Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan terpenting yang perlu dimiliki setiap siswa ialah kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Namun nyatanya, kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa belum dapat dikatakan bagus. Math anxiety merupakan salah satu hal penyebab komunikasi matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Kelurahan Rawamangun Jakarta Timur yang memiliki Math anxiety dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa kelas lima SD Islam Al-Azhar 13 Rawamangun dan SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebagai sampel penelitian ini. Metode yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian korelasional. Instrumen non tes dan tes dipergunakan untuk mengumpulkan data. Kuesioner dengan skala Likert digunakan untuk mengukur variabel non-tes math anxiety. Deskripsi soal dipergunakan dalam mengukur variabel tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Analisis Korelasi Pearson Product Moment dipergunakan dalam menganalisis data. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa r = -0,267 dan p = 0,039 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan math anxiety.

Abstract

Environmental degradation calls for ecological awareness from an early age; however, conventional science education in elementary schools ultimately fails to foster meaningful conservation behaviors. This study examines the effectiveness of science learning materials in developing students’ environmental ecological awareness, identifies dominant indicators, and maps current research trends and gaps. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, data were synthesized from scientific articles published between 2022 and 2026. Findings indicate that science learning media consist of three typologies: immersive digital media (digital comics and Virtual Reality), concrete project-based tools (STEAM), and art-integration media (SDGs performances). Digital innovations have been shown to enhance cognitive retention through interactive simulations, while concrete projects and artistic expression strongly stimulate students’ affective and psychomotor domains through real-world actions such as recycling and waste reduction. Research trends are shifting toward immersive, experience-based learning, although gaps regarding the integration of blended media and the consistency of long-term behavior remain. These insights serve as a guide for educators in designing contextual science media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student misconceptions in the concept of nutrient absorption in the digestive system among Grade V students at SDN Sumberjaya 02, Tambun Selatan, and to examine the need for three-dimensional (3D) visual media as a remedial learning tool. This research employs a needs analysis approach within a Research and Development (R&D) framework. Data were collected from 22 students using a diagnostic test combined with the Certainty of Response Index (CRI), supported by a questionnaire administered to 7 students and structured teacher and student interviews. Results indicate that 59.1% of students hold a serious misconception regarding the organ of nutrient absorption, and 54.5% misconceive the digestive process of carbohydrates. CRI analysis identified that 72.7% of students experienced minor to moderate misconceptions. Questionnaire results reveal 100% agreement toward 3D model use in learning. Student interviews revealed a critical kinesthetic gap: all students expressed a desire not only to see but to physically touch and hold 3D organ models, an experience never provided, as learning was conducted solely through smartboard video viewing without group project activities. Teacher interviews uncovered an access-utility paradox: a 3D human organ model was already available in the school inventory but had never been used due to accessibility barriers. These findings provide an empirical foundation for developing portable, hands-on 3D visual media specifically targeting misconceptions in nutrient absorption at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has encouraged the implementation of microlearning, which delivers learning content in short and focused units. This approach is considered suitable for elementary school students who generally have shorter attention spans. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of microlearning on elementary school students' learning outcomes using a literature review method. Data were collected from national and international journal articles published between 2019 and 2025 through Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Taylor & Francis Online. The data were analyzed using content analysis by identifying, selecting, and synthesizing relevant studies. The findings indicate that microlearning effectively improves students' learning outcomes, including conceptual understanding, learning motivation, knowledge retention, and student engagement. Its effectiveness is influenced by instructional design, interactive digital media, teachers' competencies, and technological support. Therefore, microlearning can be considered an innovative learning strategy to enhance the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Pemahaman inferensial merupakan kemampuan membaca yang menuntut siswa memahami makna yang tidak dinyatakan secara langsung dalam teks. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan membaca pemahaman inferensial siswa kelas V sekolah dasar berdasarkan Taksonomi Barrett. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dan dilaksanakan di SDN Duren Jaya VII dengan melibatkan 28 siswa kelas V. Lima siswa dipilih sebagai informan melalui purposive sampling berdasarkan kategori kemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes esai, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca pemahaman inferensial siswa masih bervariasi dan belum merata pada seluruh indikator. Indikator menyimpulkan sifat karakter merupakan kemampuan yang paling dikuasai siswa, sedangkan memprediksi hasil dan menyimpulkan urutan menjadi indikator yang paling lemah. Sebagian besar siswa masih cenderung menggunakan pemahaman literal dengan menyalin atau merangkai informasi yang tersurat dalam teks. Kemampuan inferensial siswa dipengaruhi oleh kebiasaan dan minat membaca, strategi membaca, frekuensi latihan, serta penguasaan kosakata. Temuan penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran membaca yang lebih terarah untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.
