Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain and determine the variables that influence the interest of pay later loan users in DKI Jakarta using the modified UTAUT 2 model by adding one perceived security variable. This study used a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires online to 163 pay later users. Using the PLS-SEM analysis approach with SmartPLS 3.3, of the 11 hypotheses tested, five had a significant effect, and six had no significant effect. The relationship path that has the greatest influence is behavioral intention and use behavior, while the path that has the least influence is social influence on use behavior. The results of this study provide recommendations on performance extension by increasing the performance of the pay later feature. Effort expectancy by making it easy to activate the pay later and providing limit adjustments. Social influence creates attractive ads and expands paid information. Hedonic motivation by improving the appearance of a more attractive user interface and increasing the use of the system with user experience. Price value by providing low interest and appropriate limits. Habit by following the recommendations of all variables as a reference for future improvement steps. Facilitating conditions pay later cooperates with other merchants as a payment option to expand the network. Perceived security by implementing fingerprint locks and enhancing user information security and privacy. Behavioral intention follows all recommendations on the factors that influence intention. and use behavior following the recommendations on the factors that influence the intensity level of the user's use of the pay later.

Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between tax revenue and economic growth in developing countries, aiming to evaluate how various tax structures influence economic outcomes. Employing a narrative review methodology, literature was sourced from databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar using a targeted set of keywords. Inclusion criteria focused on peer-reviewed empirical studies from the last two decades examining taxation, fiscal policy, and growth. Findings reveal that oil tax revenues can bolster short-term fiscal capacity but often introduce volatility tied to global price fluctuations. In contrast, non-oil taxes provide a more stable basis for sustained economic development. The review identifies a long-term correlation between tax revenue volatility and GDP instability, highlighting the critical role of institutional quality and administrative efficiency. Comparative studies show that G7 countries benefit from structured fiscal systems, while many developing countries struggle with inefficiencies, non-compliance, and narrow tax bases. Discussion points emphasize systemic barriers such as weak governance, informal economies, and low tax morale. Recommended reforms include administrative modernization, digitalization, and expanding the tax net to the informal sector. Ultimately, the study underscores that tax policy effectiveness hinges on contextual alignment with institutional capacities and socio-economic realities. Future research should address micro-level behaviors and long-term effects of taxation to enhance fiscal policy design.

Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a critical driver of smart business decision-making, enabling organizations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness across industries. This narrative review examines the integration of IoT into business systems, focusing on its contributions to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), marketing strategies, sustainability leadership, smart environments, and sector-specific applications in agriculture, education, and healthcare. Literature was systematically collected from Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, using targeted keywords and Boolean operators. Inclusion criteria prioritized peer-reviewed studies that examined IoT in relation to business decision-making, resulting in a dataset of empirical and conceptual research published between 2018 and 2024. Findings reveal that IoT enhances decision-making accuracy through ERP integration, strengthens marketing strategies by enabling real-time consumer insights, and supports sustainability leadership by advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. In addition, IoT facilitates the development of smart environments that leverage big data and artificial intelligence for predictive analytics. Sectoral evidence confirms IoT’s effectiveness in improving agricultural productivity, optimizing educational management, and enabling remote healthcare monitoring. Nonetheless, critical systemic challenges persist, particularly cybersecurity threats such as data breaches, lack of common interoperability standards across IoT platforms, and infrastructural readiness gaps in regions with limited digital capacity. These barriers highlight the need for supportive policies, investment in digital infrastructure, and organizational cultures receptive to technological change. Future research should focus on empirical validation of IoT’s impact on managerial decision quality and explore cross-sectoral comparisons to enrich theoretical and practical understanding. By addressing these challenges, IoT can fulfill its promise as a transformative enabler of sustainable and innovative business strategies.

Abstract

This study investigates the challenges and adaptive strategies of electoral logistics during the 2024 general election in Banggai Kepulauan Regency, an archipelagic region in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with 25 key informants, field observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal five major obstacles: geographic fragmentation, lack of dedicated fleets and trained personnel, weak institutional coordination, limited use of SiLogistik due to connectivity problems, and security concerns in remote areas. To address these, local election bodies adopted early delivery, community-led monitoring, and informal storage mechanisms, demonstrating the critical role of grassroots engagement. These findings highlight a unique hybrid model that integrates manual and digital tools, central planning with local execution, and formal institutions with informal community networks. Theoretically, the study contributes to debates on adaptive governance and logistics resilience in fragmented geographies, while practically it provides policy insights for Indonesia’s KPU and electoral stakeholders to strengthen future logistics in island regions
