Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of metaphors and find out some of the metaphors in the lyrics of the song Berita Untuk Kawan created by Ebiet G. Ade for learning Indonesian Semantics. The type of research used is qualitative based on descriptive methods which are carried out when researchers want to know answers to problems with a phenomenon that is happening. The data used in this study are metaphors that are obtained or found in every word or in every phrase with certain data collection steps. The results of this study are that there are 8 metaphors in the lyrics of the song Berita Untuk Kawan created by Ebit G. Ade consisting of: rocky dry land, street stones, little shepherds, sea, coral, waves, sun, and grass. The metaphors obtained from the song contain many meanings related to something that is felt and encountered by someone in solitude while traveling. By knowing some of the metaphors in the lyrics of the song Berita Untuk Kawan, created by Ebiet G.Ade. then we can understand the thoughts, meanings, and messages expressed, so that we can enrich the vocabulary that is suitable for learning Indonesian Semantics.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify, define, analyze and classify various types of deixis and the use of deixis in the short film Pulang. This study uses qualitative methodology and descriptive analysis. The focus of the research is the short film Pulang. The stages of this research consist of; 1) the author prepares to find information related to this research, and watches the short film Pulang. 2) The following are the activities used to collect data. To make data identification easier, films are taken from the internet. In every film there is deixis in it, the things obtained are then recorded by marking. 3) Use of descriptive methods in data analysis. And examined based on the types of deixis and their use.

Abstract

AbstrakKajian ilmu psikolinguistik berfokus mempelajari bahasa yang mengaitkan psikologi terkaittentang bagaimana manusia memperoleh, mempelajari, memahami, dan menggunakan sebuahbahasa. Pada psikolinguistik terdapat salah satu bahasan yaitu gangguan berbahasa yangmerupakan ketidakmampuan individu untuk menggunakan, memahami dialog baik verbal maupunnonverbal, salah satunya ialah seseorang yang mengidap deafblind. Pasien dengan buta tulimengalami masalah neurologis. Penyakit ini memiliki efek sosial, perilaku, dan linguistik. Penelitianini menggunakan teknik penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini akanmendeskripsikan berbagai kendala yang ada didalam filem tersebut tentang gangguan berbahasayang dikhususkan pada tokoh Melati dari film Moga Bunda di Sayang Allah dilanjutkan membahastiga masalah bahasa—gangguan bahasa biologis, afasia, dan autisme—terkait dengan perilaku yangmenyimpang.Kata kunci : Gangguan Berbahasa, deafblind, psikolinguistik

Abstract

This study serves as a reference to understand that teachers have access to a variety of instructional media that can be optimally utilized in teaching poetry writing at the elementary level. It highlights how digitalization in education requires teachers to continuously innovate in their teaching practices. The appropriate use of media makes the process of learning poetry writing more accessible and easier to grasp. These media tools assist students in interpreting the meaning conveyed through various forms of content. With the support of media, students are able to compose poems in a more systematic and structured manner. The teacher's role in delivering the material also plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of the learning process. Integrating media into poetry instruction creates a fresh and engaging learning environment for students, moving beyond textbooks or methods that may be difficult to comprehend. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive method, using literature review from a range of relevant articles to support the investigation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kesulitan mahasiswa non-tradisional dalam menguasai metodologi penelitian serta menganalisis implikasi pedagogis dari kesulitan tersebut dalam konteks Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PBSI). Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah universitas swasta di wilayah suburban-industrial Indonesia, dengan pendekatan kualitatif interpretatif melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumen akademik. Hasil penelitian mengungkap empat temuan utama. Pertama, mahasiswa mengalami keterputusan epistemologis terhadap disiplin ilmu PBSI, yang menghambat pemaknaan mendalam atas kegiatan penelitian. Kedua, terjadi reduksi tujuan pembelajaran menjadi bersifat prosedural dan praktis, sehingga metodologi hanya dipahami sebagai syarat administratif penulisan skripsi. Ketiga, terdapat fragmentasi antara metodologi, substansi keilmuan, dan konteks kehidupan mahasiswa, yang menyebabkan desain riset menjadi tidak relevan secara akademik maupun kontekstual. Keempat, mahasiswa menunjukkan kebutuhan tinggi terhadap pendekatan pedagogis yang diferensial dan berbasis demonstrasi sebagai sarana memahami metodologi secara fungsional. Temuan ini menunjukkan urgensi reformulasi pendekatan pengajaran metodologi penelitian di pendidikan tinggi, khususnya bagi populasi mahasiswa non-tradisional. Penelitian ini berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan desain kurikulum dan praktik pedagogis yang lebih kontekstual, responsif, dan berkeadilan epistemik.

Abstract

This article aims to assist elementary school teachers in teaching poetry writing skills. Writing poetry is often perceived as a challenging process that requires considerable time to implement. Moreover, writing instruction in general is frequently seen as complex due to the various cognitive demands it places on students. One of the main challenges lies in the stigma that the creative writing process must integrate both linguistic and non-linguistic elements to contribute to the cohesion of a text in an academically sound manner. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on the use of visual media in poetry writing instruction through a literature review. The use of images can support students, particularly at the elementary level, by offering a more engaging and innovative learning experience. Based on the analysis of 10 literature sources, visual media significantly enhance students’ poetry writing abilities. Therefore, this method may serve as an effective alternative for teachers in the instructional process and as a means to cultivate literary appreciation.
