Abstract

This study aimed to determine the development of social studies learning concepts between students who use the circuit learning model and students who use the Circuit Learning model process using the Creative Problem-Solving method in fifth-grade social studies learning in the 2022- 2023 academic year. This research uses a quasi-experimental method and the results of the ability to understand the concept of social studies data collected through a test description or essay. To analyze the differences between those two learning methods, the t-test with a significant level of 0.05 (5%) was used. After being taught using the Circuit Learning model and Creative Problem-Solving models, the results of the ability to understand the concept of social studies have a difference. Students who use the circuit learning model get an average score of 82.1, while students who use the problem-solving method get an average score of 72.86. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis test data using the t-test at a significant level of 0.05 (5%) obtained tcount ttable is 3.80 1.686 so H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Students who use the circuit learning model have a better understanding of social studies concepts than those who use the creative problem-solving model. They are more confident in learning, making it easier for them to understand social studies concepts because they learn collaboratively and competitively and are responsible for their responsibilities in the group.

Abstract

Learning media that are generally used are less attractive and cannot be used optimally independently. Meanwhile, at the fourth-grade level of elementary school, students need engaging media that can be used independently at home. Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media can help students understand the material and foster interest in learning and independent learning. This study aims to develop Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media in science lessons for fourth-grade of elementary schools and determine its feasibility. The research method used is Research and Development (RD) which was conducted in two elementary schools in Jakarta. The research model used is 4D with define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The results related to media expert validation were 86.1%, material expert validation results were 88.8%, and linguist validation results were 94.7%, so overall, it became 89.7% with a very decent category. The results of user trials conducted by teachers and students obtained a value of 92.5% for teacher trials and 92.3% for students. These results make Sparkol Videoscribe-based learning media in the fourth grade of elementary school science lessons feasible. If implemented, it will increase learning effectiveness and motivate learners to be more active and creative.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk mempelajari materi sejarah kerajaan-kerajaan di Nusantara. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan flashcard media berbasis animasi Zepeto untuk pembelajaran IPS kelas IV tentang sejarah kerajaan-kerajaan di Nusantara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, development, disseminate). Instrumen penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian divalidasi oleh para ahli, menunjukkan bahwa validitas ahli materi sebesar 95% (sangat valid), validitas ahli media sebesar 96% (sangat valid), dan validitas ahli bahasa sebesar 75% (valid). Produk juga telah dilakukan uji coba yang terdiri dari uji coba satu lawan satu (97,5% sangat layak), uji coba kelompok kecil (96,6% sangat layak), dan uji coba field test (98,8% sangat layak). Secara keseluruhan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk flashcard media berbasis animasi Zepeto sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran IPS materi Sejarah Kerajaan-Kerajaan di Nusantara bagi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar

Abstract

This research aims to develop a digital Science instructional material based on the 5E learning cycle to enhance elementary school students' learning outcomes. The research method employed Research & Development with the ADDIE approach, consisting of Analysis of Needs, Design of instructional material, Development of instructional material, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data collection was conducted through interviews and questionnaires to gather information from the analysis of the needs of 20 elementary school students and 3 class teachers. The analysis results indicate that 66.7% of teachers state the necessity of digital instructional material to improve students' learning outcomes. Meanwhile, interviews with students reveal the need for easily accessible, interactive, and engaging instructional materials. Both students and teachers responded positively to the development of digital instructional materials in Science learning. In conclusion, the analysis underscores the crucial need for digital Science instructional material based on the 5E learning cycle as additional teaching resources. keywords: digital material;science; 5E learning cycle; elementary school

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in learning Science through the use of interactive learning media based on Google Sites for students in elementary school. The research method used is classroom action research using the Kemmis and Taggart model. This research is cyclical in nature which amounts to three cycles with the aim of making improvements to the problems encountered. In each cycle, action planning, action implementation, action observation, and action reflection were carried out. This research was conducted at Sukamaju 6 State Elementary School in Depok City involving fifth grade students who acted as research subjects. Techniques in collecting research data using observation results, field notes, test results, questionnaires, and documentation. As for knowing the existence of an increase in interest in learning, namely by using a questionnaire given to students, while to measure the improvement of learning outcomes a test instrument is used. This study was declared successful if 85% of students got an average score of 75. The results of the research in the pre-cycle showed the low scores of students on the Science learning so that it is necessary to improve learning and classroom action research using Google Sites.

