Abstract

Hospitals are one of the crucial healthcare facilities that play a vital role in supporting healthcare efforts. Patient satisfaction or dissatisfaction is significantly influenced by the expected quality of services, particularly in hospitals. One of the success indicators in nutritional services is the satisfaction level of patients with the food they receive, as it positively contributes to the patients' healing process. These efforts also play a crucial role in supporting the recovery of patients. This research aims to assess the level of satisfaction with food services in terms of taste, presentation, and serving among inpatients at RSUD Meuraxa in Banda Aceh. The research method employed is descriptive quantitative research, aiming to provide an overview of patient satisfaction with food services at RSUD Meuraxa. Data were collected from 50 randomly selected respondents using an instrument that utilized a Likert scale with four options. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents are highly satisfied with the food services. A total of 90.0% of respondents stated that the food served at the hospital is delicious. Additionally, 70.0% of respondents found the food presentation to be appealing, and 96% of respondents considered the food serving to be excellent for inpatients at RSUD Meuraxa. Of all the satisfaction aspects measured, 86.0% of respondents expressed their satisfaction with the food services provided to inpatients at the hospital.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension or high blood pressure is a disease characterized by an increase in blood pressure above normal that is progressive. Hypertension has become a world health problem due to its high prevalence and risk of causing heart, stroke, and kidney complications. The purpose of this study was to see if stress, smoking, diet and physical activity had a relationship with the incidence of hypertension in the working area of the UPTD Ladang Tuha Health Center, Paya Ateuk Village. Methods: This study uses a quantitative research design that uses an analytical descriptive method with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study is all heads of families in Paya Ateuk Village as many as 558 people. The sample selection technique used was purpose sampling which was determined by the slovin formula and obtained 85 samples. The collected data was then tested univariately to see the frequency distribution and bivariate using the chi-square (P-Value) test to see the influence between the variables. Results: The level of community stress was related to hypertension (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). Smoking habits also had a significant relationship (p-value 0.037 < 0.05). Diet was shown to be closely related to hypertension rates (p-value 0.000 < 0.05). Physical activity showed a significant correlation with hypertension (p-value 0.001 < 0.05). Conclusion: stress, smoking, diet and physical activity have a relationship with the occurrence of hypertension, this is supported by test results that get a P-value of less than 0.05.

Abstract

Hipertensi menempati urutan pertama dengan persentase tertinggi pada setiap klasifikasi umur terkait Lansia, dan penyakit stroke  pada peringkat ke tiga dari sepuluh masalah kesehatan lanjut Usia. Kegiatan bertujuan agar lansia mampu melaksanakan upaya pencegahan stroke dengan pengelolaan hipertensi dengan jumlah responden 33 lansia yang terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 23 perempoan. Instrument berupa kuesioner  terdiri dari 20 pernyataan dengan dichotomi Choice untuk pengetahuan dan Multiple Choice untuk Perilaku. hasil diketahu terdapat kestabilan nilai tekanan darah sebanyak 22 responden (64%), dan penurunan nilai tekanan darah sebanyak 11 responden (33%). Peningkatan pengetahuan lansia berada pada kategori baik  meningkat saat postest sebanyak 91% dibanding saat pretes 67%. Demikian juga dengan perilaku Lansia saat pretes berada pada kategori baik sejumlah 55, dan meningka saat postest sebanyak 87%. Saran bagi Pengelola UPTD RSGS Ulee Kareng Banda Aceh untuk dapat mempertahankan kegiatan olah raga berupa senam lansia yang sudah dijalankan pada setiap hari kamis pagi dan dapat memotivasi warga lansia untuk selalu bersedia melakukan chek/pengukuran tekanan darah minimal 1 kali seminggu.

Abstract

Complementary Feeding (MP-ASI) plays a vital role for infants aged 6–12 months in fulfilling nutritional needs that can no longer be met by breast milk alone. Proper MP-ASI provision is crucial in supporting optimal growth and development during this critical period. Maternal knowledge and attitudes are two key factors influencing the success of complementary feeding practices. This study aims to examine the relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes and the practice of MP-ASI provision in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Simeulue Barat in 2024. A quantitative, cross-sectional design was employed, involving 49 mothers with infants aged 6–12 months, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results revealed a significant relationship between maternal knowledge (p = 0.040) and attitudes (p = 0.017) and MP-ASI feeding practices. It is recommended that the local health center strengthen education efforts at community health posts (posyandu) regarding the appropriate timing, frequency, and texture of MP-ASI, supported by health cadres and interactive visual media. In addition, practical training for mothers on preparing nutritious MP-ASI using local ingredients should be encouraged. Future research is suggested to include additional variables such as cultural influences, family and social support, and access to information.

Abstract

Academic achievement is one of the indicators of educational success influenced by various factors, including nutritional intake and breakfast habits. Eating breakfast plays an important role in improving concentration and memory, while nutritional knowledge fosters healthy eating habits that support the learning process. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional knowledge and breakfast habits with academic achievement among students at SMA Negeri 3 Kluet Utara in 2024. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used. A total of 80 students from grades X and XI were selected using accidental sampling. The Chi-square test results indicated a significant relationship between nutritional knowledge (p = 0.002) and breakfast habits (p = 0.007) with academic achievement. Based on these findings, it is recommended that students enhance their nutritional knowledge and maintain regular breakfast habits to support better academic performance.
