Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku off-task remaja sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari 50 siswa, yaitu 25 siswa perempuan dan 25 siswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan angket perilaku off-task menunjukkan setengah dari responden berada pada kategori perilaku off-task rendah. Tipe tertinggi perilaku off-task yaitu perilaku off-task motoric.

Abstract

The preparation of the RPL BK carried out by the counseling guidance teacher has not been programmatically formulated based on a description of the needs identified based on the assumptions about the developmental tasks that should be achieved by students and the needs assessments that have been carried out in the previous stage. The inability to compile RPL-BK creatively makes students bored in following services which makes the purpose of the service not achieved. The cause of the inability of counseling teachers to produce creative RPLs is due to a lack of knowledge and a lack of time. The solution that can be given from this problem is to train the creativity of each BK teacher to be able to make the RPLBK plan attractive, so that students do not get bored following the implementation of guidance and counseling. This community service aims to provide training for BK teachers to increase creativity in making RPL so that they are able to generate new views and produce something that has never been done before and will have a good impact on the implementation of BK in schools. This research uses descriptive method through action research. The target audience in community service activities are BK teachers / counselors who work in religious districts. The techniques used in providing this training are via online via zoom meetings. The results obtained were the creativity of the guidance and counseling teachers in making RPL before carrying out guidance and counseling service activities.

Abstract

There is a proverb says ‘men are from Mars and women are from Venus’. There is also term ‘female language’ and ‘male language’. Those state clearly that men and women are different. Are they really are? To find out, there were several aspects analyzed in this research related to the differences done by women and men in their language (conversation). The aspects were: a) The amount of talk. b) Turn Taking. The data of this study was in form of recorded conversation and its transcription. Both the recorded conversation and its transcription were got from talk bank site  (http://talkbank.org/CABank/ca-data.html). There were three participants in this conversation. They were Joanne, Ken and Lenore. Joanne and Ken were a couple. Lenore was a friend of theirs. in analyzing the data, the researcher acted as key instrument. The first finding was about the amount of talk. It was found that Ken talk the most during the conversation, followed by Joanne and the Lenore. This finding broke the stereotype that men talk less than women. The second finding was about turn-taking. There were two kinds of turn-taking system discussed in this research (other-selection and self-selection). It turned out that Joanne had the smallest amount of other selection but had the highest amount of self-selection. On the other hand, Lenore had the highest amount of other-selection but had the lowest amount of self-selection. It seemed that the amount of other-selection was upsidown to self-selection.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara merupakan suatu proses yang memerlukan latihan secara berkala. Namun, pandemi Covid-19 mempengaruhi semua aspek khususnya pendidikan. Pemerintah memerintahkan agar belajar mengajar dilakukan secara online atau belajar dan menagajar dari rumah. Zoom adalah media online yang digunakan untuk menunjang pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Zoom sebagai media online dalam belajar bahasa Inggris (kemampuan berbicara). Metode penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Sampel penelitan ini adalah mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Mohammad Natsir Bukittinggi angkatan 2019 (Kelas A &B), berjumlah 68 orang. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuisioner. Peneliti menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan STATCAL dalam menganalisa hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa setuju dengan beberapa pernyataan bahwa belajar secara virtual dengan menggunakan Zoom sesuai dengan situasi saat ini karena dapat memperlancar proses pembelajaran dan tetap dapat mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Sementara itu, mahasiswa merespon dengan hasil positif atau menyetujui semua komponen yang diberikan terkait persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Zoom sebagai media pembelajaran untuk kelas speaking. Penjelasan lebih rinci dijelaskan dalam hasil dan pembahasan. Kata Kunci: online-learning, zoom, keterampilan berbicara, persepsi mahasiswa

