals to active tuberculosis and even multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. In this work, local stability analysis was carried out around the equilibrium point. Also, to see the most influential parameters in the epidemic, a sensitivity analysis was performed on basic reproductive factors. Besides, the final work was to do numerical simulations with some cases, so that the model could describe the disease's phenomena and characteristics.