Abstract

Mata pelajaran IPS, yang wajib dipelajari di semua jenjang pendidikan, mempunyai peran penting dalam membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas dan memiliki kepedulian sosial. Penelitian ini meneliti hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan kemandirian peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa SDN Jati 05 Pagi. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional, data dikumpulkan melalui angket motivasi belajar, angket kemandirian peserta didik, dan nilai UTS IPS. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dan kemandirian peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar IPS, dengan 21,4% variasi hasil belajar IPS dijelaskan oleh kedua faktor tersebut, dan sisanya (78,6%) dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulannya penelitian ini menemukan bahwa motivasi belajar dan kemandirian peserta didik memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa SDN Jati 05 Pagi. Faktor lain di luar motivasi belajar dan kemandirian peserta didik juga turut memengaruhi hasil belajar IPS, dengan persentase 78,6%.

Abstract

Dalam era digital seperti sekarang, pendidikan mengalami transformasi yang signifikan dengan masuknya teknologi ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Terutama dalam pembelajaran Muatan IPS (Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial) di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD), penggunaan media yang tepat menjadi krusial untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Salah satu metode yang telah terbukti efektif dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang interaktif dan menyenangkan adalah metode Mind Mapping.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa banyak kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran Electronic Pocket Book pada mata pelajaran IPS di Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode R&D dengan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada analisis kebutuhan dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas V SDN Johar Baru 15 Pagi. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan  peserta didik menganggap bahwa mengalami kesulitan belajar IPS merupakan materi yang cukup kompleks dan guru merasakan materi yang kompleks membuat kesulitan dalam membuat dan memilih media. Sehingga peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahwa dibutuhkan adanya pengembangan media pembelajaran electronic pocket book berbasis mind mapping di sekolah sasar.

Abstract

Reading comprehension skills are not always easy and quick for every student to master. It is still found that students and school conditions do not support reading activities, so students' reading comprehension skills do not develop optimally. Thus, an approach to learning that can improve students' reading comprehension skills is needed. This research aims to analyze the Whole Language Approach in improving reading comprehension skills for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research method for this research is to adopt the Kemmis and McTaggart action research model. The subjects of this research were 30 class V students. The data collection methods for this research are observation, interviews and tests. The data collection instruments for this research used questionnaire sheets and test questions. This data analysis technique uses two techniques: qualitative data analysis and descriptive static data analysis. The research results were that students' interpretative level reading comprehension skills only reached 48% at the beginning of the pretest. When implementing the whole language approach in cycle I, there was an increase of 78%. Moreover, It increased again until in cycle III, it became 83%. It is concluded that the whole language approach is one-way teachers can use to improve reading comprehension skills at the interpretative level. The implication of this research is that applying the Whole Language Approach can help students learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Analisa kebutuhan dalam mengembangkan media interaktif berbasis Quizizz dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar dengan pendekatan whole language. Pengembangan diawali dengan analisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru terhadap media interaktif pada pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan pendekatan model ADDIE yang memiliki lima langkah pengembangan meliputi analysis, design, development or production, implementation dan evaluations. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SDN Pulogebang 11 Jakarta Timur. Sasaran penelitian pada analisia kebutuhan ini adalah 8 orang guru fase C dan 30 siswa fase C yang dipilih secara random. dan guru kelas fase C. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan observasi. Hasil analisis kebutuhan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlunya pengembangan media interaktif berbasis Quizizz dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar dengan pendekatan whole language.

Abstract

Development research aims to produce quizizz media-based electronic student worksheets as a support for Social Science learning materials. The method used in this research is Research & Development, with the model developed that uses; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This research was conducted at Cipayung 03 Pagi National Elementary School, East Jakarta. The object of research was conducted on 25 fourth grade students. Steps in the research stage, 1) analyzing research needs, 2) product design, 3) developing products, 4) trials: one to one, small groups, and learners and 5) evaluation of products. Data collection techniques use interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the development trial were evaluated by a one-person media expert, a one-person material expert, and a one-person linguist obtained from an average score of 89.3% with an excellent category, while the results of the online user trial resulted in an average score of 88.5%. Thus showing that the worksheets of learners are worth using for social science learning in elementary school