Abstract

ABSTRAK  RSUD Kota Dumai dengan kunjungan peserta BPJS Kesehatan cukup tinggi, rata-rata kunjungan pasien yang datang untuk kasus rawat inap per bulan pada tahun 2021sebanyak 915, merupakan kunjungan paling banyak untuk rumah sakit yang berada di wilayah BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Dumai.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan mutu pelayanan rawat inap dengan kepuasan peserta BPJS Kesehatan di RSUD Kota Dumai.  Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 4 Februari sampai 11 Februari 2022 dengan metode kuantitatif pendekatan cross sectional study di RSUD Kota Dumai, populasi dalam penelitian ini 988 orang, dan sampel penelitian sebanyak 171 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling dan data di olah secara univariate dan bivariate.Hasil menunjukkan bahwa 41,5% responden menyatakan tidak puas terhadap pelayanan di rawat inap, 75,4% responden menyatakan realibility kurang baik, 29,2% responden responsiveness kurang baik, 71,3% responden Assurance kurang baik, 35,1 % responden Empathy kurang baik, 37,4% responden Tangible kurang baik.  Ditemukan hubungan yang signifikan antara Realibility, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, tangibel dengan kepusan pasien, artinya ada hubungan mutu pelayanan rawat inap dengan kepuasan peserta BPJS Kesehatan di RSUD Kota Dumai.  Direkomendasikan kepada RSUD Kota Dumai agar dapat  meningkatkan mutu dengan melakukan pelatihan bagi tenaga kesehatan, melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi tehadap pelayanan yang telah dilakukan agar dapat memberikan pelayanan terbaik khususnya bagi Peserta BPJS Kesehatan. Kata Kunci         : Mutu Pelayanan, Kepuasan Peserta BPJS Kesehatan. ABSTRACT               The Dumai City Hospital with BPJS Health participant visits is quite high, with an average of 915 patient visits coming for inpatient cases per month in 2021, which is the most visits for hospitals in the Dumai Branch of BPJS Kesehatan. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of inpatient services and the satisfaction of BPJS Health participants at the Dumai City Hospital. The study was conducted using quantitative methods with analytical methods with a cross sectional study approach on February 4 to February 11, 2022 at the Dumai City Hospital, the population in this study was 988 people, and the research sample was 171 people, with accidental sampling technique and data processing. univariate and bivariate.               Univariate results showed that 41.5% of respondents stated that they were not satisfied with the inpatient services, 75.4% of respondents stated that reliability was not good, 29.2% of respondents' responsiveness was not good, 71.3% of Assurance respondents were not good, 35 ,1% of respondents Empathy (Empathy) is not good, 37.4% respondents Tangible (Physical Evidence) is not good. The results obtained are bivariate Realibility (Trustworthy) (p value 0.000), Responsiveness (Responsiveness) (p value 0.000), Assurance (guarantee) (p value 0.000), Empathy (empathy) (p value 0.000), Tangible (Physical Evidence) (p value 0.000), meaning that there is a Quality Inpatient Service with BPJS Health Participant Satisfaction at the Dumai City Hospital. The conclusion of this study is the Quality of Inpatient Services with BPJS Health Participant Satisfaction at the Dumai City Hospital. It is recommended to the Dumai City Hospital to improve quality by conducting training for health workers, monitoring and evaluating the services that have been carried out in order to provide the best service, especially for BPJS Health participants. Keywords: Service Quality, BPJS Health Participant Satisfaction.

Abstract

This research is entitled The Effects of Elementary  Students' Comprehension of English Vocabulary When Using Gadgets. This research analyzes the positive and negative effects of elementary students' English vocabulary comprehension when using gadgets. Second language acquisition theory is used to classify the data. The methods used in this research are descriptive-qualitative and observational. The data for this research is the English vocabulary contained in four gadgets and images contained in game applications that use English. The data source is four elementary school students from Karya Sukadamai Street, Sei Agul District, Medan, playing English games on their gadgets. The research found that gadget use has two positive and negative effects on elementary school students' understanding of English vocabulary. It has also been shown that elementary school students unconsciously acquire English vocabulary through learning, as explained in the first hypothesis of Stephen Krashen's theory of second language acquisition.Keywords: Elementary students , English vocabulary, Gadgets, Second language acquisition.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of not maximizing assignment activities in learning in higher education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the tendency of student choices towards Youtube-based assignment formats or essay-based assignments. This research is a comparative research with mixed methods method. The respondents of this study were Cosmetology and Beauty students of Universitas Negeri Padang. The results of the study described 87.5% of respondents choosing the YouTube-based assignment format for reasons related to freedom of space to express ideas and imagination, increased motivation and novelty of the assignment concept, increased understanding, challenges, and flexibility of assignment access. 2.5% of respondents chose the essay-based assignment format due to limited skills and supporting tools in terms of video editing. Furthermore, 10% of respondents chose a combination of Youtube-based assignments and essays for the reasons of excellence of each assignment format. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi belum maksimalnya kegiatan penugasan dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis feasibility of Youtube-based assessment format as well as analyzing kecenderungan pilihan mahasiswa terhadap format penugasan berbasis Youtube atau penugasan berbasis esai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dengan metode mixed methods. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket dan juga wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan juga kualitatif deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi Tata Rias dan Kecantikan Univeritas Negeri Padang. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan 87,5% responden memilih format penugasan berbasis Youtube dengan alasan terkait kebebasan ruang untuk menuangkan ide dan imajinasi, peningkatan motivasi dan kebaruan konsep penugasan, peningkatan pemahaman, tantangan, dan fleksibilitas akses penugasan. 2,5% responden memilih format penugasan berbasis esai dengan alasan keterbatasan skill dan perangkat pendukung dalam hal editing video. Selanjutnya, 10% responden memilih kombinasi penugasan berbasis Youtube dan esai dengan alasan keunggulan dari masing-masing format penugasan.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian mengalami kurangnya implementasi teknologi informasi dalam pembelajaran, dan masih didominasi penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan pengintegrasian platform Youtube dalam konteks pembelajaran dengan fokus pada model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning. Pengintegrasian bertujuan meningkatkan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam proses pengajaran di SMPN 9 Payakumbuh. Model pembelajaran ini dianggap sebagai pendekatan yang sesuai untuk mengakomodasi kebutuhan pembelajaran siswa di era digital. Pembelajaran berbasis proyek mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa, dan penggunaan platform Youtube membuka peluang ekspresi dan memperluas wawasan siswa. Dengan solusi ini, guru dapat beradaptasi dengan tren pembelajaran yang berkembang dan tidak terbatas pada model konvensional. Hasil dari Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menunjukkan pencapaian tujuan yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru SMPN 9 Payakumbuh. Peserta pelatihan mampu mengikuti materi dengan baik, serta mampu menghasilkan konten video pembelajaran dengan kualitas yang baik. Ini mengindikasikan peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru yang berkontribusi positif dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low of student learning engagement and creativity. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential of project-based learning and YouTube in enhancing learning engagement and creativity. The method used in this research is a semi-systematic literature review. The results of the study describe that project-based learning and the YouTube platform have the potential to increase learning engagement and creativity. Some potential aspects of project-based learning integrated with YouTube include relevant and interesting learning content, real project learning experiences, interactive and responsive platforms, flexibility and adaptability, online collaboration features, experimental activity opportunities, and constructive feedback. The findings of this research can be considered by educators when designing learning experiences aimed at improving student learning engagement and creativity. Further research recommendations include the need for experimental implementation of project-based learning integrated with YouTube and measuring the impact of treatment in increasing learning engagement and creativity.

Abstract

The rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in education has transformed how students learn, particularly in fostering self-regulated learning (SRL). However, understanding the mechanisms and conditions under which AI adoption influences SRL remains underexplored. This study investigates the roles of achievement goals, cognitive load, personalized learning, students' adaptability, and AI competence in shaping SRL within an AI-enhanced educational framework. The research employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to analyze direct, mediating, and moderating effects while accounting for demographic controls such as age, gender, internet access, and environment. The findings reveal a complex interplay of factors. Direct effect testing showed that five hypothesized relationships, including the influence of achievement goals, cognitive load, personalized learning, and students’ adaptability on SRL, were unsupported. Mediation analysis confirmed that AI adoption significantly mediates the effects of achievement goals, cognitive load, and personalized learning on SRL, emphasizing the role of technology acceptance in enhancing learning autonomy. Moderation analysis identified that AI competence strengthens the relationship between achievement goals and SRL but does not moderate other interactions, such as those involving AI adoption or cognitive load. These results underscore the nuanced dynamics between cognitive, technological, and motivational factors in AI-enhanced learning. The study contributes to the growing literature on AI-driven education by highlighting the pivotal role of mediating variables like AI adoption and the limited yet strategic influence of AI competence. Future research should explore broader contextual and pedagogical factors to optimize the integration of AI tools in fostering self-regulated learning
